Abstract

The aim of this research and development is to develop the student worksheet based on multicultural education for PPKn lesson in IV grade elementary school. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE development model. There are 5 steps in the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The technique of collecting data used in this research are interview and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research and development is descriptive statistics. Student worksheets are validated by involving 3 experts, including material experts, media experts, and language experts. The subjects of the study were 4th grade students, totaling 4 students for the one to one evaluation and 12 students for the small group evaluation. The results showed that the student worksheets based on multicultural education for PPKn lesson in IV grade elementary school were included in the very good category with a percentage of 90.90% by material experts, 92.85% by linguists and 93.75% by media experts. Trials on students were included in the very good category at the step one to one evaluation of 95.95% and the small group evaluation of 97.91%. This shows that worksheet is feasible to be used as a learning resource in PPKn lesson.

Abstract

The spread of the COVID-19 outbreak has had a big impact on the lives of Indonesian, especially in sector education. The process of teaching and learning activities in Indonesia has to be carried out on a limited basis or remotely in accordance with the policy issued by the Minister of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education in the Covid-19 Emergency Period. This study aims to determine student interest in learning and the factors that influence student interest in learning social studies on the subject history of national events during the colonial period in 5th grade SDN Purwamekar, Kab. Purwakarta, Prov. West Java. This research is a case study research type with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were 5th grade students and 1 teacher at SDN Purwamekar. The results showed that students' interest in social studies learning material history of national events during the colonial period was still quite sufficient because when learning it students did not feel happy, the materials was difficult to memorize and learning models and methods used by teachers were less attractive. The percentage results for the four subjects were : the largest percentage was obtained by 88% in the very good category, for the smallestpercentage obtained by 40% with the less category. good criteria with a percentage of 66% and a percentage of 62% with a good category. Factors that influence student learning interest are lack of enthusiasm for learning, different intelligence, the role of parents in educating and guiding children.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop learning media based on snakes and laddersin order to optimize science subjects with theme 9 "Kayanya Negeriku" in the material "Sources of Energy" for fourth-grade students at SDN Pengadegan 07 South Jakarta. The problems raised are based on the lack of instructional media, so teachers are required to be creative in choosing the right learning media for students. The research method adapted to the development model developed by Borg and Gall. The study used the following six steps: (1) potential problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, and (6) product revision. The data collection tools used were: the material expert questionnaire and the media expert questionnaire.The results of the validation of all validators showed a very good assessment, namely from the first validator material expert (V1) with a score percentage of 97.3% (very good) and the second validator material expert (V2) with a score percentage of 89% (very good). Meanwhile, the first validator was a media expert (V1) with a percentage of 90.58% (very good) and the second validator was a media expert (V2) with a score percentage of 87% (very good).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine efforts to strengthen Character Education in elementary schools, using the character education pattern applied in Ibtidaiyah Madrasah. This research uses a qualitative type of descriptive research with a case study design. In this study, for data collection using observation techniques, and interviews. The results of this study concluded that: 1) Strengthening character education in students at the MI level is the responsibility of schools and parents, 2) The value of educational character patterns is applied and shown in MI Matala'ul Atfal with good habituation, such as dhuha prayer, muroja'ah, zuhr prayer in school and others. 3) strategies used by teachers in the application of Character education can be by example, routine activities that are applied every day When learning, application of religious values, responsibility, honesty, tolerance, and so on. 4) Obstacles obtained in efforts to strengthen character education, namely due to an environment that does not support the process of strengthening character education, factors of teachers who do not absorb good habituation, parents who do not teach character education at home, as well as the factors of the students themselves

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science learning in class IV Elementary School 1 Cibentar. The purpose of this study is to improve science learning outcomes in fourth-grade elementary school students by using a cooperative learning model of team games tournament type. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles, each cycle is carried out twice the action consists of four stages of activity, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The subjects of this study were the fourth-grade students of the State Elementary School 1 Cibentar, Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency, totaling 17 students. Data collection techniques using observation, learning outcomes tests, and documentation. The research instrument used was an observation sheet on student activities in applying the cooperative learning model of team games tournament type. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle, student learning outcomes are 66.66%, and in the second cycle 83.33%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of time games tournament type can improve student learning outcomes in science learning for class IV at SD Negeri 1 Cibentar.

