Abstract

Kesalahan klasik yang selalu muncul dalam memahami mata pelajaran biologi adalah karena banyak peserta didik menganggap biologi sebagai pelajaran yang membosankan.Selain itu, menurut hasil wawancara dengan salah satu guru IPA, menyatakan bahwa pada cabang ilmu biologi materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan adalah salah satu materi yang paling sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan mempelajari materi ini secara detail memerlukan alat bantu (mikroskop) yang hasil pengamatannya belum tentu mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Selain itu, selama ini media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang bervariasi. Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas, maka diperlukan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dan pemahaman siswa dalam mempelajari materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran monopoli terhadap materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan pada tumbuhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan statistika. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner terhadap siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Hasani maka didapatkan nilai rata-rata dari analisis kelayakan adalah 90,27% yang tergolong sangat baik.

Abstract

An understanding of laboratory management is highly important to be owned by parties related to the laboratory, both directly and indirectly. Laboratories must be managed and utilized properly, because chemical laboratories are one type of laboratory that is considered quite dangerous in the context of carrying out education, research, and / or community service. This study aims to describe the management of a chemical laboratory using qualitative descriptive research methods. Research subjects were the principal, vice chairman of the curriculum, chair of the laboratory, and teachers in the field of chemistry studies. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are: 1) Planning of chemical laboratory work program has been prepared and standardized by the head of the laboratory, 2) Organizing the laboratory structurally already exists, 3) Organizing by the principal involving all those involved in laboratory management, 4) The implementation of the program is suitable with the plan of the work program, 5) Supervision and evaluation of the principal must still be carried out intensively. In other words, laboratory management at SMA 55 Jakarta has been well organized.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has abundant natural resources. One of the natural resource wealth is in the agricultural sector. The agricultural sector has a variety of agricultural commodities found in Indonesia. One of them is horticulture. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a horticultural commodity. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of ab mix and planting media on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var New Grand Rapids) in increasing growth and yield after 40 Days After Planting (HST). This research method is an experiment with statistical data collection and analysis techniques. The results of this study are the number of leaves, plant height, and wet weight in the ab mix is ??higher than aquades (control) because the ab mix provides nutrients for plant growth so that the plant becomes tall and enlarged with its leaves looking wide. However, the number of seeds germinated and plant viability in aquades (control) was higher than ab mix because there was an inorganic salt in ab mix that inhibited seed germination so that the seed membrane in absorbing water became impermeable.

Abstract

In a welding process carried out on metallic materials is sometimes found defects in the material being tested, it is caused by many factors, such as the lack of good materials used and the lack of perfection of the welding process. At testing, it aims to know the surface defects in carbonsteel pipes to know the defects arising after welding. This test is performed with non-destructive tests (NDT) using Dye Penetrant testing method. This test uses 3 types of liquids, including; Cleaner, Penetrant, and developer. The results of these tests will then be observed whether defects occur after welding and what factors affect it. From the test, results there are known 10 locations defects on the surface of the carbonsteel pipe welding with a type of rounded indication of defects that are then followed up by re-welding on indications of such defects.

Abstract

Physics is not only learning through the presentation of concepts or formulas, but many events can be understood through various learning media. Evidently, students better understand the material if they can interact directly with the topic of the lesson. In addition, the rapid internet makes teachers are required to actively develop learning media. This research aims to develop physics learning using E-Learning learning media on the Special Theory of Relativity material for high school students in class XII. This study uses research and development methods that refer to the ADDIE model. This research is limited to making applications. Based on the results of research, this development has produced products that function well and present features that support student learning. Available features include quizzes, learning videos, materials and simulations that students can access. E-learning developed using Schoology can support learning through the online platform. E-learning using Schoology can display the stages of stimulus that can be determined by educators when using this e-learning. Therefore, e-learning learning that utilizes Schoology on relativity material can be designed and developed according to the needs of teachers and students in the learning process in class.

