Abstract

Contruction expanded rapidly and spread in Lamongan, from fairly simple residential contractor to large developer continuing to explore in building construction. This research aims to know the comparative costs of wall job using material white brick and red brick based on analysis of a contractor with the methodof 2017 SNI job and time of wall job white brick  and red brick per m2 using method Daily Record Sheet that is by direct observation and recording work time couples wall field. The result of the research conducted is found the cost of work required for couples wallwhite stone per m2 using analysis of contractor is Rp. 66.020,-/m2 and a pairof red brick wall is Rp. 75.020,-/m2. The cost of the work required for the pair of wall stone kumbung per m2 based on SNI method 2017 is Rp. 109.910,-/m2 and pair of red brick wall is Rp. 113.100,-/m2. After the comparison then it can be inferred that the couple wall using white brick cheaper than the pair of red brick wall, but the difference is not too significant is Rp 9,000,-per m2 with contractor method and IDR 3,190,-per m2using SNI 2017method. The time it takes to complete the job of couple wall using red brick per m2 is 0.445 hours/m2, whereas the time required on the job of couple wall using white brick is 0.324 hours/m2. So the job of  the couple wall using white brick more efficient 0.121 hours/m2 compared with red brick wall.

Abstract

Increasing the population, the number of vehicles,  and activities in Gresik Town causing social and economic problems that are highly dependent on road transport. These problems arise because of the imbalance problems such as the high volume of traffic and the increasing number of people  living  along  the  Gubernur  Suryo  Road.  The  method  used  in  this  research  is  descriptive study. This method used to look for the amount of capacity and degree of saturation that affect the activities on this road. Data collection techniques using observation and geometric data. While the flow of vehicles using MKJI 1997 method. From the effectiveness side, the road capacity is smaller than planned capacity due to the side barriers and the growth rate of the vehicle in line with the population increase. From the identification of problems, volumes of traffic is high, amounted 2969 smp/hour. Performance of road being dropped LOS = 1.91 (F), due to the high volume of traffic that passing through this road is not comparable with the capacity (1548.36 smp/hour) and Degree of Saturation (DS) greatly affects the traffic flow on Gubernur Suryo Road of = 1.91 smp/hour. The high  delay  and  side  barrier  amounted  317  smp/hour.  Side  barrier  can  be  resulted  from  the calculation  of  total  amount  divided  by  the  capacity,  the  result  is  0,20  smp/hour.  It  affects  the smoothness  of  traffic  flow  because  the  density  of  traffic  and  intersection  of  roads  are  not  well planned, where the distance of each t-junction is quite far one another. Traffic engineering is used to solve the traffic jam problems on the Gubernur Suryo Road and along the market road. It is expected that the government can curb the tricycles parking and vehicles along the road so that traffic jam can be resolved soon.

Abstract

Road is the land transportation that has an important role to facilitate all human activities, while tropical climate condition such as in Indonesia causes damage to the road. To engineer the hot asphalt mixture in order to have high durability, especially in Type IV Asphalt Concrete, it needs additional material to it, such as roadcel-50 cellulose fiber. However, it is considered not economical because the cellulose fiber made by the factory is quite expensive. Therefore, the researcher wants to replace it with water hyacinth fiber obtained from the river in the area of Dinoyo, Deket District, Lamongan Regency that not yet widely utilized. The mixing process of Type IV Asphalt Concrete with water hyacinth additional material starts from preparing the tools and materials, making the simple water hyacinth fiber, examining the stacking materials (including examining the coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and asphalt), making Job Mix Formula of Tipe IV Asphalt Concerete and making the test objects of Type IV Asphalt Concerete. From the results of Marshall Test, the researcher analyzed the results with regression analysis. The results obtain 6 characteristics that meet the standard with water hyacinth mixing, those are marshall stability of voids mineral aggregate, voids in mix, density, flow, and marshall quotient with the addition of an ideal water hyacinth fiber variation of  0,02% - 0,06%. While on the voids filled with asphalt test on Marshall Test obtained the result that does not meet the requirements, but it does not matter to the whole result.

Abstract

Granite waste is generated at the time of processing the granite rock that is not utilized, it can be also a rest – the rest of the project. Utilization of waste material roughness to granite road is one way to reduce the waste of the granite. This research aims to know the benefits of waste granite coarse aggregate as substitute against marshall on the mix characteristic laston or AC-b. ingredients used include: Semen Gresik brand Filler, sand purchased from stores building in Kediri, Grey stone which in may from Winongsari Grogol, corals that are purchased from shops in Kediri, Asphalt comes from Pertamina, granite Waste obtained from the project. Mix laston or AC-L with granite rock waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate using a variation of 10%, 20%, and 30%. The results of this research it is known that the use of granite waste can enhance the characteristics of Marshall. Mix the waste with best laston granite aggregate as substitute coarse waste levels obtained at 20%, with the following results: Marshall Stability 1050.67 kg, Melting/4.00 mm Flow, Marshall Quotient 262.67 mm.

Abstract

Concrete is the most common construction material in use and demand because it is an easily formed base material with a relatively cheap price compared to other construction. The utilization of waste powder of white brick on the concrete mixture is very useful in terms of environmental insight aspects can reduce pollution of dust in the area where the white brick is produced. In addition, the use of white brick powder can reduce environmental pollution because the dust is a solid material that is not easily soluble and not volatile. This research was done by mixing concrete and powder of white brick waste as cement added material with the composition of 5% and 10%. The highest value of compressive strength of concrete was obtained from the mixture composition of 5% addition of white brick waste which reached the value of 18,20 Mpa at age 28 day. While the mixture composition of 10% decreased the compressive strength of concrete by 16.07%.

