Abstract

esearch shows that physical activity of children at an early age will greatly trigger the development of cognitive abilities. Based on observations and studies in the field, it was found that almost all teachers and educators in PAUD Padang Panjang did not have the skills in designing learning and evaluating the basic movements of children. Based on research, basic motion cannot develop naturally but must be taught correctly and continuously. The learning material to be realized must be based on the child's initial ability and level of movement skills. This community service activity for partners aims to: (a) possess skills in designing fundamental motor skills learning, (b) understand and be skilled in using early childhood fundamental motor skill measurement instruments, (c) able to effectively implement learning in school places respective agencies. The method used uses the principle that every innovation received by PAUD teachers through PIE (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). This means that the delivery of innovations to Partners is carried out through the stages of explanation, discussion, practice as well as the evaluation stage with assistance in the learning process. Based on the implementation of the training, the results obtained for PAUD teachers in Padang Panjang as training participants can be described as follows: (a) has the skills in designing fundamental motor skill learning, (b) understanding and skilled in using fundamental motor skills measurement instruments for early childhood, (c) able to effectively implement learning in their respective school offices.

Abstract

UNESCO reports that the implementation of PAUD in Indonesia places great importance on academic content such as writing, arithmetic and reading and provides very little opportunity to actively play physically with children. Research shows that physical activity of children at an early age will greatly trigger the development of cognitive abilities. Based on observations and studies in the field, it was found that almost all teachers and educators in PAUD Sijunjung district did not have the insight and skills in measuring and evaluating the basic movements of children. Based on research, basic motion cannot develop naturally but must be taught correctly and continuously. This community service activity for partners aims to: (a) find out the importance of basic motion, (b) have skills in practicing basic early childhood movements, (c) be able to use instruments to measure basic movement skills in early childhood. The method used uses the principle that every innovation received by PAUD teachers through PIE (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). This means that the delivery of innovations to Partners is carried out through the stages of explanation, discussion, practice as well as the evaluation phase with assistance in the learning process. The results of the training obtained by partners as participants can be described as follows: (a) Having insight and understanding of the importance of basic movement skills, (b) having experience in practicing basic motion skills, (c) knowing and having the ability to use basic motion skills test instruments.

Abstract

The problem underlying this training is that the Physical Education teacher's knowledge and skills are not yet optimal in providing treatment / prevention in schools, either because of practical or sport learning activities, or in the service of UKS activities. The methods used in this training are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations or demonstrations, methods of practice and practice. The results of the evaluation of 30 trainees were: (a) 13 people (43.33%) received an A or Excellent score, (b) 16 people (53.33%) received a B or Good rating, (c) 1 person ( 3.33%) get a C or sufficient value; and (d) the average value of achievement of training competency is 76.52 (77.64%) with a grade of B or Good.

Abstract

Sports is one aspect of development that is gaining national attention in Indonesia, especially in efforts to improve nurseries, coaching, and achievement sports. Nurseries, coaching and improving the performance of sports not only in certain branches but also includes all sports activities in the community including Sepaktakraw sports. The sport of Sepaktakraw is very interesting, and it needs to be taken seriously because the game of Sepaktakraw is a very useful game and has developed a lot in Indonesia, especially in West Sumatra. This sport is popular because Sepaktakraw is full of beautiful acrobatic movements and is beneficial for bodily health. Nurseries, coaching activities towards achieving maximum achievement for this need to be held various preparations, especially the problem of coaches, athletes, organizations, infrastructure, and training programs, in order to improve the achievement to a higher level. In an effort to improve the quality of motion and improve the achievements of athletes in the game Sepak takraw, the technique is very closely related to the ability of movement, physical condition, tactics, and mental. One of the most basic places for coaching is in schools and through Physical Education learning. In connection with this, it is necessary to have training in basic techniques of sepaktakraw games for Penjasorkes teachers in Primary Schools in Padang Utara District, Padang City so that teachers can begin to do sepaktakraw training for students since elementary school.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed by themselves, society, nation, and state. Through physical education, it is expected to spur student growth and development. In addition, students are expected to have basic abilities and skills and improve physical fitness in daily life. One of the activities at school which is an effort to improve the ability of students in extracurricular activities especially the athletics branch. One of the material is athletic extracurricular is that students can recognize and perform basic movements that are useful as the basis of various physical activities in addition to being useful for students in developing various forms of motion in play. In connection with the lack of implementation of extracurricular activities, especially those related to athletic material at this time, it is, therefore, necessary to conduct training in an effort to improve athletic extracurricular implementation activities for elementary school Physical Education teachers in Padang Utara District, Padang City.

