Abstract

Modern software development methods such as Agile have given customers a flexibility to provide new requirement input when development is on progress, but customers cannot access released products during development. Nowadays, DevOps is a new method of software development that is the solution to these problems. In general, the DevOps Method does not emphasize complete system requirements at the beginning of development. Instead, the formulated requirements are immediately drafted in the model, implemented, and deployed, so the customer quickly obtains an overview of the product. This paper aims to discuss forward and reverse engineering software development in DevOps infrastructure. This paper is limited to the discussion side of software development engineering, it does not discuss the side of daily operations such as the discussion of web servers and other subsequent processes. Through a case of developing an internal quality assurance system at UNSOED, it was shown that forward and reverse engineering did not affect the stability of software development and operation using the DevOps method. The results of the study show that forward and reverse engineering are parts of development phase, be done because of the existence of new requirements from customers or improvement from developer itself, be done concurrently with the operation phase.

Abstract

The use of smartphone devices has become a part of people's lives in finding the information they need, including finding tourist locations that suit their desires. The problem is when tourism site managers cannot keep up with technological developments needed by the community, where most still use conventional paper media marketing methods such as brochures and travel pocketbooks. Therefore, the development of tourism promotion applications is needed to support the marketing of tourist destinations such as in Pangandaran, West Java. This application's development uses the Prototype method, which only focuses on functionality needs, which uses video media that is displayed with Augmented Reality technology. The results of the development of this application can only display 7 (seven) superior tourism location videos in Pangandaran, West Java.

Abstract

Gobak Sodor is a traditional game that came from Indonesia. Gobak Sodor is also known as a different name in Indonesia and Malaysia, such as Panjang tangan in Riau-Sumatra, Asing in Makassar, Galah Asin in West Java, and Galah Panjang in Malaysia. Gobak Sodor is a game that is played in two groups and has a rule that one group must prevent the opponent through the line back to back. However, Indonesia's open area has gradually reduced so that people difficult to play gobak Sodor. The loss of open land for playing Gobak Sodor and game technology advances make children slowly forget the gobak sodor. In the present time, technology is common for people to support their daily life activities. One of technology implementation form is electronic game, where peoples can play without the limitation of time and space. The electronic game also give pleasure and fun as much as conventional game activities. With the form of electronic game, this research develop a game application which implements all of the gobak sodor rules. Abstract

E-learning-based learning has been widely applied in several educational institutions, one of which is Telkom University (Tel-U). Through the Center of e-Learning and Open Education (CeLOE) program established by Tel-U, network-based learning can be enjoyed by students. However, along the way, CeLOE encountered several obstacles, including the very rigid teaching materials that could have an impact on the reduced learning power of students. To solve this, it is necessary to improve the content of the material, especially learning videos by providing designs and animations for lecturer materials which on average contain full text. The approach used is the principle of visual design by utilizing motion graphics as the main aspect of material content with the ultimate goal of making learning videos more interesting and animated. Thus, the material presented can stimulate interest in learning for students at Telkom University.

Abstract

One of the Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid (committee to serve public service in a mosque) main task is to provide prayer facilities in a mosque, such as managing schedules for muezzin and imam salat. Most of the time, the plan is executed manually. Moreover, preparing the schedule is not easy. It needs cautious and excessive effort as DKM members should be careful not to make an unbalanced schedule for each muezzin/ khatib. It is also an error-prone process since putting the unavailable person in the schedule slot is possible. To overcome the condition, we build a mobile application for managing schedules for muezzin and imam salat. The application has been tested with usability testing and a user experience questionnaire. The results from both testing tools yield excellent results; the application could implement and comfortably used for managing schedules. From the result, it can be inferred that Al Aboor meets the criteria for a good mobile application and can be developed further.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a system developed to learn and apply human intelligence. Some technologies produced from the development of Al are face recognition and web scraping. Face recognition is used for identifying or verifying the identity of an individual using their face. The result of a face recognition process can be used to collect information on the internet with a web scraping technique. This paper proposes a face recognition model and web scraping system using You Only Look Once (YOLO) object detection method and Request library written in Python. The face recognition model performed fine-tuning in two hyperparameters, which are learning rate and step training. The proposed model for face recognition is using custom datasets that contain 8000 images divided into 5 classes and evaluated using the Mean Average Precision (mAP) performance parameter, while the web scraping system is evaluated using the precision rate parameter. From the test results, the best configuration was obtained at a learning rate of 0.0001 and step training of 10K. The highest mAP that is achieved is 0.90 with a recall and precision value of 0.75 for each, while the average precision rate is 0.87. The results of this paper are expected to contribute to the development of biometric security technology.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an act of taking ideas, taking research results, acquiring research results, and summarizing writing without mentioning the source, either intentionally or unintentionally. The cosine similarity method can be used to calculate the score of similarities between documents by comparing existing documents on the database with uploaded ones to gain a similarity percentage. External plagiarism detection (EPD) is used to compare the contents of articles. The design and implementation of the system will be carried out in several stages in the hope that the system can work optimally and detect text similarities accurately. This research objective is to check the plagiarism rate of the document using the cosine similarity method as a method of calculating word equations called Kipcheck. The purpose of checking the level of plagiarism is to ensure that the documents created have a minimum level of fraud to avoid academic sanctions. Kipcheck uses three application system tests; maximum word calculation that can be processed; comparing application and manual calculation; and testing the consistency of application calculation results based on two different schemes.

Abstract

The selection of the right tourist attractions is always done by tourists before visiting tourist attractions. Tourists have different criteria in choosing the tourist attractions they want to visit. There are many good tourist attractions on the island of Lombok, Indonesia, but of the many tourist attractions, tourists need recommendations for the best tourist attractions to visit. Decision-making methods can be used to create a ranking system. Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) is a decision-making method in Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems by combining qualitative and quantitative factors in complex problems. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is a decision-making method to generate a rating preference value. The purpose of this paper is to utilize a combination of AHP-SAW to decide the weight of the criteria and the significance of alternative tourist attractions. The results of the calculation of the AHP-SAW combination resulted in the ranking of the best tourist attractions. This study uses five alternative tourist attractions on the island of Lombok, namely Pink Beach (A1), Senggigi Beach (A2), Tanjung Aan Beach (A3), Marese Hill (A4), and Mayura Park (A5) taken fro m several trusted sites. In addition, the five criteria used are visitor reviews, visitor ratings, ticket prices, the distance of tourist attractions fro m the airport, and visiting time. The results showed that the AHP-SAW combination resulted in a consistent ratio value of 0.0371 so that the criterion-weighted data could be used as a basis for calculating the preference value and ranking of alternative tourist attractions. The best alternative for tourist attractions is Tanjung Aan Beach (A3) with a preference value of 0.9554.
