Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the development of the increase in the country's militarybudget in the context of humanity and see it in a modern face of humanitarian world perspective.This article argues that there is a significant influence from the increase in the state's militarybudget on existing humanitarian issues. The increase in a country's military budget has at least twoimpacts, namely domestic and international impacts. Abstract

Abstract: Sense of Place is related to emotional relationships born from the interaction betweenhumans and places. The game was born as a public space involving the interpretation of the ownerof the place, views or perceptions of reality outside the game. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfareshows the existence of coherent elements of place including physical settings, images and meaningsof the game. This research shows that physical settings in the game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfarehave strong relevance between images in real-life games outside the game. Relevance is arrangedwith excellent detail so that it makes players easier to assemble imaginations that are identical toeveryday life. The aspects of the image generated in the game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare arearranged very precisely through a combination of visual appearance and strong narration. Theinterpretation order in this game is inseparable from the existence of games as one of the idealcommunication channels to disseminate ideas according to the sender. The meaning formedthrough this game is an accumulation of physical settings and adequate narration according to thewill of the maker. These three things succeeded in shaping players' perceptions in the directionexpected by producers of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.Key Words: call of duty, sense of place, video, games, public space

Abstract

Abstract: Media independence determines the choice of news published by the media. This was the background of the research on the Reuni Aksi Damai 212 of the 2018 , which not all media reported. Editorial Radar Banyumas is a main division of independence in the news of Reuni Aksi 212 of 2018. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of Editorial Radar Banyumas about independence, knowing the views of Editorial Radar Banyumas about independence in theReuni Aksi Damai 212. This research based on Alfred Schutz's theory of phenomenology with data collection techniques through observing news of Reuni Aksi Damai of 212 in the Radar Banyumas Newspaper, in- depth interviews with related personels, literature studies and documentation studies.The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research showed that Radar Banyumas as one of the most popular in Banjarnegara Regency,Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap and Kebumen, maintained independence in\reporting. Independence becomes an important thing in carrying out the profession as an editorial crew. This is so that editors can maintain the objectivity and balance in publishing news. Abstract

Abstract: The zoning program is one of the government programs in the framework of equalizing the quality of education. Through this program schools can compete to have good quality and are not inferior to schools that are already considered favorites. This program provides broadest access for schools and students to develop their quality. But in its implementation, the policy is inseparable from the pros and cons. There are schools that benefit and are disadvantaged. Thus, schools must have strategies in dealing with the school zoning system. The results of research at SMP N 3 Mrebet Purbalingga, the school's strategy in dealing with the zoning system, are a) building school branding; b) "pick up the ball" strategy, c) improve school performance, d) scholarships exist.Key Words: school strategy, zoning system, SMP N 3 Mrebet

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to observe the contribution of karate extracurricular activities to (towards) building students disciplinary and responsible character in MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. This research is a field research, which type is qualitative. The techniques used to collect the data are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the three data collection techniques are then collected through triangulation of techniques and sources. From the results of the analysis conducted by karate extracurricular activities have a positive contribution to building students? disciplinary and responsible character the character of discipline and responsibility MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. Students who take part in karate extracurricular activities have those two positive characters. The disciplinary attitude of students can be seenthrough several activities such as: religious discipline, time discipline, discipline towards regulations, discipline of learning, and discipline in attitude. Abstract

abstract Defense Economy is a branch of science that applies economics to national defense problems. The defense economy as a multidisciplinary study addresses the allocation of resources, income distribution, economic growth, and political stability applied to topics related to defense. The results of defense activities are pure public goods, because they are non-exclusive and non-validity, so the provision is made by the state. In the provision of defense products, the state must do it effectively and efficiently. This is due to the limited national resources owned by the state, and many other objectives that must be met by the state, such as education, health, and infrastructure development services while on the other hand the defense is always faced with the doctrine of Si Vis Pacem the Bellum. This consideration is the basis of the urgency to include economic defense material in economic learning in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Abstract

