Abstract

Hypertension is a condition when the systolic blood pressure greater than 120 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure over 80 mmHg. Healthy lifestyle of hypertension as one of handling blood pressure so that family support is necessary in order to achieve compliance with management healthy lifestyle in patient with hypertension. The purpose study to determine relation of the family support with the healthy lifestyle of hypertension in family. Method: Design of study deskriptif corelasional with cross sectional design. Study was conducted at UPT Kesmas Gianyar I with forty three respondents was taken by consecutive sampling. Family support and healthy lifestyle of hypertension by questionnaire and analyzing using by rank spearman test. Result: Research of study showard most respondents have a high family support 41,9% and a most respondents has enough healthy lifestyle 58,1%. The result of analysis obtained p=0.012<α (α=0.05), which means there is a significant a relation of the family support with healthy lifestyle of hypertension in family. Discussion: Device for community to implement the healthy lifestyle of to controlled blood pressure in patient with hypertension.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease that has an increasing prevalence worldwide and Indonesia. In Bali, the prevalence is 5.9% of the total population. This number will continue to increase as the change of lifestyle and eating pattern in the community. This study aims to prove the risk factors that related to the incident of type 2 diabetes mellitus in out clinic patient of Sanglah Hospital.This was an observational analytic study using unmatched case control study. The respondents in this study consisted of case and control with 1:2 ratio.  Case was type 2 DM  outpatients that matched diagnostic criteria or type 2 DM patients that had been treated and visited Sanglah hospital. Control was non diabetic outpatients that came to sanglah hospital. The number of respondents was  84 respondent  that were determined using consecutive sampling.The instruments   were questioners, medical records, and fasting blood sugar levels. Univariate, bivariate (chi-square) and multivariate (multiple logistic regression) analysis  were used in this study. The result of this study showed the OR value of activity levels   was   4.298 (95% CI = 1.646 – 11.226. The OR value of fat consumtion patterns was 7.171 (95% CI=1.986-11.226). The OR of karbohidrat consumtion was 0.224 (95% CI: 0.071-0.703).   The result also showed that fat consumtion pattern had a chance to cause diabetic by 6.7  compared to activity levconsumtion of carbohidrat to cure diabetes at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar.The health institutions should improve promotive and preventive measures to diabetic and non diabetic patients.

Abstract

Nowadays, population of asthma symptoms increased according to the life style of modern people. Giving warm water was self action therapy non-pharmacologically its benefit is to open the airway for asthma’s patient. The purpose of this study was gain more knowledge about the effect by giving warm water before nebulizer action toward to the smoothness asthma’s patient airway. This study took place at RSUD Bangli on June-July 2017. Method: Quasi Experimental Design With Two Groups Research Using Pretest-Posttest Design. About twenty samples taken using Non-Probability With Consecutive Sampling. In this research using two hypothesis such as Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U-Test. Result And Analysis: The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test hypothesis results got about 0,002 p value. Than Mann-Whitney U-Test got about 0,029 p value. Mean that there were difference effects by giving warm water before nebulizer action toward to the airway smoothness of asthma patient. Discussion: By giving warm water resulting two effects, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic therefore the airway become permanent.

Abstract

The Cardiovascular endurance is the ability of the heart, lungs and blood vessels inproviding oxygen for muscle therefore the muscles can contract. The purpose of this studywas to knew the effect of zumba gymnast in improving the  cardiovascular endurance on clients with schizophrenia in the RSJ Bali Province.The research design of this study was used a quasi experimental designwithout group control. The sample used by 10 people and given training in the form of Zumba gymnastics, for six weeks, in a given period three times with duration 45 minutes.The results showed that the mean of cardiovascular endurance pre-test 31,80 ± 3,15 ml / kg / min, post-test 33,90 ± 4,48 ml / kg / min (p <0,05) with paired analysis Sample test there was an increase in mean cardiovascular endurance of 2.1 ml / kg / min. The conclusion that there was a zumba gym effect on cardiovascular endurance in patients with schizophrenia in RSJ Bali Province. It can be suggested to the RSJ Bali Province to give zumba gym training regularly and continuously

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Jumlah remaja yang merokok elektrik khususnya pada siswa SMA semakin meningkat. Berdasarkan penelitian rokok elektrik memiliki bahaya yang sama dengan rokok konvensional, seperti menimbulkan kecanduan, penyakit berbahaya dan mengganggu perkembangan otak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai proporsi siswa SMA swasta yang merokok elektrik dan faktor yang memengaruhinya.Metode: Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional study yang dilaksanakan di  suatu SMA swasta di Kota Denpasar  selama 3 bulan dari Januari  sampai Maret  2017. Sampel dipilih secara keseluruhan sebanyak 174 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Analisis data untuk menilai faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku merokok elektrik menggunakan poisson regresi.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rata-rata umur subyek adalah 16 tahun dan semuanya berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Proporsi siswa yang pernah mencoba-coba menggunakan rokok elektrik sebesar 61,38 % (72 orang) dan yang tetap atau aktif merokok elektrik sebesar 25,29% (44 orang).  Berdasarkan hasil analisis, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi merokok elektrik pada Siswa SMA swasta di Denpasar adalah siswa yang tidak percaya merokok berbahaya terhadap kesehatan berpeluang 2,8 kali untuk merokok elektrik secara aktif dibandingkan yang percaya (95%CI 1,6-4,8). Siswa yang mempunyai keluarga merokok berpeluang 2,5 kali untuk merokok elektrik dibandingkan yang tidak punya,  serta siswa yang mempunyai teman merokok berpeluang 2,6 kali untuk merokok elektrik dibandingkan yang tidak punya. Kesimpulan: Perilaku merokok elektrik secara aktif pada siswa SMA swasta di Denpasar tergolong tinggi. Ketidakpercayaan terhadap bahaya rokok terhadap kesehatan, adanya keluarga dan teman yang merokok terbukti sebagai faktor. Untuk itu penting edukasi yang dapat meyakinkankan mereka tentang bahaya rokok elektrik dan intervensi melalui pendekatan keluarga serta teman sebaya.

