Abstract

The wind is one of the important parameters in meteorology to determine weather and climate. It can be determined by using two quantity measured, such us speed and direction of wind. Based on the result of measuring will obtain important information that can be used for disaster prevention. For measuring of wind speed, this reserch design a measurement using optocoupler sensor to determine wind speed with change of sensor resistance. The sensor is conected to an electronic circuit and a microcontroller Arduino Uno Rev3 and it is programmed to get the desired results. Based on data analysis, there are two result of research namely performance and design specifications. The instrument consists of two parts; the electronic circuits and mechanical parts making up the system of measuring instruments of wind speed. Based on the results conducted, the accuracy of this measuring instrument is 91.39% with 3.22% error percentage and the accuracy of the instrument was 98.9% with 1:11% relative error percentage.Key words: sensor optocoupler, microcontroler arduino

Abstract

Along with growth of computer technology, at the moment computer not only exploited for the application of having the character of public like reporting processes, data, but also exploited for the operation of equipment and system controller. In this research, writer try the application of personal computer as system of door control at a halte of bus way by using one tide sensor the LED infrared placed in way in at special band of bus way and one tide sensor the LED infrared again placed in constrictor wall. By exploiting electronics component as controller of door of halte of bus way supported with the language programming Borland Delphi 7.0, writer have earned to design a prototype which can give the amenity of management a halte of bus way.Key words: sensor LED infra red, interface port parallel

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine both performance and design spesification of Salinitymeter and Turbiditymeter. This system combined from several sub systems such as electrode and Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor, microcontroller Arduino, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and Light Emiting Diode (LED) indicators.  The variable of this research are salinity and turbidity. The result of this research divided in two parts. The first is performance spesification, this system using copper electrode as salinity sensor and LDR as turbidity sensor. This consist of two plastic box which are circuit box and sample box. The second is design spesification that consist of some data such as accuration and precision. Salinity measurement has accuration 95.71% with precision 97.22%, Turbidity measurement has 96.25 % of accuration and 97.69% of precision.Key words: salinity, turbidity, electrode sensor

Abstract

Porous coordination polymers (PCPs) were synthesized with used TCNQ anion that acts as cross linker connecting and bipyridine to form a 3D framework.  In these study, we use zinc and manganese metal ion as centre of complex coordination.  Green crystal of Zn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy.1.5 benzene and Mn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy.1.5 benzene was successfully synthesized  in no under magnetic field (0T) and under magnetic field 6T.  XRD patterns of Zn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy.1.5 benzene 0T and 6T shown not significant different pattern that indicate no different crytal formed.  XRD patterns of Mn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy.1.5 benzene also shown not significant different but we found five different intensity ratio peaks that possibility it was a little bit changing of crystal structure.   To investigate the pores properties, adsorption isotherm was performe for oxygen gas in 77 K and the guest of benzene were removed at 413 K for 3 hours under low pressure.  Zn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy}1.5benzene 0T and 6T oxygen adsorption isotherms  shows the unique sorption isotherms by gate pressure profile.  On other hand, Mn(TCNQ-TCNQ)bpy}1.5 benzene 0T and 6T shows type 1 adsorption isotherms for micropores materials.  Adsorption isotherm was also determined in magnetic field 6T for all crystal, and shows shift of gate pressure for Zn compounds and enhance the amount of oxygen adsorbed for all kind of compounds.Key words: porous coordination polymers, polymers synthesis, magnetic field

Abstract

Prediction model using combination of K-Means Clustering, Excel Function, and Naïve Bayes Classifier. Process is dataset, clustering, calculation, classification and prediction. Dataset source on BPS 2013 about consumption of fruit and vegetable. Clustering using K-Means Clustering. Clustering by output Cluster 1, Cluster 2, and Cluster 3. Calculation using Excel. Calculation by output Priority Yes and Priority No. Classification using Naïve Bayes Classifier. Classification by output Class Good and Class Bad. All data processing for clustering, calculation, and classification using Excel. Experimental results on BPS 2013 Dataset show percentage of fruit consumption 42,42% Class Good (class above average) and percentage fruit consumption of fruit consumption 57,58% Class Bad (class below average). Percentage of vegetable consumption 45,45% Clas Good (class above average) and percentage of vegetable consumption 54,55% Class Bad (class below average). Clustering, calculation and classification can be combined becamed prediction model.Key words: clustering, calculation, classification, fruit and vegetable consumption

