Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of District Development Program (DDP) contribution in reducing poverty in South Sulawesi and the supporting and inhibiting factors for DDP in reducing poverty in Jeneponto Regency. To prove this research, the analytical tools used are the tabulation method on the respondent's statement, and the criteria range as a category measure to identify the extent to which the respondent's view of an object. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of DDP activities received good responses from various circles of society, especially in villages / sub-districts as indicated by the results of data analysis where DDP activities had an influence on poverty alleviation. 2) The implementation of DDP activities not only seeks to alleviate poverty but also seeks to carry out training activities in efforts to develop village community businesses. It is proven from the results of data analysis showing good responses where there is an influence on community business development. 3) As for the constraints in the field is the limited time, funds and field extension personnel so that implementation in the field is still not optimal

Abstract

This research aims to develop applications that can relieve the public in knowing or doing zakat calculations.Where researchers directly visit the research object, BAZNAS (Badan Amil Zakat Nasional) Palopo City to obtain data and information about zakat calculation.The app uses the waterfall model as its development method. This waterfall model is a system or software development that has six levels, namely system design, analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. This zakat calculation application uses Android Studio.in the maker of this application uses PHP and MySQL as its data storage database and uses Black Box Testing as a testing system.With the application of zakat calculation, which can relieve the community to do zakat calculation and facilitate baznas in conveying the provisions of the price of gold and rice.

Abstract

Educational Games are an inseparable part of children’s learning in kindergarten. The availability of these games really supports the implementation of children’s learning effectively. Besides that, it also make children’s learning fun so that they can develop various potentials that are owned optimally. Interview, direct observation and questionnaires are used in this research. The subject of this research were children aged 5-6 years and one teacher. The instruments of this study were Teacher Activity Observation Sheet (LPAG), Learning Management Sheet (LPP), Teacher Response Questionnaire (ARG). This research used both qualitative and quantitative approached. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the effectiveness of this study can be seen from the validation of the validation results from the validator, who has validated guidelines, semester programs, weekly activity plans, daily activities plans, observation sheets for children's activities, results of teacher validation questionnaires teacher.

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) atau Sains merupakan bidang studi yang umumnya dianggap sulit oleh para siswa (Pelajar) dan mahasiswa. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan oleh para peneliti untuk mengatasi kesulitan itu. Namun, hasilnya sampai sekarang bidang studi IPA masih tetap dianggap sulit. Rupanya, penelitian selama ini umumnya melihat sisi peserta didik atau siswanya. Dengan kata lain, umumnya peneliti meneliti peserta didik atau siswa. Jarang peneliti yang mencoba melihat sisi Pendidik atau Gurunya. Padahal, mungkin saja sulitnya pelajaran IPA selama ini di karenakan rendahnya kemampuan pendidik atau guru IPA dalam mentringger kemampuan peserta didik untuk menguasai IPA. Salah satu penyebab sulitnya memahami IPA adalah adanya guru IPA yang kurang ramah dalam mengajarkan IPA dan kurangnya keterampilan berfikir kreatif peserta didik yang mempelajari IPA itu. Terlihat bahwa para calon guru SD yang nantinya akan mengajarkan mata pelajaran IPA atau tema ke-IPA-an harus dibekali keterampilan mengajar yang ramah dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif agar dapat mengantarkan para siswa mencintai IPA atau tema ke-IPA-an secara khusus dan mengakses keterampilan berfikir kreatif para siswa yang di ajarnya yang selanjutnya akan mengakses kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai bidang studi IPA atau tema-tema ke-IPA-an. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan informasi tentang persentas tingkat keterampilan mengajar yang ramah dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif serta mengetahui bagaimana keefektifan implementasi model pembelajaran humanitis berbasisi teknologi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan keterampilan belajar yang ramah dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif calon gurub SD. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas 26C Program Studi Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar IPA FIP UNM Kampus IV Bone, Jumlah subyek adalah 24 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2018/2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-eksperimen yang di desain “One Group Pretest-Posttest” . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rata-rata persentase tingkat pencapaian keterampilan mengajar IPA ramah anak dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif calon guru SD Prodi PGSD FIP Universitas Negeri Makassar kampus VI Bone adalah masing-masing 29.4% dan 42.97 %. Dapat dikatakan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Humanistis berbasisi teknologi pembelajaran efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar IPA yang ramah anak dan keterampilan berfikir kreati calon guru SD Prodi PGSD Bone FIP Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to find out the preparation, implementation and outcomes of Remedial program of IPA Natural Science Subject of Secondary Schools in Makassar city. Sample of this research were 24 Science teachers selected from 8 Secondary Schools with A certification in Makassar city. This is a descriptive research which employed an ex-post facto method on remedial program implementation of Science teacher of secondary schools based on curriculum 2013. The Instrument used to collect data were by observation sheet, collection were by observation, interview guideline, and camera for documentation. Technique of data collection were by observation, interview, and documentation.The instrument was tested by the 2 experts who validated and analyzed the instrument by items validation through score number. The analysis was conducted by data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The result indicates that the Science teachers is on the fair category ( 77,00%). In conducting the remedial program preparation.The teachers have conducted the remedial program by organizing the lesson plan by preparing the regular material, remedial material, and enrichment material according to Regulation of Education and Cultur Ministry No 103 year 2014. The implementation of remedial program by Science teachers is on thr fair category (73,27%). Teachers have implemented the remedial program, even though the implementation was not fully meet the technical instruction of the program. The outcomes of remedial program implementation of Science subject is on the low category (63,75%). Decresing of remedial program result caused by preparing and applicated remedial program doing by teacher on the fair category, and given effect to result of remedial program. Abstract

