Abstract

The Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector has proven resilient, when the economic crisis in 1998, only the SME sector survived the collapse of the economy, while the larger sector fell by the crisis. The Role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as an economic movement, its existence is the engine of growth for the growth and development of new entrepreneurs and the increasing performance of SMEs. However, SMEs still face obstacles in terms of technical expertise, competence, entrepreneurship and management as well. Furthermore, the problem faced is limited access to productive resources such as raw materials, capital, technology, market facilities and information. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial attitudes and market orientation on learning in improving business performance of SMEs themselves. This research model consists of three hypotheses with four variables namely entrepreneurial attitude, market orientation and organizational learning on business performance. The data used is 82 SMEs in Tangerang City using the Structural Equation Modeling analysis tool in the Smart PLS program. The results of data analysis prove that all proposed hypotheses can be accepted. So it can be concluded that business performance is influenced by three factors, both directly and indirectly, namely organizational orientation, market orientation and entrepreneurial attitudes.

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis research are to describe leadership types of SDIT THI headmaster, to describe the obstacles to increase the quality of education, to describe the effort to increase the quality of education, to describe the education quality of SDIT THI Kota Tangerang. Research method applied was descriptive qualitative research. Data collecting obtained from information, place and leadership activity of headmaster and document. Data retrieval technique was in the form of interview, observation, and document study. Data validity test was done by applying source triangulation, method triangulation. Data analysis technique that isa data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing which is interact each other. Result of research in the form of specific findings that are 1) The increasing of education quality in SDIT THI depends on the headmaster leadership types. The leadership types of SDIT THI headmaster is democratic type. 2) In general, SDIT THI doesn’t have the the significant obstacles to improve the quality of education. 3) Headmaster effort is quite effective to improve the quality of education in SDIT THI. 4) The education quality of SDIT THI is quite good and congruen to standard quality of Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and salesgrowth on partial financial distress on property, real estate and buildingconstruction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).The research period is 3 years in 2015-2017. The population of thisstudy covers all sectors of property, real estate and building constructioncompanies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2017.The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Based onpredetermined criteria obtained 50 samples of the company. Type ofdata which is secondary data obtained from the site Burssa EfekIndonesia. Data analysis used is regression data panel. The resultsshowed that liquidity had a positive effect on financial distress andnegative leverage on financial distress while sales growth did not affectfinancial distress.

Abstract

This study aims to the extent to which the work professionalism ofemployees can improve the quality of service in building a BuildingPermit (IMB) at the Tangerang City One Stop Investment Service. Thehypothesis proposed is: "There is a Positive Role of Employee WorkProfessionalism in Improving the Quality of Service for BuildingConstruction Permits (IMB) in Tangerang City BPMPTSP".Based on theresults of the study, it is known that there is a positive and significantrole of work professionalism in improving the quality of residential IMBservices.The higher the value of work professionalism, the higher thequality of service for the IMB of the Residence in Tangerang CityBPMPTSP.The results of this study inform that the variableprofessionalism of work is an important factor in improving the qualityof service for making residential building permits (IMB).

Abstract

The target of local taxes supports the a better local development. DKI Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia has its own strategic taxes sources. Some of them are hotel tax, restaurant tax, and entertainment tax. This aims to find out the taxes effectiveness and the taxes contribution of hotel tax, restaurant tax, and entertainment tax. Using the descriptive-quantitative, the period of the local real earning of DKI Jakarta is 2010-2013. The result explained that the hotel tax and restaurant tax in 2010-2013 were very effective. Meanwhile tha entertainment tax was slowing down to be ineffectve in 2013. The level of taxes contribution of hotel tax, restaurant tax, and entertainment tax are relatively small as it showed under 10% of each period. It is important to recalculate the number of hotels, restaurants, and types of enterntainment in DKI Jakarta. Using three types of local taxes and short period of local real earning, next researchers can use more types and longer period of local real earning.

Abstract

This study was to determine whether the audit committee of institutional ownership and firm size (size) positive effect on the performance of companies, both partially and simultaneously. Agency theory is the theory behind a conflict of interest between managers and owners (shareholders). The manager as agent and owner of the company as a principal. Agents often misuse company resources with an excessive amount. Agency conflict is a situation where managers often make decisions that benefit themselves rather than the interests of shareholders. While the minimal information that principals have difficulty to find out if the agent had acted in accordance with the wishes of the principal or even hurt the company.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether perceptions and services have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest of Dapur Kwalli either partially or simultaneously. The research method used descriptive analysis method and multiple regression analysis method. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Researchers used 100 respondents as a sample. The results showed that perceptions and services have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest of Dapur Kwalli partially and simultaneously.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah persepsi dan layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen Dapur Kwalli baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan metode analisis menggunakan regresi berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Peneliti menggunakan 100 responden sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dan layanan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen Dapur Kwalli secara parsial dan simultan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the right marketing strategy sothat the number of UMT new students is increasingly based on whatare the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that arepursued by UMT. How to Understand UMT has great strength, thestrength is questioning because UMT is a Muhammadiyah charitybusiness. UMT also passed a huge opportunity which was high in thepublic interest to continue their education up to college. The mostdominant weakness of UMT is the weak competence of lecturers, whilethe major challenges related to UMT are the national economicconditions that do not support economic improvement and the rapiddevelopment of information technology. The position of the UMTquadrant coordinate in the growth position means that UMT is a strongand potential organization. The recommendations given are progressive,meaning that the organization is in top condition and stable. Related toreally being expanded to continue the development of expansion,growth and improvement, the most appropriate marketing strategy is tosupport the development of strategies, including by improving the qualityof service, both for students, prospective students, by promoting values,Islam and nobility.

Abstract

Things that need to be done in order to prove independentcommissioners, audit committee, capital intensity and corporate risk ontax avoidance in companies engaged in Indonesia Stock Exchange(IDX). In this study, tax avoidance uses the Cash Effective Tax Rate(CETR) proxy. The research period is 4 years, ie during 2013-2016. Thestudy population covers all manufacturing companies of the industrialsector of goods in the period 2013-2016ALAH 148 companies. Thesampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Based on thecriteria set in the sample of 84 corporate data. Types of data which aresecondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website.The process of data analysis that is panel analysis of regression data.The results showed that independent commissioners and capital intensitydid not have a significant effect, while audit committee and corporaterisk had a significant effect on tax evasion.

Abstract

Asean Economic Community (AEC) was officially started on 31December 2015. The objectives of AEC were to integrate diversity ofAsean economy into a single market with 625 million people ofinhabitant. AEC is expected to be a new market force in Asean andimprove economic development of Asean member countries. AEC willallow a free movement of goods and services, skilled labors and flow ofcapital in Asean countries. However, implementation of the AECframework is not an easy task; Trade policies, mobility of workers,diversity on politic, social, and economy including rapid growth ofeconomic development in China are some challenges to fully integrateAsean countries in a single market of AEC. For Indonesia, AEC providesopportunities to enhance export of goods and services in Aseancountries. Therefore competitiveness of Indonesian products in the AECmarket should be improved. Based upon components of competitivessreported by World Economic Forum (2014), Indonesia was in the top 5among Asean member countries, except competitiveness on efficiency inlabor market that was in the lowest position.
