Abstract

Background: The risk of radiation doses for patients undergoing radiological examinations can have somatic and genetic effects. Somatic effects are effects that are directly felt by patients, while genetic effects arise due to damage to DNA molecules in the long run. Providing appropriate education is an effort to prevent the risk of radiation doses. If the education model is only verbal, the potential for misinformation is also very large. Submission of misinformation certainly has implications for the risk of repeat examinations and in turn provides even more radiation doses for patients. In response to this, the development of an android application based education model is very much needed.Method: This type of research is a Research and Development (RD) research. The research design is quasy experiment pre post test control group design with a total sample of 45 patients. Data collection tools using the e-3Ramed application, questionnaires and questionnaires. Univariate analysis produces frequency distributions of respondents' characteristics. Bivariate analysis produces the effect of educational interventions on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of radiology patients about the risk of radiation doses by the McNemar and Kruskal Wallis tests. Results: All educational models were effective in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of radiology patients about the risk of radiation doses with a p-value 0.05. But the most effective educational model and has the highest ranking value is a combination of oral and android with a mean rank of 29.07.Conclusion: An Android-based educational model has been developed, the e-3Ramed application which is effective in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of radiology patients about the risk of radiation doses.

Abstract

Background: Based on riskesdas data in 2013, the prevalence of cancer in Indonesia reached 1.4% or around 347,792 people. The technique used at Kensaras Hospital for the use of Electalinac for IMRT engineering and Linac Siemens for 3D engineering with energies of 5 mV, 7 mV, 8 mV, 10 mV, 12 mV, 14 mV. Radiotherapy simulation using the GE 16 slice CT Simulator with adequate space, thermoplast masks, individual blocks and universal blocks, and bolus. Constraints that occur in the use of blocks for Siemens linac which still use manual blocks do not use MLC.Methods: Research analysis using SRL PICO method seeks clinical information in scientific evidence-based health science practices. The results of literature search show that the goal of radiotherapy is to provide the maximum radiation needed to kill cancer, while the minimum to the surrounding healthy tissue. Results: The static MLC method is a method in which the MLC moves to form a segment when the radiation stops and MLC stops as long as the radiation lasts for each gantry angle and MLC stops for radiation and so on for each gantry angle. Meanwhile, the kensaras hospital for Linac Siemens still uses a manual block made from a chimney and is attached to the linacgantry which is prone to falling and having to replace the block every corner. Conclusion: Radiation therapy with a linear electron accelerator is experiencing rapid development and is a cancer therapy that is relatively inexpensive and does not provide radioactive waste. The use of MLC is safer and can move to form segments when radiation stops and MLC stops during radiation for each angle of the gantry.

Abstract

To evaluate the effectiveness of aerobic training on pain in Rheumatoid arthritis. Methods Asystematic literature search was carried out using the Pubmed, Embase, and Cochrane databases untilNovember 2016 and abstractly presented at a scientific meeting of rheumatology for 3 years. Randomizedcontrolled trials (RCTs) comparing resistance exercise-based therapy with interventions withoutresistance exercise for RA patients' treatment were included. Six literature studies, including 547 patients, met the study inclusion criteria. Patient characteristics and exercise did not affect the outcome. Subgroupanalysis revealed a trend toward higher effectiveness associated with high-intensity programs. There isevidence with a low risk of bias that an aerobic exercise program effectively reduces fatigue amongpatients with RA, especially in the short term. An RCT should be performed in patients with RA who areselected for fatigue to strengthen the evidence.
