Abstract

Health problem faced is health service of elderly and elderly with age 45 years old and above who get health service according to health standard either at community health centers or in integrated service post elderly group that is equal to 63,26%. This coverage still does not meet the target of 75%. Elderly Family Development and Youth Family Development is an active community organization implemented monthly, all within the reproductive age range, pre menopause and menopause. Participants are still in the reproductive and pre-elderly age range, so it still needs care and service family planning and healthy reproduction. Output target of this activity is the examination of blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid as detection of Diabetes Militus disease, koleterol, gout and monitoring with control card of examination result. Improve Communication, Information and education about reproductive health and elderly health. The results of examination with necso tool in Elderly Family Development and Youth Family Development as a whole that is high blood pressure value 57 mother (36,31%), high blood sugar counted 8 mother (5,1%), high uric acid 52 mother (33,12%) and high cholesterol counted 14 mothers (8,92%). Knowledge before information about the highest reproduction health is less knowledge as much as 22 mothers (46,81%), after done the highest information is good knowledge as many as 21 mothers (44,68%). Knowledge before information about the highest health of elderly is knowledge of less than 49 mother (44,55%), after done the highest information is good knowledge as much 48 mother (43,64%).

Abstract

Family centered maternity care (FCMC) activity in high-risk pregnancy is one of the high risk screening / early detection of family-based pregnant women because it gets full support and involvement from all family members. This activity aims to improve the ability of the family as a companion of pregnant women in suppressing maternal mortality. With the introduction of Family Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) activities, family knowledge and ability in early detection and promotive efforts in high-risk pregnancy cases increases. With family awareness and ability to monitor pregnant women's health, it can make it easier for cadres and midwives to make early detection of pregnancy at risk.??

Abstract

Great kids need to have healthy behaviors. Instinctively children love snack and more interested in snacks with various color and taste. Ironically these days children's snacks become a problem that needs the attention of the public, because the snacks are at risk of contamination by biological or chemical contaminants that can interfere with health, both short and long term. The purpose of community service is to improve the knowledge and skills in hand washing and choosing healthy snacks. This devotional activity is conducted one day in the form of an interactive discussion with the material about choosing healthy snacks, demonstrations and redemontration handwashing way. Based on observations during community service activities, some positive results were obtained, such as: 1). The participants are enthusiastic about the material 2). The participants were active in the question and answer session and half more enthusiastic participants demonstrated hand washing. The result is the improvement of knowledge and skill of participants related to choosing healthy snacks and hand washing. The conclusion of this activity is education with interactive discussion, demonstration and redemonstration able to improve the knowledge and skill of children about hand washing and choosing healthy snacks.

Abstract

Kehamilan adalah masa ketika ada berbagai perubahan. Perubahan-perubahan ini dapat terjadi secara fisiologis, tetapi mereka juga dapat menjadi potologis. Oleh karena itu, identifikasi faktor risiko selama kehamilan dan layanan berkelanjutan memainkan peran penting dalam mengurangi angka kematian ibu. Salah satu bentuk kerja sama lintas sektoral dari sektor pendidikan dan kesehatan adalah menjadi fasilitator yang diharapkan dapat mendorong agen perubahan dalam masyarakat, terutama dalam mengurangi angka kematian ibu. Tujuan: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemeriksaan dan pendidikan bagi wanita hamil tentang faktor risiko selama kehamilan dan persiapan persalinan untuk keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sasaran kegiatan adalah ibu hamil di Desa Pangkah Karangdadap Kecamatan Pekalongan. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, terutama tentang faktor risiko dan persiapan persalinan untuk pemberian ASI eksklusif. Metode: Yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pemeriksaan laboratorium, ceramah, dan diskusi. Pembicara dalam kegiatan ini adalah tim dosen STIKES Muhammadiyah Pekajangan dan Bidan di Desa Pangkah. Abstract

Background: Management of end-stage renal failure patients one of the treatments is hemodialysis. Complications that arise with respect to fluid overload in patients with kidney failure can be prevented through effective and efficient fluid intake restrictions. Efforts to create restrictions on fluid intake in patients with kidney failure can be done through monitoring fluid intake per day. Fluid restriction program in patients in order to prevent complications and maintain quality of life, it is necessary to analyze practices related to intervention in controlling the amount of fluid intake through recording the amount of fluid taken and urine released every day. Pojok Balance Cairan (BACA) is one way to help hemodialysis patients learn how to calculate fluid needs in their body and help determine dietary settings for hemodialysis patients where in the reading corner will be explained related to how to calculate fluid balance and how the right diet in patients hemodialysis according to the severity of the disease. Method of implementation: lectures and demonstrations. Conclusion: POJOK BACA can prolong the life of patients undergoing hemodialysis because it can reduce the risk of complications that arise such as shortness of breath.Keywords: Hemodialysis, Liquid, Pojok Baca

