Abstract

At Trisula bridge project Blitar, Mast Crane (MC) ?was used for the erection of steel frame bridge while Tower Crane? (TC) was an alternative for the implementation of structure work. The purpose of the study is compare the two? cranes in terms of time and cost. The bridge is of 70 m span; the maximum length of MC can reach is of 3 m and TC is of 40 m. The data of daily, weekly, and monthly report and the 18-week planned S ? Curve were needed to find out the implementation time. The implementation cost was calculated from the setting cost of S ? Curve at IDR 739.883.800,00. Pylon method was ratio of maximum strand force 0,914 for MC and 0,924 for TC.The calculations result in 283,065 hours of MC use at IDR 739.883.800,00. And 161,219 hours of TC use at IDR 1.056.436.000,00.Keywords: comparison, erection, frame.

Abstract

An appropriate and accurate management of financial source will be able to run activities of a project well and increases the contractor?s profit. This reasearch aims at determining the kind of optimum cashflow of a multi purpose construction project in Malang. Schedule, debits and credits, loan interest, installment plan, completed with the system of contract payment from the owner to the contractor were needed to make the cash flow. It was done by employing 20% and 0% down payment based on EST (Earlierst Start Time), 27 kinds of resource payment system varied in start, prorate, and end of cost, material, and work. Each Cash flow will not only determine the balance of payments and total credits of each period but also the profit. The findings the show that the kinds of Cash flow which gives maximum profit for contractors, are as follow: 1) the one based on EST with no down payment system at a difference profit of IDR 109.708.207,51 or 1,5%; 2) the one based on arrangement of cost, material, and work payment system which results in Start-End-End payment; 3) the application of the two Cash flow systems results in? Abstract

Abstract Highway in Malang there that needs to be analyzed is Intersections Letjend S. Parman Street ? Ciliwung Street and Letjend Sutoyo Street ? Letjend Selorejo. The road is an arterial road in the city of Malang with a high vehicle density level (Saputra, 2013). The Street was a high traffic flow led to queues or long saturated flow that is not supported by the settings of the light signals in accordance with the conditions in the field so often causes congestion. From finding a solution the traffic density in the study Letjend S Parman Street ? Ciliwung Street and Letjend Sutoyo Street ? Letjend Selorejo with Indonesia Highway Capasity Manual (IHCM). After stages 3-signal coordination calculation in Ciliwung Intersection of Malang, Intersection obtained time peak hours at the intersection area occurred at 11.00 ? 12.00 GMT. Performance 3-waay junction on the Ciliwung Malang at this time has not met the target. Seen from there is still a Degree of Saturation (DS) which do not meet the targets ( ? 0,75), namely 0,83. Abstract

In Indonesia, the highway pavement construction still use flexible pavement construction (Flexible Pavement). One of the problems often faced in the implementation time is to keep the temperature mix asphalt is still in the limit, This happens because it is associated with the weather conditions and the length of the transport of asphalt mixing point to the location. So often happens temperature asphalt mix location is at the lowest limit, and potentially non-fulfillment of the temperature required at this stage to stage compaction. This will result in the implementation of the road pavement quality and age will affect the service life of pavement construction. On the basis that the researchers took the title "The Effect of Temperature on the Stability and flow ?of Thin Layer Paving Asphalt Concrete ". The method used is the real experimental research is doing real research on the model Thin layers of asphalt pavement with concrete, size 100 cm wide, 300 cm long and thick Thin Layer Asphalt Concrete 5 cm. Treatment on the sample that is a variation solidification temperature (120 oC, 100 oC, 80 oC, 60 ?C) with 32 times the amount of compaction. The results showed that the solidification temperature affect the stability and flow value Thin Layer Asphalt Concrete, and the relationship between the solidification temperature on the stability of the equation written in the form y = -0,0315x2 + 10,155x - 349.33, where y = stability (Kg) and x = temperature (? C). and the relationship between the solidification temperature of the flow is written in the form of the equation y = -6E-05x2 + 0,0341x + 1.2935, where y = flow ?(mm) and x = temperature (? Abstract