Abstract

Research about plant visited by Apis forager was conducted at altitude < 500 m and 600-1400 m of West Sumatra from December 2009-July 2010. The plant visited by forager was collected at radius 500 m from nests in fruits cropping, coffea and cinnamom plantation and forest edge. Honeybee from genus Apisvisit on plant consisted of four species, those are A. andreniformis, A. cerana, A. dorsata and A. koschevnikovi. Plant visited by forager Apis consisted of 61 species belong to 26 families. The number of 36 plant species found at lowland and highland, 20 species only at lowland and five species at highland. Most of plant species visited by Apis forager are Asteraceae and Leguminoceae. About 29 plant species visited by Apis were agriculture crop and 32 species of non agriculture. Apis andreniformis visited 29 plant species, A. cerana 56 species, A. dorsata 57 species and A. koschevnikovi one plant species. Cucumis sativus was visited by four bee species, Galiansoga farviflora was visited only by A. cerana. Five plant species (Rorippa indica, Cinnamomum burmanii, Nasturrium indicum, Rorippa indica and Eryngium foetidum) were visited by only A. dorsata. Other three plants species (Mangifera indica, Cytrus aurantifoliaand Oryza sativa) were visited by A. cerana and A. andreniformis, 31 plant species were visited by A. cerana and A. dorsata, 21 species were visited by A. andreniformis, A. cerana and A. dorsata.Keywords: lebah madu, Apis forager, food source plant, visit

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of fluorescent pseudomonads on some carrier with the addition of stabilizer glycerol in controlling Blood Disease Bacteria invitro. The experiment was conducted from May to July 2013, housed in the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, FMIPA UNP. Parameters measured were the amount of inhibition zone diameter fluorescent pseudomonads in controlling BDB CAS3 invitro. Observations preservation is done every 10 days until a preservation period of 60 days. This study is an experiment in completely randomized design (CRD) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were fluorescent pseudomonads carrier CAS3 on tapioca (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL); carrier CAS3 fluorescent pseudomonads in rice flour (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL); carrier CAS3 fluorescent pseudomonads on talc (glycerol addition of 0,03 mL, 0,04 mL and 0,05 mL). Inhibition zone diameter data were analyzed using ANOVA at 5% significance level and continued with DNMRT test at 5% significance level. The results showed that the large inhibitory zone formed around the Blood Disease Bacteria vary. Results of analysis of variance on the preservation period of 10 days was significantly different at DNMRT further test, with the largest inhibition zone that is in treatment F (6,41mm) and the lowest in treatment I (1.15mm), whereas the preservation period of 20 to 60 days is not significantly different. Abstract

This research has successfully designed an instrument to measure air pressure, namely, DT-Sense Barometric Pressure and Temperature (DT-SBPT). DT-SBPT is a smart sensor module on the basis of HP03 sensor. Data were collected using direct and indirect measurement. Direct measurement was done toward air pressure. Indirect measurement, however, was applied to determine the exact and accuracy of the measurement of air pressure. Data were analyzed by using two ways, namely statistic and graphic ways. The result of the research shows that DT-SBPT has high appropriateness and accuracy, which is 0.99. The air pressure around earth surface decrease linearly when the height increase.Keywords: air pressure, smart sensor module

Abstract

This research investigated the quantity of copper (Cu) and Zinc (Zn) in five mini- factories for processing water at Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar Regency. The method used was atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The research findings revealed that the quantity of copper (Cu) fulfilled the criteria regulated by the Regulation of Ministry of Health Affairs No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. It is not exceed 2 mg/L. Meanwhile, the quantity of  Zinc (Zn) did not fulfill, except one, the Regulation of Ministry of Health Affairs No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to design a system of determination of the static friction coefficient of the object on inclined plane digitally. The purpose of this research is to explain the performance specifications, accuracy and precision of the system. There were three main results of this research. Firstly, the system was designed with the surface of the slip object size 8,7 x15 cm and glide plane 9 x 100 cm. Secondly, the average of accuracy relative accelerometer sensor was 95,58%.
