Abstract

In this discussion the modeling of a transmission system consisting of multiple machine. To maintain transient stability and reduce the oscillation of the system SVC and PSS are used. In its operation, the electric power system often experiences short circuit, both permanent and temporary. The short circuit interruption can cause deviations in electric power system variables, such as voltage, frequency, and others. This deviation can affect the stability of the electric power system. Stability in an electric power system is defined as the ability of an electric power system to maintain synchronization during interruptions as well as after disruptions occur.PSS performance is expanding the stability limits of the electric power system by providing synchronous engine rotor oscillation reduction through generator excitation. This damping is provided by the electric torque applied to the rotor in accordance with variations in speed.With Matlab/Simulink, we can examine the role of PSS and SVC in the process of reducing oscillations, changes in rotor angle and engine speed. PSS and SVC can do the damping process quickly from disturbance to stable conditions.

Abstract

Proses datangnya kebakaran selalu tanpa dapat diperkirakan dan diprediksi terlebih dahulu. Kapan datangnya, apa penyebabnya, tingkat cakupannya serta seberapa besar dampak yang ditimbulkannya, adalah hal-hal yang tidak bisa diperkirakan oleh kemampuan manusia. Perancangan sistem pengamanan kebakaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan penghuni di gedung.analisa yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengukur dan mendata suhu serta melakukan serangkaian beberapa percobaan. Suhu dilengkapi dengan satuan celcius (C) dan asap menggunakan satuan PPM (part per million). Dengan cara kerja, sensor asap dan suhu akan mendeteksi secara sendiri dan bekerja dengan baik. Dan Hal ini untuk menghindari adanya kesalahan yang diakibatkan kenaikan suhu akibat sinar matahari ataupun asap akibat rokok. Jika Sensor suhu LM35 mencapai 40 C maka suhu akan mendeteksi dan buzzer akan berbunyi led akan menyalah Dan LCD 2x16 akan menampilkan “AWAS ADA ASAP”. Jika Asap mencapai dari 600 ke atas sensor asap akan mendeteksi dan buzzer akan berbunyi, lampu led akan menyala lalu di LCD 2x16 akan menampilkan “AWAS ADA KEBAKARAN”.

Abstract

Electricity is a very important requirement for life. The need for electrical energy has been dependent on fossil energy, while the availability of fossil energy is decreasing along with the increasing demand for electricity in the community, especially in Siman Village, Lamongan. To overcome this problem, many sources of energy substitutes for fossil energy have been developed and researched in the form of renewable energy sources, one of which is the source of solar energy. One of the applications of solar energy utilization is a solar cell. The proposed solar cell uses Photovoltaic (PV) 1500 WP as energy conversion. PV produces power that is volatile or erratic. So it requires Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) so that PV works at its optimum point. MPPT can find the greatest power from PV using the Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm. The converter used is a SEPIC converter which functions to increase or decrease the voltage without changing the polarity of the resulting voltage. Furthermore, the MPPT P&O is compared the results with the MPPT Incremental Conductance (IC) as a comparison of the results of the average MPPT power.

Abstract

Pembangunan gedung semakin bertambah di Universitas Islam Lamongan, salah satu gedung yang baru adalah Rumah Susun Mahasiswa (Rusunawa).Dalam pengembangan dan perluasan area gedung perlu adanya perencanan sistem distribusi yang baik,tidak hanya bertitik tolak kepada kebutuhan beban sesaat, tetapi diperhitungkan pula secara teliti beban yang dilayani. Beban tersebut harus dalam keadaan seimbang. Beban yang digunakan pada gedung tersebut antara lain berupa perangkat-perangkat kerja, maka dalam sistem instalasi listrik perlu diperhatikan pembagian beban tiap grup. Dengan begitu tidak akan terjadi droppada tegangan listrik.Analisa instalasi listrik pada gedung Rusunawa Universitas Islam Lamongan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jumlah efisiensi beban yang terpasang pada Rusunawa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah efisiensi pembagian beban pada gedung Rusunawa di Universitas Islam Lamongan sebesar 24,7 %, artinya terdapat penghematan pemakaian tenaga listrik.