Abstract: The negative impact of globalization now makes Indonesian people forget the national character. The role of schools that work with families and communities is very much needed to instill strong character in children who are future leaders of the nation. In order to assess the results of implementing character education in schools, "PUTRA HARAPAN" SMP Boarding Scool Purwokerto carried out a 13-character assessment conducted by the teacher. This study aimed to find out "How the Character Education Assessment Model by Teachers in" PUTRA HARAPAN "Middle School Boarding School. The results show that the type of character education assessment currently used is a type of attitude assessment, while to help teachers assess using a variety of models, namely observation, total record, self evaluation and parenting. The implementation of the assessment is carried out in learning activities and activities outside the classroom. Furthermore, the condition of the teacher in the designation is directly involved in assessing, which also works with the guardians of students and students is an object of assessment following all activities. While the results of the assessment are reported on separate sheets in student learning outcomes (report cards). Key Words: Model, Assessment, Character Education

Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas mengenai alasan Amerika Serikat tidak meratifikasi Statuta Roma. Melalui jurnal ini, penulis berpendapat diantara banyak alasan dan pembenaran atas penarikan dukungan Amerika Serikat dari International Criminal Court, satu alasan yang tetap dilihat secara konstan: Mahkamah Pidana Internasional tidak dalam kepentingan terbaik Amerika Serikat. Metode yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah dengan menggunakan kajian literatur yangdidukung dengan data-data observasi melalui sumber-sumber sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kebijakan politik luar negeri AS menekankan pada perspektif realisme yang menekankan pada kepentingan negara sebagai landasan utama (national interest). Abstract

Rehabilitasi merupakan salah satu upaya penanganan masalah wanita tuna susila. Panti Pelayanan Sosial Wanita Wanodyatama Surakarta menjadi tempat tinggal sementara bagi wanita tuna susila agar dapat mengembalikan hak-hak dan fungsi sosial mereka di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna rehabilitasi bagi para wanita tuna susila di PPSW Wanodyatama Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, sedangkan informan dalam penelitian ini merupakan 4 orang wanita tuna susila (penerima manfaat) yang sedang menjalani proses rehabilitasi di PPSW Wanodyatama Surakarta dan 1 orang pekerja sosial. Teknik pengambilan informan dilakukan secara purposif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini antara lain terdapat pemaknaan yang berbeda diantara para wanita tuna susila mengenai rehabiitasi yang memberikan arah yang berbeda pula mengenai sikap dan perilaku mereka terhadap proses rehabilitasi. Adanya keberhasilan, kegagalan maupun pelanggaran dalam rehabilitasi tidak terlepas dari pemaknaan para wanita tuna susila terhadap program tersebut.Interaksi dan komunikasi dalam kelompok mmberikan dampak bagi tindakan mereka dalam proses rehabilitasi.Kata kunci: wanita tuna susila, rehabilitasi, pemaknaan

Pada hakikatnya sumber belajar merupakan segala sesuatu baik berupa pesan, benda, data, fakta, ide, orang, alat, teknik, lingkungan dan lain sebagainya yang dimanfaatkan serta diciptakan oleh guru secara sengaja untuk bisa menimbulkan proses belajar siswa secara individu dan memberikan ruang yang lebih luas bagi siswa untuk berinteraksi dengan berbagai sumber belajar yang ada itulah yang disebut dengan sumber belajar. Pembelajaran tematik merupakansuatu model pembelajaran terpadu dengan menggunakan tema untuk mengaitkan beberapa mata pelajaran yang saling terkait sehingga lebih bermakna yang menekankan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dan menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran dengan harapan siswa mampu memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan secara utuh. Untuk penggunaan sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran tematik khususnya tingkat SD/MI lebih memperhatikan aspek tujuan, karakteristik siswa, kelebihan, keterbatasan, keefektifan serta pembiayaan dari pihak sekolah maupun siswa sehingga dalam pembelajaran akan lebih efektif dan efisien.Kata kunci: Sumber Belajar, Pembelajaran Tematik