Abstract

Health development aims to improve the degree of public health. The degree of public health is determined by behavioral factors. To support efforts to improve healthy behaviors, the national vision of health promotion is "Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS)." The child is our hope for the future. Adverse community behavior or lifestyles that can damage the public order in the health sector, can start from the behavior of individuals, families or the behaviors of society and school-age children. The purpose of this activity is to know the effect of health education on awareness, knowledge of PHBS and skills about hand washing and correct way of brushing. Based on observations found 60% of students seen snack in the open and using food preservatives, 75.5% of students did not wash hands before and after meals, 62.2% of students experienced dental caries as much as 67.7% of students frequent diarrhea as much as 58% and 54.8% of students are long and dirty nails. Lack of awareness of clean life behavior in elementary school age children is due to lack of socialization about the importance of clean living in school by health workers. Health education activities conducted on May 14, 2016, appropriate and targeted goals are school age students in Elementary School 2, Tugu, Jumantono Karanganyar with health education methods with lecture and demonstration techniques. After this activity is expected to increase student awareness level about PHBS in school.??

Abstract

The incidence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is quite high especially in school children 54.89% Herbal products are currently becoming the main alternative for young women who want to reduce the pain in dysmenorrhea without side effects. Target and the resulting Output is Increased knowledge teenagers about the benefits of ginger against decreased disminore. The method used in the partner group, namely by counseling. Achieved Results: There is an increase in adolescent knowledge that includes knowledge about menstruation, disminore and red ginger benefits. Teenagers know that the content of calcium and vitamin C in red ginger is useful to soothe the nerves and reduce the pain and components of red ginger such as gingerol, shogaol and zingerone give pharmacological and physiological effects such as antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticarcinogenic, non-toxic and non-mutagenic albeit at high concentrations. Conclusion: Provision of information about the benefits of red ginger to decrease disminore is needed for adolescents who experience disminore.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kecelakaan merupakan kejadian yang tidak terduga dan diharapkan. Kecelakaan dapat terjadi di Rumah Tangga yang merupakan hal yang tidak diharapkan, karena peristiwa kecelakaan dapat disertai kerugian material apabila tidak mengetahui penanganan yang tepat sebelum dibawa ke pusat pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan pelatihan perawatan luka sederhana adalah untuk memberikan informasi tentang penanganan sederhana jika terjadi kecelakaan di rumah tangga. Serta melatih kemampuan ibu-ibu dalam melakukan perawatan luka secara sederhana sebelum dibawa ke pusat pelayanan kesehatan. Metode Pelaksanaan: Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan dan mendemonstrasikan cara perawatan luka sederhana. Hasil dari kegiatan ini peserta aktif dalam mengkuti kegiatan dan mampu mempraktekkan dalam memberikan perawatan luka secara sederhana. Kesimpulan: pelatihan perawatan luka sederhana ini dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan redemonstrasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam melakukan perawatan luka sederhana.?

Abstract

Early warning information system of pregnancy risk can be used to pregnant women and health care provider detection.? Early warning information system of pregnancy risk is useful to assist the health care provider an effort to enhance objectiveness early conclusion/diagnosis obtained. In addition, this information is useful for pregnant women and families to detect early pregnancy and risk factors can also be used to prepare for childbirth and safe motherhood. The objective of this public service is introducing application of early warning information system of pregnancy risk based of web to the public (pregnant women) at Menanggal Village - City of Surabaya. The method with lectures, demonstrations and practical. Results achieved increased knowledge of pregnant women about application of early warning information system of pregnancy risk. Evaluation of pregnant women obtained that features the application? of interesting, easy to understand, easy to use and responsive to complaints of pregnant women because there is room on the menu consultation. Dissemination and use of such application must be sustainability.Key Word : Dissemination, Information System, Early Warning, Pregnancy Risk.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries in the world, it is shown by the increasing number of industries that grow from time to time. Solo Baru is one of the areas in the city of Sukoharjo which recently experienced a very rapid growth. The modern lifestyle adopted by the majority of Indonesian society makes it possible for a disorder of work-related diseases such as routine activities in the printing book of Ar Risalah Cipta Media ?like a sitting position, long standing and excessive activities with a non-ergonomic position to the factor of back pain or better known as low back pain, this can be a serious problem if you do not get the right services and counseling. Method of Implementation: lectures and demontration. Conclusion: the employees at the printing book Ar Risalah Cipta Media? understand the procedure of treating lower back pain and understand the bad effect if lower back pain is not handled properly which will have an impact on body productivity in work.?