Abstract

Research design of automatic traffic light control based on ATMega328 microcontroller with proximity sensor aims to get a control system that can be used to reduce congestion at intersections that have a traffic light system.The method of in this study are qualitative and experimental methods.  The trial of process  done by testing the infrared sensor.  The infrared sensor test results obtained an average value of 16 seconds and the average value of the light dependert resistor sensor 66 seconds. Result of this study are that the design design model is useful in the use of infrared waiting time stability 16 seconds - 20 seconds while the light dependert resistor is 66 seconds 70 seconds in the traffic light system.

Abstract

A steady control system is carried out through optimal design and also using estimation theory, controls designed for process models generally work well, but also sometimes experience failure in a system.The most important thing in the feedback control test model is to improve the robustness performance of the system. Strong control systems make it possible to determine more or less directly the uncertainty of a system, and make it possible to predict possible trade-offs between robustness and closed-loop performance.

Abstract

This research is based on the exploration of renewable energy utilization by utilizing the potential of cow livestock waste in cattle farm area as a raw material of biogas energy using the green technology concept. The results of this research show that: (1) the performance of  biogas power plant with 115 cattle population producting: 25 kg/day cow waste for each cow in average, 2.857 kg/day cow waste in average for the total population, biogas potency 23 m3/day, methane potency 12,006874 m3/day, total solid 4,83 kg/cow/day, total solid percentage 0,168 %, volatile solid 437 kg/day, and volatile solid percentage 0,152 %, (2) The efficiency of biogas power plant potency of 23 m3/day can be converted into the generated electric energy equal to 1,0005 KWh, 220 W of power flame within 5 hours. Therefore, the power generated from biogas power plant is 1 KWh.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to determine the condition of the power flow (active and reactive power), the voltage of each channel (bus) under normal operating conditions, and the power loss (losses) of each bus at the Block 1 PLTGU PT. PJB Gresik Generating Unit. The method used to analyze the power flow is Forward Backward Sweep by forming a BIBC and BCBV matrix, where the results of the analysis will be compared with the results of the simulation. From the results of comparison of calculations and simulation of power flow obtained active power (P) of 1% and reactive power (Q) of 1.76%. The biggest voltage drop on bus 5 is 7% and is a critical bus condition, because the voltage drop is ± 5% of the nominal voltage. The largest value of power losses is on bus 4 with an active power of 1.14% and a reactive power of 0.5%. Whereas for other bus conditions such as bus 2 including marginal bus conditions, bus 3 with bus 6 are critical bus conditions, because each bus has a voltage drop of ± 5% of nominal voltage.

Abstract

Provinsi Lampung merupakan salah satu pulau terbesar di Indonesia. Energi merupakan salah satu faktor sebuah negara atau daerah dapat berkembang. Energi dapat berupa listrik, minyak, dan lain lain. Penyediaan energi di masa depan merupakan faktor kunci menentukan kebijakan umum pada pemerintah.Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proyeksi penggunaan energi terbarukan sesuai dengan arah kebijakan energi nasional. Data yang digunakan adalah  produk domestic regional bruto, konsumsi listrik, konsumsi bahan bakar minyak, dan indikator energi lainnya. Pada penelitian ini meggunakan LEAP untuk memodelkan dan memprediksi kebutuhan energi pada tahun 2025.

Abstract

There are several areas in Probolinggo District where accidents often occur because the location of the existing road is indeed very dangerous, because of sharp turns or because of the heavy traffic on the road, this problem can be reduced by giving messages through the Android mobile application. The number of accidents that occur in various places with the time of the incident in the district of Probolinggo can be obtained at the Office of Transportation. The purpose of this research is to create an GIS android application that can provide information about maps of accident-prone areas in Probolinggo Regency. The method used is using a spiral. With stages, Planning, Risk Analysis, Product Engineering, Evaluation by users. Information about traffic accident-prone locations is very much needed by the community, transportation department and law enforcement in this case the police. Android-based Geographic Information System as an appropriate tool to be applied in this case because it uses the Mapping location of accident-prone areas and will, sending messages (danger message), in the form of user distance from accident-prone locations.
