Abstract

Pasar Bengkulu region has the level of high population and located along the coast of zakat so that the majority of livelihood population in this area were fishermen. Sanitation in these coastal regions are less good, this looks a litter of garbages on the yard, drainage channel does not flows, and some homes that dispose is to the yard. This research aims to make the draft design integrated wastewater treatment. The method used to spread the questionnaire. A simple statistical analysis is used to make social analysis of the public about the level of education that affect the level of knowledge of citizens about sanitation. Social analysis results showed that the level of education affect lack of knowledge residents about wastewater and sanitation. Based on discharge waste obtained design of wastewater treatment integrated consisting of dividing tub fats and oils as to dimensions 3mx4mx2m, equalization tub 4 m x 4.8 m x 2 m, anaerobic contactor tub 8.5mx4mx2m, aerobic contactor tub 2.5 x 2 m x 2 m and media bed 2.9mx4mx2m, disposition of late 3mx4mx2m with a thick wall of 20 cm and concrete quality K275. This portion of processed water or everything can be thrown into a body of water. Based on the results of the analysis needs a socialization in importance of sanitation

Abstract

Padang Guci Hulu Subdistrict has potential to meet the needs of sizeable water supply. It is supported by geographical location of Padang Guci Hulu Subdistrict which is in the tropical region where there are hight enough rainfall. However in general the problem arising in Padang Guci Hulu Subdistrict during dry season is the availability of raw water and irrigation water that very limited. The purpose of this research is to design a strong and safe dam body construction againts its stability control. Planning dam body uses design flood from synthetic hydrograph gamma I with a return period 1000 years of 224,66 meter3/second. This dam isplanned as high as 31,3 meter, with dam base elevation of + 405 meter, peak elevation + 436,30 meter, high surveillance 2,8 meter, the width of the dam crest 8,5 meter, upstream sloop 1 : 3, downstream sloop 1 : 2,25. The body design of the Air Padang Guci Dam has qualified for its stability control.

Abstract

Sedimentation in estuaries due to deposition of sediment material by geomorphological process that work. It is therefore necessary to study geomorphological process in order to provide an overview of the mechanisms of sedimentation (the process of sediment transport and deposition of material) that occurred. To determine the geomorphology of the most dominant influence on sedimentation in estuaries, the sediment grain size analysis was performed with a statistical approach, then making the relationship between sediment grain size distribution with populations of sediment occurs. In this study used dataestuary sediment grain size of Banyuasin river taken at three points on the mouth of the river estuary. The analysis showed that the dominant geomorphological process influence on sedimentation in the estuary of Banyuasin is fluvial process, where the transport and deposition of sediment carried by the power flow of the river. This is reflected in the values of statistics and sediment populations. The resulting statistical value indicates the condition of energy (power flow) which produces sediment at this location is relatively large, tend to be unstable and fluctuate rapidly. Sedimentary material that was found is dominated by saltation population, and population of suspension amount is less than 20%. This scale indicates that the river flow velocity of Banyuasin is large enough, so the population of saltation carried in large numbers to and deposited at the mouth of the estuary. Meanwhile, the finer particles (suspension population) will be led further into the sea. Population such conditions describes the characteristic of sediment grain size distribution in the fluvial environment of deposition.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of bamboo fiber addition and 10 % fine aggregate replacement with the mixture of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) and Sea-Shell Ash (SSA) toward the tensile strength of concrete. Bamboo fiber was used to add tensile strength in the matrix of concrete. The samples prepared were 21 cylinders, in which three samples of normal concrete were compared with 3 samples from each percentage of bamboo fiber (0.25% and 0.5%). The mixture of RHA and SSA was also divided into three different percentages i,e : 65:35 ; 50:50 and 35:65. The dimension of specimen is 15 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height. The specimen were cast and immersed in the soaking bath to be tested on day 28 in reference to the standard SK. SNI 03-2491-2002. The graph shows that, 0,5% addition of bamboo fiber with mixture of RHA and SSA 35:65, has the higher tensile strength than normal concrete (16%).