Abstract

Pembekalan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta pelatihan instruktur dasar bagi para instruktur sanggar senam dan instruktur fitness diberikan agar dapat meningkatkan manajemen pengelolaan sanggar senam dan fitness, serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan usaha pada pusat kebugaran serta sanggar senam dalam pelayanan jasa instruktur yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Di kota Padang khususnya kecamatan Koto Tangah aktivitas kebugaran dapat di laksanakan dan dikembangkan diberbagai tempat seperti sanggar senam, fitness centre, instansi, badan usaha, lembaga baik swasta maupun pemerintah. Disamping itu tidak kalah pentingnya untuk dapat meningkatkan usaha maupun jasa sebagai instruktur pada sanggar senam maupun fitness centre perlu penyegaran, peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan manajemen, administrasi, pengelolaan serta program – program yang menarik untuk dapat di jual kepada member atau pun masyarakat yang membutuhkannya. Untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan tersebut, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Universitas Negeri Padang merupakan lembaga penghubung antara dosen dengan mitra kerja dalam hal ini pengelola, instruktur pada sanggar senam, fitness centre bersama sama berusaha mencari solusi yang terbaik. Pada kesempatan ini solusi atau tindakan yang diberikan berupa pelatihan instruktur dasar bagi instruktur senam dan fitness pada pusat – pusat kebugaran yang berada pada Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang.

Abstract

The problems in this activity are many teachers who still use the methods of training in the learning process of physical education of sports and Health (PJOK) especially badminton so that students do not experience improvement in the game Badminton. The purpose of this activity is to improve the teacher's ability to study badminton through shuttle time. The objective of the event is PJOK teacher in Padang Utara Sub-district with 26 people. To measure the success of this activity was given a question as much as 50 rounds before and after activities. From the question obtained initial data access is 750 (57.69) and the final data 1061 (81.62%) An increase of 23.93%.

Abstract

Kriket merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia oleh karena itu penyebarannya selalu digiatkan di berbagai kalangan masyarakat, salah satunya di perguruan tinggi. Pada tahun 2019 Kriket sudah mulai diperkenalkan pada kejuaraan resmi tingkat perguruan tinggi se Indonesia Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional (POMNAS) yang diselenggarakan di Jakarta. Oleh karena itu maka cabang olahraga asal Inggris ini pun juga harus digiatkan pada perguruan tinggi di Sumatera Barat, khususnya Kota Padang. Untuk menjawab persoalan ini Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) sebagai penghubung antara staf pengajar UNP dengan mitra masyarakat bersama-sama mencarikan solusi. Staf pengajar yang mempunyai pengetahuan serta pengalaman terutama di bidang Kriket berupaya melakukan penyuluhan dengan syarat adanya kesediaan mitra kerja. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan untuk pengenalan Kriket pada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi di Kota Padang terlihat bahwa belum banyak yang memahami ataupun mengetahui olahraga tersebut. Ada beberapa perguruan tinggi yang diharapkan untuk dapat ikut serta dalam kegiatan ini, diantaranya: Universitas Andalas, Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol, YPTK UPI, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat, Politeknik Negeri Padang. Dari kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan disaat para mahasiswa tersebut telah mendapatkan materi tentang Kriket mereka menjadi antusias dan ingin mengenal lebih jauh lagi olahraga ini. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu untuk memodifikasi cabang olahraga ini agar bisa dimainkan pada berbagai tempat serta situasi pada di kampus masing-masing. Lebih jauh mereka berharap agar adanya latihan yang berkelanjutan untuk lebih memantapkan keterampilan mereka. Oleh karena itu peneliti juga mengajukan agar dirancang pembentukan unit kegiatan mahasiswa cabang olahraga kriket melalui pimpinan pada perguruan tinggi mereka masing-masing. Serta nantinya mereka dapat mengadakan pertandingan antar perguruan tinggi ataupun antar klub sebagai bentuk evaluasi dan menilai kemajuan yang telah mereka raih. Selain itu, dengan artikel ini juga dapat menjadi panduan untuk melakukan latihan kriket.

Abstract

Based on observations, it was found that almost all teachers and PAUD educators in Pesisir Selatan district did not have the insight and skills in realizing basic motion learning. Permendiknas No. 58 of 2009 is the basis of Early Childhood Education Standards (PAUD) which have been explained in depth all aspects, contents, goals and objectives of the government in PAUD, but the reality is still far from the target. Met the implementation of PAUD in Indonesia, including in the Pesisir Selatan district, prioritizing academic content such as writing, counting and reading, looks poor providing opportunities for active play and physical activity for children. Based on research, basic motion cannot develop naturally but must be taught correctly and continuously. Community service activities for partners aim to: (a) know the importance of basic motion, (b) have skills in practicing basic motion of early childhood, (c) be able to use instruments and know the level of basic motion skills of children. The method used uses the principle that every innovation received by PAUD teachers through PIE (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). Abstract

Implementation of community service activities for Higher Education Institutions is a necessity and an obligation. This is the breath of an academic activity in the Tri Dharma College. This service was attended by representatives of academics, students and service partners of the University of Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram, namely Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Lenek Lauk, the purpose of this service was to foster independence in applying science in the community. The solution offered by the service team is to provide ongoing assistance for partners, namely student organizations in the target schools. The method used is to provide assistance during activities, and continue activities that have not been completed with further activities. The activity began with the introduction of each member of the service, and introduced the aims and objectives of the service itself, namely for training, development, and challenges in community development in the fostered partner school of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Nahdlatul Wathan University, Mataram. In this dedication activity, it gives a pretty good hope, especially for partners, namely learning how to become an agent or pilot location in each service held by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Nahdlatul Wathan University, Mataram
