Abstract

School leadership has a fairly heavy duty and responsibility, the success of an educational institution is determined by how the principal performs his role. The full day school based PAUD institution leadership model in Pree-school Jogja kids park aims to find out why parents from the middle class community choose to send their children to a full day school based school, and to find out how the leadership model used in Pre-school Jogja kids park. This type of research forms descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which included data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Pre-school Jogja kids park uses a transformational leadership model (changing situations, changing what is usually done, talking about noble goals, having a reference to the values ??of freedom, justice, equality). The parents of the middle class are mostly active workers who spend a lot of time outside the home

Abstract

The implementation of formal and non-formal education channels aims to find out how the service components are in Early Childhood Education. This type of research is qualitative research. The subject used in this study was the principal of Early Childhood Education Salsabila Al-Muthi’in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which included data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Integrated Early Childhood Education Yogyakarta, there are 7 components of Early Childhood Education implementation in providing formal and non-formal Early Childhood Education, among the seven components including: curriculum, students, educators and education staff, facilities and infrastructure, management, financing and partnership.a

Abstract

Children with special needs including children who are deaf-speech are children who have the right to get teaching and develop according to their potential. Like normal children in general, children who are deaf-mute have problems that must be resolved so that they can perform maximally. One of them is by providing education. Education is very important in life to eradicate ignorance. Teachers and parents must also be seen in the teaching process of students. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the role playing method in developing cognitive skills of children aged 5-6 years. The problem in this study is the low cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years and the hope that the role playing method still uses limited media in RA Az-Zahra Natar, South Lampung. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method that describes how the role playing method is used at RA Az-Zahra Natar, South Lampung. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of miles and huberman model data, namely data reduction, data collection and conclusion drawing. Based on data collection and analysis conducted there are several findings of research results about playing a role in developing cognitive children aged 5-6 years. The results of this research are the application of the steps used in role playing, i.eWarming up (warming up), participants (choosing players), setting the stage, observers (preparing observers), holding (ensuring roles), discussion and evaluation, reusing (playing back roles), second discussion and evaluation, various conclusions and experiences

Abstract

The game can not be separated from learning in early childhood. Games that involve several children will establish social relationships between one child and another child. PAUD unit educators pay less attention to stimulation in the development of prosocial behavior of children but most educators focus on providing stimulation for cognitive aspects, language and religious and moral values ??as an important aspect of development to be stimulated. The dice game is used to stimulate the development of prosocial behavior of early childhood group A RA An-Nur, Kendari City. The research method used is action research. The model chosen for action is the Kemmis and Taggart cycle which has four stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data on the development of a child's prosocial behavior were obtained through observation and subsequent documentation analyzed using a percentage. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle having three meetings. The results showed that dice games can improve the development of prosocial behavior in early childhood.

Abstract

This research aims to develop valid and practical student worksheet. Subjects in this research were B2 and B3 groups in state kindergarten of Pembina 2 Palembang. The model developed in this development was Rowntree consisting of One to one evaluation and small group evaluation. It was aimed to see the practicality and it used the Tessmer evaluation stage which consisted of self evaluation, expert review. Data collection techniques used in this research were interview, walkthrough and observation methods. According to the results of the research, it showed that the validity of the material and design obtained an average value of 3.77 in very valid categories. Student worksheet practicality test in terms of observations with a mean value of 95% in very practical category. The small group evaluation stage obtained an average score of 92% in the very practical category. Questionnaire result was 97% in valid category. From the result, it can be concluded that student worksheet theme of my homeland and sub-theme of Palembang city for group B children is valid and practical. It is also worth to use as learning student worksheet with Theme of my homeland