The Impact of the Zoom Application on Online Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the Zoom application in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The essence of the problem is what are the processes, constraints, and variations in the form of applying the Zoom application to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic? In this study using a qualitative research type. The population in this study were students of the State University of Makassar, while the sample selection was students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Department who conducted lectures by applying the zoom application in their lectures provided by the lecturer. The results of the analysis found that the Zoom application is the application that many lecturers choose to interact directly, the variation of online learning used in the zoom application is to combine various other learning applications, namely Kelase, Google Classroom, Google Form, What Up, and others. The constraints faced are the large amount of data or quotas in use, even the material described is not finished because the effective time provided by Zoom is only 40 minutes, also with unsupportive signals, so that sometimes exiting the application, and the difficulty of collecting tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find and describe the embodiment of cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik text, and (2) the relevance of cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik text to the character education of high school students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The object of research is the various cultural values ​​contained in the Sinrilik Kappalak Tallumbatua text and their relevance to character education for high school students. The data in this study are in the form of paragraphs, sentences, and words related to cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik Text and the 1993 translation of Aburaerah Arief and Zainuddin Hakim and the curriculum for high school level Makassar Language subjects. Collecting research data through reading - listening techniques and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique is through reading, identification, classification, analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) Cultural values ​​include; (a) cultural values ​​in human relations with God which consist of piety, piety, belief in destiny, gratitude, and desire, (b) cultural values ​​in human relations with society which consist of values ​​of deliberation, mutual cooperation, harmony or balance . and solidarity, (c) cultural values ​​in human relations with each other, which consist of the values ​​of love, loyalty, obedience to parents, and wisdom, (d) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself which consist of the values ​​of willingness, learning, respect high in customs and religion, courage and vigilance, and (e) cultural values ​​in the relationship between humans and nature, consisting of human values ​​that are integrated with nature and humans who control or exploit nature. (2) The text of the Sinrilik Kappalak Tallumbatua is very relevant to character education for high school students, including religious character, honesty, hard work, love of peace, responsibility, love for the country

Abstract

Speaking skills and parental educational background are thought to have a strong influence on language politeness in daily communication. The speaking skills and educational background of parents in this study are intended to determine their effect on improving language politeness of Makassar State University students. This study used a pre-experimental method. The instrument used in the study was a test, namely pretest and postest. The results showed that the application of the speaking skills teaching material model can improve language politeness. The results of the second study indicate that the educational background of parents can influence the improvement of students' language politeness. Although, when compared to the increase in test results between groups of students with educational backgrounds of parents who graduated from S1, the effect was not significant.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the use of an authentic material as teaching media to motivate students in learning English. The writer used qualitative design with the total number of samples in this research being 40 students. The researcher applied questionnaire and interview. The researcher analyzed the data using interactive model of analysis. In analyzing the numerical data, the writer used SPSS for windows. After conducted the research, the writer concludes that authentic materials can improve the students to understand the real context used by native speaker, improve students’ knowledge, Improve students’ English competence in both spoken and written, improve students’ vocabulary, introduce the culture of native speaker, improve students’ listening ability, motivate students to learn, motivate students to learn autonomously and it is compulsory subject from the school.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to know the use of scrabble game can reinforce EFLYoung Learners vocabulary. The writer was applied pre experimental with one group pre-test and post-test. This research was conducted at SMPN 35 Makassar sub-district of Biringkanaya, Makassar city. In this research, the population was the seven grade students of SMPN 35 Makassar in academic year 2016/2017. The total numbers of population were 240 students. The researcher was used total sampling technique. The total number of samples was 30 students from class VII-1. In analyzing the numerical data, the writer used SPSS for windows. After conducted the research, the writer concludes that the use of Scramble Game in teaching English vocabulary enriches the students’ vocabulary; it is proved by the mean score of the students’ in pre-test and posttest. The mean score of the pre-test before the treatment was 57.40 and after the treatment the students gained score 74.67. The t-test of the students’ vocabulary achievement in posttest was smaller than α. The researcher found that the p-value (probability value) was lower than α (0.00 < 0.05) and the degree of freedom was 29. The t-test value of pre-test and post-test was remarked significantly different. It indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and, of course, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected.