Abstract

This research purpose to know about people behavior in build permanent house,which see from house foundation reference on the concept of endure earthquake house. This observation have done with the way whice propagated quisioner amount 50 sheet to respondent (craftsman or own house) who building house. This way to find information about building the house. This research have done in North Bengkulu and Middle Bengkulu with took sample in six kecamatan are Air Besi, Arga Makmur, Karang Tinggi, Kerkap,Lais and Pondok Kelapa. This research produced information that making foundation to permanent house building still enough to fill. The concept of endure earthquake house. Because of that,we need a way from goverment in those region,acedemic and all of people to give information about how need build of house appropriate with the concept of endure earthquake house, because Bengkulu province is a earthquake area

Abstract

Portland cement is a relatively expensive type of cement when used on constructions requiring simple requirements. Local material utilization using ash fragments of coral reefs and rice husk ash is one of the solutions. The objectives of this study is to determine the value of concrete compressive strength in each variation of cement replacement used were 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%, each variation consists of 70% ash fragment of coral reefs and 30% rice husk ash from the volume of cement used. The cube specimen with a size of (15x15x15) cm as many as 20 specimen were prepared. Concrete mixture according to SNI 03-2834-2000 used 0.5 cement water ratio and 60-100 mm of slump. The result of the compressive strength of concrete variation every percentage increase has increased and decreased from the result of the normal concrete compressive strength of 368.24 kg/cm2. Maximum increase occurred in the concrete compressive strength variation 7.5% of 384.76 kg/cm2 and decreased on the concrete compressive strength variation 10% of 367.40 kg/cm2.

Abstract

This research purposed to determine the total porosity (?) and permeability (k) of cracks result of the earthquake of 2000 years in the road of Dendam lake Bengkulu. Porosity and permeability calculations performed using the model Lattice Gas Automata (LGA) which implemented with Delphi 7.0 programming language. From the results of the calculation data, obtained that the cracks that have the greatest permeability obtained for cracks 3 with permeability values (k) is 10,115704 pixel 2 tot, and total porosity (?) for cracks 3 is 0,108565. While the cracks that have the smallest permeability obtained in the cracks 2 with permeability values (k) is 1.138247 pixel 2 tot, and total porosity (?tot) for cracks 2 is 0,087898. Simulation of fluid flow at the time of running data for a small porosity causing the collision of fluid flow models of LGA are becoming more frequent, there for causing the permeability is decreases. Otherwise, for a big porosity causing the collision of fluid model of LGA are becoming less frequent, there for causing the permeability is increases.

Abstract

Hybridity in the context of urban planning, connecting people and activities at points of more than one region with high-intensity movement through path affirmation and linking areas to create a city space with hybrid / cohesive compilations. No exception is the development of a compact transit area and support for transit activities, it needs to be linked with a pedestrianfriendly roadnetwork to local destinations in the form of commercial venues, workplaces, open spaces and housing with the effort to hybridize two transit areas in one more transit area development complexity. The result of research obtained by hybridity of staticun area of Solobalapan and Terminal of Tirtonadi at this time is high (score 5,5) with aspect of forming of transit area that has dominant impact on regional hybridity is diversity variable.

Abstract

Planning the design of building foundations depend on the results of soil investigation. Soil parameters used in the foundation design can be obtained from the results of ground investigation field or laboratory testing. Field investigation of soil that are commonly used to study the behavior and deformation of elastic stiffness and undrained shear strength is the Plate Bearing Test. In this research, soil investigation by Plate Bearing Test and interpretation of the results of investigations done to determine foundation design parameters of power plant building in West Java. Investigations carried out on three-point spread in the location of power plant . the results of plate bearing test are load-settlement curves. Then, analysis of parameters of the investigation done to obtain design parameters of power plant building foundations. The results showed that the subgrade modulus, elastic modulus and undrained shear strength at each point varies with the range of values are 994.77 ton/m3 to 1634.49 ton/m3, 297.57 ton/m3 to 488.94 ton/m2, 0.22 ton/m2 to 0.66 ton/m2. It can be concluded occur inconsistency of subgrade layer at this location. The results of this investigation can then be used as foundation design parameters in the planning of power plant building. For a more conservative design, soil parameters with the smallest value can be used as foundation design parameters.

Abstract

Parking on the road body is one of the causes of traffic congestion, therefore the handling of parking on the road becomes very important and has a positive impact on solving traffic congestion problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parking vehicles on the road body on the performance of the Mahoni Street in Bengkulu City. Data collection methods and techniques include road geometric surveys, traffic volume surveys, side barriers and speed surveys. To get the data in this study is done by recording the state of the road and calculating the number of vehicles that cross the road through the recording.Data generated at peak hours in the form of a capacity of 1544,076 smp/hour traffic volume of 1281.2 sm / hour with a degree of saturation of 0.83 is at the level ofservice D which means approaching an unstable current, low speed. DS value is above the degree of saturation required by MKJI, namely DS <0.75. It is necessary to do alternative countermeasures by moving the parkinglocated on Mahoni Street resulting in a capacity of 2218.5 smp/hour and a saturation degree of 0.50 with level ofservice C which means that the current is stable and the speed is controlled by traffic.