One attempt to create a good transport system is the construction of new roads toll roads. A toll road construction soon to be implemented is AA segment a which is of ?investment oriented and expected to give profits to the investors. According to the plan, the toll road is 40.5 km long development is divided into 4 sections. Data required to perform financial analysis is the cost of investment, operation and maintenance cost, traffic volume, and the toll rate plans. These data to find the values of the parameters used to calculate the financial analysis include the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), and Payback Period (PP). The financial analysis will use two funding alternatives, alternative I using 100% equity, alternative II using 30% equity and 70%? loan. The purpose of this study is to determine the results of the financial analysis of the parameter values of highway construction project feasibility and determine the most influential factors after a sensitivity analysis has been made. Based on the financial analysis the investment cost results in IDR 3,827,698,222,645. The financial analysis NPV parameters alternative I results in IDR 661,439,934,962 and alternative II in IDR 230,334,925,350 which means they are feasible because both NPVs are greater than 0; both the IRR of 14.18% for alternative I and 13.02% for alternative II are greater than Minimum Attractive Rate Of Return (MARR) value of 12.42%; so, they are feasible; the value of BCR of alternative I is of 1.13 and alternative II is of 1.04; so, they are feasible because the value of BCR is greater than 1. While the PP of alternative I in the period of 12.1 years and alternative II in the period of 13.5 years. The sensitivity analysis of alternatives I and II result in? the most influential alternative?when construction period experiences ? 3 years backwards.Keywords: investment cost, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis.

Abstract

Penggunaan FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) dalam bidang inovasi struktur teknik sipil telah dipelajari dan didiskusikan dan dalam waktu yang sangat singkat, FRP telah berkembang luas menjadi bahan cerdas yang siap untuk menggantikan beton dan baja. Kekurangan baja dan beton terutama dalam kasus lentur untuk bentang yang panjang berat sendirinya mendominasi dari kapasitas lentur nominal yang tersisa dan juga dominan daripada beban hidup. Banyak penelitian yang memanfaatkan FRP sebagai perkuatan jembatan lama (retrofit) yang menggunakan strip atau sistem strip prategang karbon, tapi jarang sekali yang terfokus pada aplikasi FRP secara penuh sehingga diusulkan sebuah gelagar FRP bertipe-U untuk menahan lentur. Gelagar berpenguat FRP terbuat dari serat bertipe E-glass dengan menggunakan resin polyester tak jenuh sebagai bahan matriks. Gelagar komposit dibentuk dari satu set mat uniaksial bersudut 0? dan mat biaksial yang bersudut ?45?. Penampang sayap tertarik profil-U bagian bawah mempunyai konfigurasi lay-up 17 lapis mat [?45?3/0?4/?45?3/0?4/?45?3] sedangkan bagian penampang yang lainnya mempunyai konfigurasi lay-up 9 lapis mat [?45?]9. Gelagar divariasikan pada tingginya yaitu 15 cm, 12.5 cm dan 10 cm berturut-turut untuk gelagar A, B dan C. Bentang gelagar diset sebesar 2000 mm dan beban lentur 3 titik terpusat dari 0 sampai 105kN yang diberikan secara quasi-static. Beban dan lendutan dicatat secara manual tetapi regangan dicatat secara otomatis menggunakan data aqcuisition system. Pada beban terpusat lebih dari 0 kN sampai 105 kN, diperoleh hasil dengan rerata lendutan sebesar 47 mm dan rerata regangan tarik sebesar 0.0018. Urutan lendutan dan regangan dari yang kecil sampai yang besar adalah gelagar A, B lalu C. Tetapi kerusakan geser dan tumpu lokal akibat beban terpusat dari urutan yang kerusakannya secara visual paling kecil sampai paling besar adalah gelagar C, B lalu A.?Kata-kata Kunci: gelagar-U, E-glass/polyester, FRP, kinerja lentur.