Abstract

Snacks or cakes are ready-to-eat foods whose ingredients are made from glutinous rice flour and processed by food producers as ready-to-eat food for sale to the general public. Generally cakes sold added food additives, the use of food additives can be positive and negative (harmful) for the community. One of the dangerous food additives is the Rhodamin B dye. The purpose of this research is to identify Rhodamine B on cake Ku sold at Pasar Agung Peninjoan Village. Method: using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). Result: The identification shows the Rf price of the five samples 0.58, while the standard Rf is 0.70. Because the difference of Rf sample to the standard is less than 0.2.  Discussion:the five positive samples contain Rhodamine B. It is recommended to the public to always be careful in consuming food, because foods containing Rhodamine B are not good for health

Abstract

Health promotion is a process to build self  awareness to avoid of the health risk. Education about sexual risk behavior for teenagers is one of them. Education media had a function to communicate and  spread the information of  health. The education  media on sexual risk behavior for teenagers was a important thing for health promotion programe. The research pupouse are to expose and describes the form of education media on sexual risk behavior for teenagers at junior high schools in Badung Regions by using qualitaive method. The respondens are choice by purposive. The result shown that there is many form of education  media for sexual risk behavior for teenagers, wich are booklet, power poin slide, leaflet/brocure, social media, video, TV,book  and  peer.  Media that was ever used are  booklet, power poin slide, leaflet/brocure, social media and article. Media that was more used are  social media, leaflet/brocure and  power poin. There is no information about the effectivity level of  media.  The outcame of  education media for sexual risk behavior only increase cognitive aspect.  Based from  all of respondens speaks, media which is suitable are slide/power poin, leaflet/brocure, sosial media dan video.

Abstract

Personal Hygiene is  very important for prevention  diseases,  Personal Hygiene in Elderly, including hair, mouth and teeth, and genetalia. To get a good and right Personal Hygiene, needs good knowledge. The purpose of this research is to know The Influence of Education to Personal Hygiene elderly at Banjar Pemalukan Desa Peguyangan in 2017. Method :This research use One Group Pre-Post test Design. Total sample is about 43 elderly at Banjar Pemalukan Desa Peguyangan . Result : The result of the research shows that before researcher give the Personal Hygiene Education, gets 7 elderly that less knowledge about the Personal Hygiene, and 36 elderly that has enough knowledge about the Personal Hygiene. After researcher give the Personal Hygiene Education, gets 7 elderly that still enough knowledge about the Personal Hygiene and 27 elderly that has better knowledge about the Personal Hygiene. The result of the behavior after researcher give the education, 16 elderly shows good behavior personal hygiene. Discussion : Based on Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test gets p-value=0.000 means that there are an influence of Personal Hygiene Education in elderly At Banjar Pemalukan Desa Peguyangan .

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of processed rice commonly consumed by the people of Indonesia. The content of rice consists of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and water. Carbohydrates have a role as a major energy source for humans to perform its activities. People tend to prefer to consume rice in a warm environment. Rice warmers are widely used in the community is a rice cooker. The purpose of this study is to determine the carbohydrate levels in rice heated in a rice cooker with a time variation of 0; 6; 12; 18 and 24 hours. This type of research is quantitative where the data is presented without statistics and described descriptively. This study was conducted in May 2017 using a sample of rice heated in a rice cooker with variations of time. Result: Obtained carbohydrate content from time variation 0 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 18 hours and 24 hours that is 16,87%, 14,22%, 10,26%, 9,30% and 8,97%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the longer time the rice in the rice cooker, the lower the carbohydrate level. This research can be used as input matter for society to arrange healthy lifestyles in concuming carbohydrate everyday especially for diabetics is expected to not consume rice immediately after ripe, but wait a few minutes to decreas carbohydrate level.

Abstract

Ethanol is a type of alcohol that can be consumed. One of drinks containing ethanol is Arak. Due to ethanol drink containing in excessive levels, has many causes and event such as accidents caused by drunken brawl. The purpose of this research was to determine the levels of ethanol in Arak is sold in the Merita village of Karangasem regency. Determination levels of ethanol done by gas chromatography. Results of the determination of levels ethanol of 5 samples taken at random to meet the standard required by Menkes RI number  86/Menkes/Per/IV/77, alcohol group B at the rate of 5-20% is sampel ‘a’ that is at the rate of 18.47%, sample ‘c’ with the  rate of 16.11% and sampel ‘d’ with the rate 11.68%. Alcohol group C with 20-55% rate that is in the sample ‘b’ with a sample rate of 25.28% and sampel ‘e’ with the rate 25.94%.
