Abstract

A job is completed efficiently would say when lasted the shortest completion time. Measuring success of a production system in the industry are usually expressed in terms of productivity or the size of the input and output generated. Measurement standard at this time are made directly by the method stopwatch and indirectly with MOST methods (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique). Results of measurements using a standard time stop watch is 179,62 Second, with MOST measurements before the analysis is 123,73, most after the analisis is 75,25 second. Raw output using the old work is 200 Unit newspaper first hour , and use the most is the raw output of 478 Unit newspaper first hour. Seeing the results of the study suggested that the company may consider to perform the application of research results have been obtained

Abstract

Electricity demand in Indonesia is growing to encourage companies to manage resources effectively and efficiently in order to improve performance and target achievement. Analyzing the productivity index aims to determine the productivity of the benchmark electricity production in the achievement of the company. The results of this study is the productivity index of electricity production period of December 2016 every week that is 163.7, 245.2, 85.08, 57.96, while the period of January 2017 every week is 103.98, 216.18, 269.16, 162.48, ratios that affect the productivity of the production of electric power plant based on order of importance is the ratio of 1 (total production / hours of operation machine) with a weight of 3:22, a ratio of 2 (total electricity production / total number of employees) with a weight of 26.1, a ratio of 3 (the number of gas consumption / total power production) with a weight of 18:58, a ratio of 4 (total electricity consumption own / total power production) with a weight of 10:32, and a ratio of 5 (the total number of employees / number of absent workers) with a weight of 5.76, the lowest value ratio is the ratio of six (the number of hours the engine die / the number of engine operating hours) with a weight of 4:02.

Abstract

Biogas is an environmentally friendly energy. The purpose of this experiment is to find out whether it is correct, by using a cumen rumen filler starter, the fermented biogas volume will become larger (more), compared to fermented cows fesses with water but not adding starter fluid of cow rumen contents. In this experiment 4 experiments were performed with the comparison (cows fesses: water: cow rumen fluid) are (1: 2: 0), (1: 2: 1), (1: 2: 2), and (1: 2 : 3). The experiment lasts for 40 days, but within 10 days it has already produced biogas, this biogas will continue and there is reaction of asidogenesis and methanogenic reaction. From the observations made, the amount of biogas volume is also influenced by raw material ratio and fermentation time (25,80 cm3) with raw material ratio (1: 2: 2) and fermentation time for 30 days. The result of this biogas is quite significant (59.3%,) more, here the starter function is quite dominant to increase the expected biogas production

Abstract

Inventory control is an important issue which must be considered by every company. The occurrence of overstock or excess inventories led to an increase in inventory cost the same as if the stockout. PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Distrik Banyuasin is a company engaged in agriculture and processing of agricultural products such as palm oil , tea and rubber. Products covered is controlling tea products in the warehouse because of the problems that often occur in tea products . Kinds of tea products discussed namely BOP, BOPF, PF, DUST, BP, BT, PF II, DUST II, BP II, BT II, DUST III, FANN II, DUST IV. PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Distrik Banyuasin has re- ordering method is less precise so that the reorder point should be calculated. To determine the fluctuating demand in the next year with forecasting is carried WinQsb program based on the pattern of sales data. Pattern sales data for 33 months is a seasonal pattern . The total cost incurred by the company during this time with a reservation made is Rp 385 506 418 , - . Therefore , we need a method that can control the supply so as to meet the demand for timely and can reduce the total cost of inventory . The method used is Multi Item EOQ method that produces a total cost of inventory Rp 414 195 905 ,-. Because the total cost of inventory with EOQ method Multi Item is greater than the method used by the company that carried out the study with Lagrange method taking into account capacity constraints warehouse and inventory costs which resulted in a total cost of inventories Rp 257 524 800 ,- which is smaller than the methods of the company . With the Lagrange method can save a total inventory cost Rp 127 981 619 , - with a percentage of 33.2 % .

Abstract

One way to deal with it is by product development that is to make improvements, improvements or produce new products that are different from existing products. The new Product Development strives to simplify the work in effective and efficient ways. In the process of building a house there is a wall-mounting activity where the bricks are arranged with the help of cement to paste the bricks that are aimed at the brick well-arranged, but in the use of cement often seen the cement used to fall apart to the side of the brick. The process of designing and developing a product is done using a rational method that has several steps. The steps in the rational method are: Clarifying Objectives, Establishing Function, Setting Requirements, Determining Characteristics, Generating Alternatives, Evaluating Altenatives, Improving Details. In this study the authors aim to get the design of bricks spacing tool to improve the performance of artisans and improve the quality of the process that includes the skills of artisans and improve the efficiency of raw materials by testing product design and product development made by the author by comparing the data processing time before and after implementation using the help software SPSS 16.00. Result of t test by using software SPSS 16.00 got result that using tool better design in time and productivity of use of raw materials using tool design increase. Result from before using tool got productivity 40,677 after menggguakan tool got produktiviyas 42,105
