Abstract

This research aimed to determine the Factors Affecting International Student Satisfaction. The populations of this research were international students who enrolled at the Undergraduate Program (S1) of XYZ University. A total of 91 samples were taken by using purposive non-probability sampling technique. Based on the results of previous studies, the researcher took eight (8) independent variables which were assumed to have influences on the dependent variable, International Student Satisfaction. The independent variables being discussed in this research were Education, Social Orientation, Economic Considerations, Safety, Image and Prestige, Technology, Accommodation, and International Student Services. The results showed that eight (8) independent variables simultaneously affect International Student Satisfaction indicated by the F test (simultaneous) with a very high level of significance (0.00a). The research model of this study suggested the level of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0768, which means that the research model could explain 76.8% factors affecting International Student Satisfaction at XYZ University. Meanwhile, the remaining 23.2% were explained by factors that were not included in this research. Based on the partial test (t-Test), XYZ University should focus on improving the following factors: Economic Consideration, Safety, Technology, Accommodation, and International Student Services.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior in Military Institution in Indonesia was rarely being evaluated. Thus, the research is aimed to find an empirical evidence supporting the factors affecting organization citizenship behaviour by taking organization commitment as the independent variable and accountabiilty as the intervening variable . One hundred survey questionaires gathered and analized with smartPLS. Organization commitment is proven to have a direct influence toward organization citizenship behaviour, while accountability mediates the direct influence between organization commitment andorganization citizenship behavior. This research enrices literature contribution toward organization citizenship behaviour variable in military aspect.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine factors which influenced impulse buying behavior at one of local clothing retail store in Cikarang. Based on the previous studies, Promotion Approach and Store Layout were hypothesized as the independent variables which influenced Impulse Buying Behavior as the sole dependent variable. The researcher employed SPSS and binomial logistic regression to analyze the data collected from questionnaires spread to 200 customers of the local clothing retail store. The result of this research suggested that Promotion Approach and Store Layout significantly influenced Impulse Buying Behavior. The biggest influencer to Impulse Buying Behavior was Promotion Approach.

Abstract

Abstract Microfinance is a social entrepreneurship related topic that gained the academic researchers’ attention in the past 10 years because of its adoption in the less developed financial access area. The article aims to map the previous research direction and provide the guidance for further research by conducting a bibilometric analysis from SCOPUS database with co-citation analysis technique. There are 2077 published articles in the SCOPUS indexed journal within 1996 – 2016. Among these articles, we analyzed 90 articles that have 10 co-citations or more. The results shows that there are 3 main clusters in microfinance studies including the impact of microfinance in developing countries, strategic management and organizational behavior of microfinance, and the economic of microfinance The future research direction is discussed in the concluding remarks section. Keywords: Microfinance, social entrepreneurship, microlending, bibilometric analysis, co-citation analysis, areas of knowledge

Abstract

The study was made based on Honda Beat motorcycle sales decline in sales data from CV Lestari Motor Jonggol. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to determine the effect of product attributes on purchasing decisions through buying interest as a mediation variable. The research method is quantitative research with descriptive-explanatory study type using product attribute as exogenous variable, buying interest as mediation variable, and purchase decision as endogenous variable with 17 manifest variables. The object of the research is the user of Honda Beat motorcycle who made a purchase at CV Lestari Motor Jonggol. Sampling using non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires containing closed questions to 100 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive analysis such as percentage analysis and index analysis, and statistical analysis in the form of Structural Equation Modeling analysis with Partial Least Square and mediation effect analysis. Based on the result of research known that product attribute influence purchasing decision through buying interest as mediation variable that acts as partial mediator, so can conclude that there is influence of product attribute to purchasing decision through buying interest as mediating variable to consumer of Honda Beat motorcycle in CV Lestari Motor Jonggol

Abstract

This study aims to develop the beliefs and components of accruals related to the components thatexist, at the same time in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data used in this research is paneldata, from 2011 until 2015 with the number of companies as much as 58 manufacturing companies,totality of data in this industry as much as 290 data. Hypothesis testing in this research using OLSapproach with analysis tool. Eviews 9. As for, the results of this study indicate that the persistence ofpositive spiders on the future, but the relevant accrual components that arise during this time. .Meanwhile, simultaneous does not reflect future cash futures. An alternative test resulted in a positiverelationship to future cash flows, where responsibility would not happen to the future. Here,diseminahkan, donated by positive to the future.

Abstract

Mass media has a function in human life that is as information channel, perform functions as educators, to provide entertainment and as a media persuasive. It is from this function that this study will raise the preparation of how the mass media influence on local cultural identity. Media Television is the object of research is local television in South Sumatra using quantitative research methodology. The theory that made in this research is adolescent with level of education sma. The results of this study can be influence although not very significant between the influence of media and adolescent understanding of local culture.

Abstract

Shopping becomes a relevant component. Shopping has become a factor that influences the choice of destination, travel, travel and travel. With the desire to develop, it is an interesting phenomenon for policy makers, academics and business leaders around the world. The city of Bandung, as one of the cities called "shopping paradise" has attracted many foreign tourists (tourists). The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of foreign tourists perceived value towards shopping tourism in the city of Bandung. The results of the analysis in this study stated that there are 5 (five) new factors of tourist perceived value of shopping tourism. The five factors are: (1) Emotional Value, (2) Value for Money, (3) Social Value, (4) Hedonic Value, and (5) Functional Value. The most dominant factor is Emotional Value because it has the highest Eigen Value. This research recommend coordination between the Government of Bandung City to improve the city infrastructure so as to provide comfort for foreign tourists when visiting the city of Bandung. In addition, there are also innovations in terms of payment when shopping, innovations in shopping centers that are expected to increase tourist satisfaction so the creation of repeat visits also recommends to other foreign tourists.

Abstract

Training is a systematic process of changing the behavior of employees in a direction to improve organizational goals. Quality employees are not created by themselves. Education and training is one of the important tools in supporting the improvement of work performance of employees. Education and training not only adds knowledge but can also improve work skills and will ultimately affect productivity improvements. The purpose of the company is to improve the quality and performance of its employees. Therefore, the Company engages its employees in training in the hope of bringing positive changes to the company. In this study the authors used descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentary studies. The population in this study included private employees who worked in the city of Pontianak. Because the population in this study is less than one hundred, the entire population is sampled. The conclusion in this study is that the employee training policy of the employees studied in the city of Pontianak has been running well. Where in the employee training policy an overview of the work, knowledge, skills and expertise in the work is given.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah perilaku pedagang, dan penulis membatasi pada: Analisis budaya, analisis sosial, analisis pribadi, dan analisis psikologis. Metode deskriptif, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara dan mendistribusikan kuesioner. Populasi adalah pedagang ikan di Pasar Ikan Flamboyan di Pontianak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dari populasi menggunakan simple random sampling dengan 50 responden. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan dan dirata-ratakan responden setuju dengan analisis perilaku pedagang yang mencakup faktor budaya, faktor sosial, faktor pribadi, faktor psikologis perilaku pedagang. Variabel budaya memiliki rata-rata keseluruhan 4,01, variabel sosial memiliki rata-rata keseluruhan 3,78, variabel pribadi memiliki rata-rata keseluruhan 3,65, dan variabel psikologis memiliki rata-rata keseluruhan 3,69.  Kata kunci: Analisis Perilaku Pedagang