Abstract

Research has been carried out using seismic refraction in the LIPI area - Bandung, which aims to determine the land of embankment in the area. Retrieval of field data was carried out using geometric Es-3000 tool along 46 meters with a spacing of 2 meters and a 7 shoot punch consisting of 2 phantom shoots beginning and ending. Data processing is done by the first step, namely by geometric editing so that data can be read by the computer. The inversion process is done by seismimager software which consists of pickwin to extract data and plotera for modeling the subsurface layer. The results of the data interpretation show the P wave velocity from 315 - 435 m / s. layer grouping based on P wave velocity is at the first color layer having a wave velocity of about 315 - 342 m / s, the second color layer has a wave speed of 355-382 m / s, and the third color layer has a speed of 359 - 422 m / s and thick layer more than 435. Based on the lithological classification of subsurface rock layers, this study area tends to have a layer of soil type with a depth of 5 meters, and can be said to be a layer of soil deposits because of the formation of soil structures that tend to be new

Abstract

The lack of facilities and infrastructures for students with special needs will hamper the learning process. In fact, this has been explained in the definition of inclusive education which is to accommodate students with special needs to comprehend the material in the class. The fact is that there are only public facilities such as the guiding block for the blind, and some interpreters in the class to explain the material. This situation is exacerbated by the limitations of an interpreter to explain scientific terms. Therefore, we need a technology that can help deaf people to comprehend the material in the classroom directly. The technology is speech recognizing device. This device enables to process input signals in the form of sound and is converted into text. This technology enables deaf people to comprehend material in the classroom without an interpreter. The research method is inferential statistics and observations. Observations were made by measuring 26 respondents speaking speed to obtain data using 3 different applications namely Speech Notes, Voice Notebooks, Speech to Text. Afterthat, the words obtained in the application are compared with the actual text to see the accuracy of each application. By using inferential statistics, the correlation test values obtained in the application of Voice Notebooks, Speech Notes, Speech to Text are 0.386,0.351, and 0.152, respectively. By using 5% significance level, we found that the most accurate speech recognizing application is Voice Notebook. Due to Voice Notebook application, we can support the special students in learning process in the class.

Abstract

The implementation of Lévy path integral generated by Lévy stochastic process on fractional Schrödinger equation has been investigated in the framework of fractional quantum mechanics. As the comparison, the implementation of Feynmann path integral generated by Wiener stochastic process on Schrödinger equation also has been investigated in the framework of standard quantum mechanics. There are two stochastic processes. There are Lévy stochastic and Wiener stochastic process. Both of them are able to produce fractal. In fractal’s concept, there is a value known as fractal dimension. The implementation of fractal dimension is the diffusion equation obtained by using Fokker Planck equation. In this paper, Lévy and Wiener fractal dimension have been obtained. There are for Lévy and 2 for Wiener/Brown fractal dimension. Fractional quantum mechanics is generalization of standard quantum mechanics. A fractional quantum mechanics state is represented by wave function from fractional Schrödinger equation. Fractional Schrödinger equation is obtained by using kernel of Lévy path integral generated by Lévy stochastic process. Otherwise, standard quantum mechanics state is represented by wave function from standard Schrödinger equation. Standard Schrödinger equation is obtained by using kernel of Feynmann path integral generated by Wiener/Brown stochastic process. Both Lévy and Feynmann Kernel have been investigated and the outputs are the Fourier Integral momentum phase of those kernels. We find that the forms of those kernels have similiraty. Therefore, we obtain Schrödinger equation from Lévy and Feynmann Kernel and also the comparison of Lévy energy in fractional quantum mechanics and particle energy in standard quantum mechanics.

Abstract

Air merupakan sumber daya alam yang berperan penting dalam kehidupan setelah udara, salah satu peran terpentingnya adalah untuk dikonsumsi. Namun, permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kualitas air minum khususnya isi ulang yang dikonsumsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas air minum isi ulang beberapa Rumah di RW 01 Kampung Cilember Desa Jogjogan Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Bogor terhadap hasil uji sifat fisika dan derajat keasamannya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam pengambilan sampel air minum adalah metode sampel gabungan tempat atau integrated sampel, terdapat 20 rumah warga dilakukan pengambilan sampel air untuk diukur kualitas secara fisika (warna, bau, rasa, TDS dan suhu) dan secara kimia (pH atau derajat keasaman). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, terdapat 5 rumah yang memenuhi standar kualitas air minum isi ulang dari 20 rumah warga yang diuji. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari parameter standar yang berlaku dengan kisaran pH antara 6,5-8,5, TDS rata-rata 600-900 ppm, suhu ±3oC suhu udara, serta tidak memiliki bau, rasa, dan warna.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Islam answer the challenge of SDGs in Indonesia . This research uses descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques of literature review. The researches found that Islam guarantees life for every believer in the world and in the hereafter. Islam has a very essential joint of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. It contains the basic teachings concerning all aspects of human life, which can then be developed in accordance with the minds of each nation, whenever its time, and wherever it is, Islam is always present functionally solve human problems, because nothing which is not contained in it, including answer the challenge of SDGs