Abstract

Pavingblock is one of the building material is used asthe top layer of the road structure other than asphalt or concrete. Today, many consumer preferring paving blocks compared to other pavement such as concrete or asphalt. That effort to improve the properties of the less good than paving blocks (eg, less tensile strength and brittle nature) can be done by adding fiber to mixing. One of the natural fiber used are banana midrib fiber, the use of banana midrib fiber as composite materialis a good step to reduce the pile of banana skins were strewn in the garden and also to raise the economic value of banana. The test object to be created is a test object with a mixture of 1: 3 with FAS 0.30 by compaction use manual / conventional, manufacture of each test specimens 3 pieces of normal test specimen without additives followed by paving block with material added together banana midrib fiber from 1% - 5% of the weight of cement used. Results of each - each of specimens have been tested for compressive strength of the test specimen normal to the specimen with additional fiber material as much as 5%. Averages compressive strength calculation results in a sequence of test specimens N, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5%, ie 224.20 kg / cm2, 192.73 kg / cm2, 119.97 kg / cm2, 98.33 kg / cm2, 78.67 kg / cm2, and 72.77 kg / cm2.

Abstract

Bertambahnya volume pengguna jalan yang kian padat setiap tahunnya, maka perlu penambahan kapasitas jalan agar mampu menampung jumlah kendaraan yang semakain padat ini. Namun dengan menambah kapasitas pada ruas jalan karena adanya penambahan volume kendaraan ini, mengakibatkan beban yang harus ditopang oleh jalan itu semakin besar. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan kali ini dengan adanya bahan adictive yakni bubuk silicasebagai material perkerasan jalan campuran beraspal, guna mengetahui kelayakan penggunaan limbah tak terpakai ini. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental di laboratorium. Kinerja campuran beraspal ditentukan berdasarkan daya dukung campuran berdasarkan parameter stabilitas dan volumetrik dengan metode Marshall (SNI 06- 2489-1991) dengan 30 benda uji dari penambahan bubuk silica sejumlah 3%, 5%, 7%, 10% dan 12%  dari berat benda uji dengan kadar aspal 4%, 5%, 6%, 7% dan 8%. Setelah serangkaian uji laboratorium didapatkan kandungan kadar aspal optimum pada penambahan kombinasi bubuk silica3% sebesar 6%. Dengan rincian hasil rata-rata nilai Stabilitas 1186kg, Flow 4,17mm, dan MQ 286 kg/mm.

Abstract

Lamongan is a developing city, as well as its development sector. Either simple or high technology development cannot avoid the workplace accidents risk. Therefor, implementing safety and health management is very important because it can create a good and safe working environment. However,it will not work if there is no commitment from all parties involved in the project. The purpose of this study is to assess the application of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) management system.This study uses questionnaire data. The respondents are from the employers of Lamongan District Office building project. This study uses SPSS program and uses validity and reliability test.The result of this research is that the project has implemented K3 well, although there are still some obstacles to its implementation. From the questionnaire result, it proves that more than 50% of the respondents choose to agree with the statement in the questionnaire submitted by the researcher. The test questionnaire is valid and reliable with Cronbach Alpha ranging from 0.617-0.867 which means greater than 0.60.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the road construction has experienced a fairly good development. From a wide range of road constructions, flexible pavement is the most chosen one because its characteristics: easy, fast, and efficient. However, flexible pavement has many weaknesses, for example the premature damage on the road surface after some time passed by the traffic so that the road cannot reach the planned age. For that, it is done a research to add a hot asphalt mixture material that aims to improve the quality of the mixture results. The selected ingredient is natural water hyacinth. The method used is trial and error with reference of SNI 03-1737-1989. Variations used are 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of the asphalt weight, asphalt level used is 5.72 %. Of the 5 variations of mixture used on Type XI Asphalt Concrete Layer, it is obtained the result that the water hyacinth fiber level which has the best score and meet the specifications of SNI 03-1737-1989 is on the percentage of 6% which obtained from calculation data using graphs and regression model where Marshall Stability is equal to 644,46 Kg, flow 3,39 mm, VMA (voids in the mineral aggregate) is equal to 13,83 %, VFWA (voids filled with asphalt) is equal to 65,35%, VIM (voids in the mix) is equal to 2,52 %, density of 2.31 gr/cc, and Marshall Quotient of 164.03 Kg / mm.

Abstract

Concrete is a mixture of concrete forming materials, namely: fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, cement, and water. Each concrete construction always be able to show its function, ie strength and endurance during the planned life. Therefore, in this research concrete treatment is known to increase the concrete but also need to know how long the concrete treatment is good Only requires water from the loss of water experienced. Thus the research is conducted to find out how much the influence of curing process uses sea water, PDAM sewage toward to the strength of concrete press. This research was conducted with the use of 3 types of water that is water PDAM, sea water, sewage. Cylindrical tests specimen with diameter 15 cm and height 30 cm. Each sample is made of 3 specimens by the age of 7 days. The value of compressive strength in PDAM water, seawater, sewage successively at the age of 7 days is 13,522 MPa, 8,759 MPa, 10,296 MPa. The value of compressive strength of Water PDAM at 7 days has increased compared to the compressive strength value of seawater and sewage, while the value of compressive strength of seawater has decreased compared to the rising sewage. So it can be concluded that the value of the highest compressive strength is water PDAM at the age of 7 days.