Abstract

Toilet training is one way that teachers can do in the development of children's independence. This study aims to describe the implementation of toilet training in exercising independence in children aged 2-3 years. This research is a field research with descriptive qualitative approach. The source of the data was taken from the results of the class teacher and school principal interviews as well as the observations of the students playing the Al-Ikhlas class aged 2-3 years at the Ulul Albab Integrated Islamic Palace Kraton Pekalongan City. The results of the study show the purpose of toilet training is to train children's independence in toileting, to introduce early on unclean objects, to identify items in the toilet and to properly teach urinating and defecating. The implementation of toilet training starts with planning, that is preparing story material from story books on the themes of activities in the toilet, the implementation is carried out by the teacher using the habituation method and the method of storytelling, and evaluating that the teacher assigns tasks to the child in the form of direct practice about activities related with toilet training

Abstract

The background of this research is that gross motoric activities in schools are rarely carried out due to the limited facilities and infrastructure owned by the school. The solution to overcome this problem is the application of the hoop game tool. This study aims to determine the application of hulahoop playing tools as an effort to increase gross motor skills in group A children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto. The formulation of the problem in this study include: 1) How to apply the hoop game tool to improve gross motor skills in group A children in Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto? 2) How to increase gross motor skills through hoop playing tools in group A children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto? This type of research is classroom action research which aims to improve the quality of learning by using the Kemmis & Taggart spiral model action research. The study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is held for three meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages: the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were children of group A totaling 17 students consisting of 8 male students and 9 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study can be explained as follows: 1) the application of the hoop game runs well in Cycle II. This can be seen in the results of observations of teacher activities in Cycle I, namely 80 (good) and in Cycle II it increased to 86.66 (very good). The results of observation of student activities in Cycle I were 75 (good) and in Cycle II it rose to 88.33 (very good). 2) increase in gross motor skills based on the average grade of the 59.70 (sufficient) pre cycle, in the cycle up to 69.70 (enough) and in Cycle II it increased to 91.47 (very good). Whereas gross motor percentage at pre cycle was 23.52% (Undeveloped), in Cycle I it was 52.94% (Start developing) and in Cycle II it increased significantly to 88.23% (Developing Very Good).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the confidence of children in Thoriqussalam kindergarten who have not developed well. This is evidenced by the results of the pretest which shows 11 out of 15 children have not developed their confidence. This study aims to determine the level of confidence of children B before and after it is given assistance in the form of star stickers and to understand the stickers of children B in Thoriqussalam Sidoarjo kindergarten. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods with experimental research models. The form of experiment used is Quasi Experimental with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. From this design, this research is an experimental group that gets help and a control group that doesn't get help. The results obtained are based on the pretest and posttest of the experimental group and the control group. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The initial control of children's confidence before awarding the star stickers has not yet developed in the research or control group, this is evidenced by the results of the pretest that 11 of the 15 experimental group children received an undeveloped score of 1 and 10 out of 15 control children get a value of 1 which means not yet developed. 2) The final condition of self-confidence The child for giving a star prize is very different from the pretest in the experimental group or the control group, this is evidenced by the results of the posttest in the experimental group. 11 out of 15 children get a value of 4 which results in very good development. 3) Giving a star sticker prize agrees to the confidence of the children of Thoriqussalam Sidoarjo Kindergarten B, this is evidenced by Uhitung = 4 and Utabel = 64 with the terms that support Uhitung <Utabel then reject H0 and Ha are approved

Abstract

Learning media are all things that can be used to channel learning materials so that they can stimulate the attention, interests, thoughts and feelings of students (students) in learning activities to achieve certain learning goals. Learning media is a tool or other material that provides a complete form of information and can support the teaching and learning process. Learning in the introduction of geometric shapes in early childhood really requires appropriate learning strategies and media, so to maximize the child's ability to introduce geometric shapes can use puzzle media. Compiling geometric shapes puzzles can improve cognitive for children. Cognitive skills (cognitive skills) associated with the ability to learn and solve problems in children. Moreover, it can improve social skills for children. By using the content analysis method and the study documentation, this research tries to describe the puzzle media to introduce geometric shapes to early childhood
