Abstract

In formulating the goals of Islamic education, we must first know the nature of humans which will be the benchmark in formulating the goals of Islamic education, besides that, the view of life also becomes an influence in formulating educational goals so that with different views, the goals are different. In this paper, the author's view of life is Islam so that what the author conveys is all based on the author's view. The essence of the purpose of Islamic education is to make humans have hearts of faith and piety to God Almighty, so that in Islam the heart is the most special human element and must receive special treatment so that the heart develops into a good heart. In order for the heart to develop into a kind heart, it must contain kindness. God is the highest good. Therefore, in order for the heart to be kind, it must contain God so that God becomes king in that heart. When God has become king and fills the heart, then the heart will be good. Such a heart will be able to control humans in their every action. Faith is in the heart, not in the mind and others, when the heart is filled with faith, then the heart is only God, automatically that person's memory is only God and cannot be separated from remembering God, this condition is called dhikrullah

Abstract

This study focuses on discussing Islamic education and its urgency for leadership in Muslim society, through exploring the meaning of education, leadership and human nature in depth and comprehensively, then revealing the urgency of education for leadership in Muslim society. This research uses library research method with qualitative content analysis technique. This study resulted in three conclusions; 1) Humans have a nature that is able to organize and control themselves and even the universe, because that nature is a divine potential that is only given by God to humans; 2) Education in Islam is not limited to formal, non-formal and informal education, Islamic education is wider than that, as evidenced by QS al-Alaq: 1-5 which was chosen as the first revelation to the Prophet. In addition to hinting at Islam's main concern for education, the verse also implies that knowledge is not limited; 3) leadership in Islam is something that cannot be separated from humans. At least humans become leaders for themselves. Leadership is ingrained in him and needs to be developed by unlimited education.

Abstract

This article explores how multicultural education at the Indonesian Islamic primary and secondary education levels and its implementation is investigated by scholars in the country. The research questions in this article are formulated in two questions, namely 1) How is the concept of multicultural education in Islamic educational institutions defined in the last six years (2016-2021)? 2) How is the implementation of multicultural education in various aspects of education at primary and secondary Islamic educational institutions in this period? This research utilizes the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method which is considered very helpful for this research model because it requires three stages, namely planning (planning), conduct (conducting), and reporting (reporting). As a result, 89 data articles have been presented by scholars in discussing multicultural education in Islamic primary-secondary education institutions throughout this period. In detail, 33 articles were found that were considered relevant to the research question, of which 21 data articles discussed the translation of concepts or discourses about multicultural education and 11 other data were more focused on analyzing multicultural education in Islamic education at the implementation level. Thus, multicultural education in Islamic educational institutions has become a topic that has attracted a lot of study by Indonesian scholars in the last six years.