Abstract

Learning in the pandemic era has several recent breakthroughs, one of which is learning online or online. In line with technological advances in the era of the pandemic, learning can be applied with learning media. Utilizing technology in the form of an encyclopedia of regional dance in Indonesia can be an alternative to learning. Previous research explained that the availability of learning media in elementary schools was less varied and the students' motivation was low in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of regional dance encyclopedia media in Indonesia when applied to learning. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method. Validation was carried out by 4 experts, namely media experts, linguists, learning experts, and material experts. The results of the assessment of regional dance encyclopedia media in Indonesia by media experts scored 86.25 in the "very good" category, material experts scored 78.3 in the "good" category, learning experts got a score of 100 in the "very good" category, linguists get 75 in the "good" category, the average score obtained from expert validation is 85 with a very good category so that the quality of the SBdP regional dance encyclopedia media in Indonesia for grade IV elementary school students is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to portray the cultivation of nationalism through extracurricular traditional dance and nationalism character embedded in students who take extracurricular traditional dance in SDN Patihan City of Madiun. The sample of the study was extracurricular teachers of traditional dance and five students who took extracurricular activities in a traditional dance at Patihan Elementary School in Madiun City. The study was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection instruments used observation sheets, interview guides, and extracurricular values documents of students' traditional dance. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed1) the cultivation of nationalism through extracurricular traditional dance in SDN Patihan City of Madiun was carried out in three domains, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor; 2) the character of nationalism embedded in students, namely appreciation of the national culture itself, maintaining the nation's cultural richness, love of the motherland, discipline, respecting cultural diversity, ethnicity, and religion, and working together. The six characters are manifested both incognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

Abstract

Speaking skill is the skill of producing a stream of articulation sound systems that are used to appreciate, and convey ideas, desires, feelings, or desires in accordance with the context being faced by the reader. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative using poems as a medium for observation. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of grade 5 elementary school at SDN Pengadegan 07 Pagi. Data was obtained from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained were checked for data, data encoding, clarification, and correction, and presented properly. The analysis technique used is based on the theory of Miles and Huberman which includes (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, (4) conclusion/verification. The results of this study are speaking skills at SDN Pengadegan 07 Pagi through poem students can convey the main idea well, the majority of children have given the main idea but articulation and intonation are low. The advantages of speaking skills through rhymes are that students can convey main ideas more creatively, speak loudly, and straightforwardly, have a good tempo, and are easy to understand. Deficiency of speaking skills through rhymes is a minimum of reaction from listeners because online, the reading tone and tempo are monotonous, and there are students who have poor intonation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the online learning process and to find out the responses of educators, students, and parents in online learning, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the online learning process. The research method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were teachers, students, and parents of students. Sources of data used by researchers, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources are teachers, students, and parents of students. Secondary data is data obtained from literature, articles, journals, and the Internet. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. After the researcher got the research data, then the data analysis was carried out. The data analysis technique in this study is the analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are the online learning process at SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I Yogyakarta by using WhatsApp groups, zoom meetings, google classroom and google forms as online learning media. The responses of teachers, students, and parents about the online learning process are that they respond to this online learning well and wisely but they hope to do face-to-face learning soon. The supporting and inhibiting factors in online learning are the existence of good cooperation between teachers and parents of students, and the existence of mobile phones, quotas, and internet networks as supporting tools for the implementation of the online learning process. And the inhibiting factor is that not all students have personal cell phones, students are lazy to take online learning, run out of quota or lose signal.
