Abstract

The aim of this study are: Frist, to explore the effect of service quality towards customer satisfaction. Second , to explore the effect of trust towards customer satisfaction. The method of data collection is convenience sampling. The sample of this research are collected from 186 respondent, who used one of these online shops in Jakarta. The technique of data analysis used in this study was regression analysis via the statistical package for social sciences computer programme version 18. The result are: (1) service quality has a positive impact towards customer satisfaction; (2) trust has a positive impact towards customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the influence of good corporate governance mechanisms, leverage, and firm size to the earnins management. This research applies good corporate governance mechanisms (with the proxy of managerial ownership, independent commissioner on the board, and audit committee), leverage, and firm size as independent variables, and earning management as dependent variable. The subject of the research is the manufacturing companies (limited to the consumer goods industry sector) which are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2016. The samples selection is performed by using purposive sampling method. From this method, it was collected 84 observations from 28 companies during 3 years. By using multiple regression analysis as the research method, the results shown that leverage and firm size have influenced to earning management, while good corporate governance mechanisms don’t have influence to earnings management.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the company performance of PT. YYY can be measured and evaluated by using the balanced scorecard method. The research using the balanced scorecard method aims to evaluate four important perspectives at PT. YYY which includes financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective, and growth and learning perspective in the period of the year 2013 to 2017.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Leadership and Innovativeness on Business Performance at PT. Bahtera Bestari Shipping. This research method using quantitative method. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 100 employees of PT. Bahtera Bestari Shipping Shipping then data processed with SPSS program, after which the data is analyzed by using regression analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between Inovativeness and business performance of 69.2%. For the Leadership variable itself does not have an impact on business performance due to a decrease in the variables. The results of the analysis show that the influence between leadership and innovation variables on business performance where the company must develop innovation to develop the company's performance in order to maintain the company in the era of globalization competition in the world of shipping so that the company is able to diversify at international level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the loan to deposit ratio variable, debt to equity ratio and return on investment to net interest margins. Research in I took conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as the subject of research. Data were analyzed statistically through panel data regression analysis with the help of the Eviews program. The results of the analysis show that: (1) Loan to deposit ratio has a significant influence on net interest margin, (2) Debt to equity ratio does not have a significant effect on net interest margin, and (3) Return on investment has a significant effect on net interest margin. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on the net interest margin.

Abstract

In past few years, Indonesian people have a lot of interest in traveling and other outdoor activities like hiking, camping, etc. People start to explore the beauty of Indonesia and it impacts to the increase in Indonesia tourism. This condition makes many people looking for stuffs to support their outdoor activities. This increasing demand stimulates many local companies produce outdoor gear and this market facing a tighter competition than before. The purpose of this research is to analyze the proper strategy for PT. XYZ in facing the market competition. Defining internal and external factors of the company are important in formulating the alternative strategies. Therefore, this research use descriptive qualitative method and using CPM Matrix, IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, SWOT Matrix, IE Matrix, and QSPM to find out the suitable strategy which will help the company survive in market competition. In final result, the suitable strategy for PT. XYZ is developing the waterproof product (shoes and carrier) for tropical product.

Abstract

The rule of banking is very important in an economy because in its operational activities the bank has several functions, such as an intermediary functions that bridges the interests of the party who has excess fund (creditor funds) with the party in need of fund (borrower / debtor).  Based on the provisions of  Bank Indonesia that in order to maintain the security of cutomers, all Indonesian banking institution are obliged to report their performance to The Financial Service Authority (OJK) and always adhere to the provisions of the law prevailing in the region of Indonesia.  Therefore all banking institution in Indonesia will be assessed its performance by using CAMEL Methods,with five aspects of banking assessment such as Capital, Assets, Managements, Earning and Liquidity. This assessment  is  quantitative descriptive research method. For the result, we used a primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data in the form of financial statements balance sheet and income statement of PT BPR XYZ between 2014 to 2016. According to health assessment Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR), based on Decree of the Board of Directors of Bank Indonesia No.30/12/KEP/DIR/1997, The result of financial statement PT BPR XYZ of three years period (2014 – 2016) assessments and based on some benchmarks to determine the reliability of the bank after assessment of each variable, we found that the PT BPR XYZ has good banking performance (credit score more than 81 which is the minimum score of good banking performance).

Abstract

Free Trade Area ( FTA ) is a part of globalization. In order to support the economy, Indonesian government provides many facilities in taxation. One of them is through the bonded zone facility. Bonded zone is given to company which using export as their main activities. In this research, the authors want to analyze the supervision of this facility and the influence of the bonded zone toward cash flow, tax expenses and export activity of PT. XYZ. This study used descriptive qualitative method, where the author observed directly in the field through interviews. Primary data used are interview and literatures, documents of PT. XYZ and regulation used as secondary data. This study limits the period of PT. XYZ before accepting the bonded zone facility and afterhand, ie 2016-2017. The results of this research found that there is still a weakneeses in terms of supervision but the savings in terms of taxation need to be considered. Therefore, the authors analized that this bonded area facility is worth maintaining.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity and earning growth partially and simultaneously to stock return of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2008-2015. The populations in this research are all companies of coal mining industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method, consisting of 8 companies. Based on the type of data and analysis, this research is quantitative research and the data source used is secondary data. Data collection method used is direct observation method. Based on multiple linear regression test, it can be concluded that debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity have significant and positive influence toward stock return with significant value below 0.05, while earning growth have no influence toward stock return with significant value 0.9. Simultaneously, all the independent variables significantly influence the stock return with significant value 0.000143. Based on the coefficient of determination can be concluded that all the independent variables affect the financial performance by 26.92%.

Abstract

The good quality of the service is one of important aspect for any restaurants, especially for various old restaurants in Jakarta to stay in the completion in this industry. In this research, the researcher used XYZ Restaurant as the object of this research to give feedback to XYZ Restaurant to know whether their service quality has already met their customers' expectation, so that XYZ Restaurant can keep competing in this global competition. XYZ Restaurant is Chinese Food restaurant that can be said has been long enough in this industry, We live in the era where food and restaurant business is continuously expanding in Indonesia, whether in a similar business or not, from traditional as well modern. Writer used service quality for the method in this research and dimensions that measured are tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy, in which compares perception or what customer’s feels compared with what customer expect from the dimensions. From the calculations performed by the writer, overall, XYZ Restaurant score of service quality is negative it means perception score is lower than expectation score. Therefore, XYZ Restaurant need to fix dimension of Tangibility and Assurance, because is lower than customer’s expectation. Meanwhile for reliability dimension, Responsiveness dimension and Empathy dimension have to be in keep because its already higher than customer expectation. Overall, XYZ Restaurant need to fix their service quality because their service is haven’t meet customer’s expectation.
