Retrosfective analysis in this study applies a qualitative approach and uses descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and document study.  The results showed that the objectives of the policies issued by the Aceh Government were to handle Covid-19 and its impact on health, development, the economy and society. The cause of the policy being issued was the increasingly widespread spread of Covid-19. The consequence is a shift in the focus of development plans, changes in the use of budgets and mobilization of resources. The problem with policy is the delay in policy Formulation so that Covid-19 has been in the midst of society. The outreach strategy to the community is still ineffective. Limited resources due to unpreparedness. Low coordination between horizontal agencies and stakeholders.

Abstract

This research tries to interrogate the readiness of Third World countries for the challenges facing climate change, the consequences of this climate change will affect more than 200 million people which make fish resources severely reduced and other species migrate which makes inhabitant even more miserable. Coastal communities can also be displaced by rising sea levels and will be forced to find new housing and new livelihoods. This will pose new risks to food security, food security and human health. using a qualitative approach and historical research methods to find past experiences to solve this problem. This research results that most of the damage to the ecosystem is done by humans to survive without paying attention to environmental factors and we also find history. Experts have realized the importance of forests as an antidote to climate change, but the implementation in the field of protection is still lacking.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, foreign investment no longer needs to be seen as a threat. On the other hand, foreign investment can be considered as a driving force for national development, including for Indonesia as a developing country, including the construction of Industrial Parks. This study aims to determine the potential and challenges of foreign investment in the development of industrial estates in Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method, where this study describes events that occur and is intended to describe existing phenomena, both natural and human engineering. As a result, this paper finds that the Indonesian government has begun to improve infrastructure so that it is also sufficient to be one of the supporting factors. With a good location and infrastructure, the company's business activities become more effective. And more importantly, the Indonesian government is also willing to provide some fiscal facilities and licensing facilities related to company activities even though they are slightly contrary to sustainable development. Therefore, this research will contribute to the process of increasing foreign investment for sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Understanding a thing as a whole must begin with understanding the nature of science itself. Islamic economics as a science has received rejection from western scientists because of its value-free nature. However, Islamic economics is not entirely a doctrine and normative assumptions, because the Qur'an and hadith as the main legal basis for Muslims contain many descriptive assumptions that can be verified by modern science. Using a qualitative approach and conducting ontological studies to understand Islamic economics better, it is deemed necessary to see Islamic economics as a system that is full of spiritual values without neglecting the material values contained in this research. being the basis of Islamic economics contains many descriptive arguments that can be proven by modern science.

Abstract

Elections are usually accompanied with controversies and irregularities in Nigeria emanating from several factors such as the procedures, regulations, nature of political culture and political gameplay in the country and elites’ attitudes towards power. The 2019 Gubernatorial election in Nigeria was enshrouded in controversies, malpractices and inconsistencies because of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines for the conduct of election which provided for inconclusive elections in some circumstances. This study examined critically some states in Nigeria that are affected by the politics of inconclusive elections where the elections were extended for additional two weeks due to some issues that could not allow for the final declaration after the first date of the election. The inconclusive election heralded several problems and a setback to election in Nigeria because of recorded violence, malpractices, rigging and other related obstacles. The research employed a qualitative methodology of data collection and analysis. Both primary and secondary sources were used for data collection. The primary sources involved an in-depth interview, participant observation and reference to INEC’s documented data. The secondary data used were books, journals, newspapers, internet sources and reports. The data collected were discussed using content analysis for analytical interpretations. The study discovered that the guideline for the conduct of the 2019 General Election which stipulated for the provision of inconclusive election created several inconclusive elections in some states like Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto which later was followed by irregularities and violence. The work recommends among others that such criteria should be abandoned and declare any contestant that fulfill the minimum criteria as returned elected.

Abstract

Students are agents of change. Students are the holder of the baton from previous generations to carry out the mission of building a more socially just and dignified Indonesia. The role of students is increasingly important as an agent of change. This generation has exceeded the number of generation X generation, they are also called the millennial generation with a myriad of talents, dreams, and ambitions. They mastered digital to be able to compete with developed countries in the midst of global and digital competition. Two important combinations that can change the landscape of the international and global world order. This generation's readiness to fill development is still interesting to study. Through this paper, the study was conducted by presenting a structural equation model (SEM) of two exogenous variables that is Organizational Activity and Learning Achievement of Work Readiness. A total of 133 respondents from two universities in the Probolinggo region were studied using quantitative collection methods so that they can present structural equation models that can explain the relationship of each construct to endogenous and exogenous variables. This will also ultimately lead to the conclusion of a relationship between the exogenous and endogenous variables tested. Research obtains result of  variable of organizational activity affects the variable of learning achievement by .641, while for .359 is influenced by other variables. Then for the variable activity of the organization affects the work readiness variable by .205, while the rest is influenced by other variables that can be further research opportunities. That the work performance variable influences the work readiness variable by .647, and the rest is influenced by other variables outside the research variable. It seems that learning achievement variables influence work readiness variables more than organizational activity variables.

Abstract

Research papers looking deep into the causes of youth unemployment focus not only on the causes but solutions of the unemployment rate in Lusaka Zambia. The government of Zambia recognizes these challenges and has pledged to increase employment in general, and employment for youth in particular. So far, however, his initiative has not made the needed difference. Often in business life young people are not given the opportunity or opportunity to express their abilities in relation to the skills they have acquired while in college. This study uses quantitavie method. Result The Government of the Republic of Zambia has in many cases talked about reducing the unemployment rate but the question is what has been done about it? More local flexibility in the design and implementation of policies to address youth unemployment could solve this problem. Participation in work operations results in gains in employment as income in the post-program period and decreases in welfare and unemployment receipts and payments. This positive effect persists at a relatively stable level for up to four years after youth leave the program.

This study generates data from quantitative and qualitative sources, using questionnaire instrument to randomly collect a cross sectional data from one of the two (2) existing polytechnics in Bauchi state of Nigeria. A total of 45 structured questionnaires were administered on our respondents and 44 were valid for analysis. The research adopted the descriptive statistics as well as the Chi-square, X2, to analyze the results and test the hypothesis to give the tentative prediction about the nature of the relationship between the research variables. Thus the research believes that there is a significant relationship between TETFund intervention in human capital investment and employees’ work efficiency within educational polytechnic system in Nigeria. This research study recommended for the public organizations in Nigeria especially the education institutions to harnessed and take full advantage of the reciprocal benefits of human capital investments and the work efficiency in educational tertiary institutions as this will go a long way to raise organizational achievement towards an end with the least amount of resources.

Abstract

Unlike the traditional top-down reactive way of handling the disaster, the community-based approach to disaster management calls for a holistic bottom-up approach reposing its faith in local communities who are usually caught hapless in the epicenter of disasters. Despite the proven efficacy of community engagement in disaster management, it has few takers in the policy circuit. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. The present paper with special reference to the community involvement in disaster management in Indonesia and India, concludes that community engagement in addition to institutional cooperation is equally important for the successful mitigation of disaster.
