Abstract

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, teachers are required to carry out online learning. They may utilize technology in implementing the learning. They can choose one of interesting and interactive learning media in order to motivate their students and to promote learning. Based on the preliminary study in SMK PGRI 3 Kediri, it was found out that many teachers had not utilized the available learning platform. They only applied the application they were familiar to support their online learning, such as WhatsApp, Google Class, and Google Meet. Realizing the facts, the community service team carried out a training for the teachers to use interactive platform as media for learning, called Edmodo. The objectives the program were to train the teachers to use Edmodo platform for interactive learning, that included how to make new Edmodo accounts, how to make use the available facilities in Edmodo, and to train the school administrator to manage the program. The training was carried out in one month using in-and-on basis. The results of the training were that all teachers have already had Edmodo accounts and their account are connected with Edmodo group, which could be monitored by the school administrator.

Abstract

The elderly are vulnerable individuals, so their health needs to be improved. Knowledge of the elderly about maintaining health also needs to be improved. One way to improve the health of the elderly is through elderly exercise. The purpose of this implementation is to increase the knowledge of elderly about elderly exercise. The implementation method is divided into three stages. The first stage is to make preparations (coordination with partners, for example, caregivers), the next stage is to carry out activities (implementing counseling and simulation of elderly exercise), and the last stage is evaluation. The implementation was carried out in RW 6 Balowerti on 2-7 June 2021. This implementation was followed by 38 elderly. Based on the results, pretest were obtained almost half (47.4%) of the elderly had less knowledge levels, in the posttest it was found that most (57.9%) of the elderly had a good level of knowledge. From the results of the test, it can be concluded that there is an influence of health education and simulation of elderly exercise on the level of knowledge of the elderly.

Abstract

The actually, many mothers experience difficulties and face several problems during the breastfeeding process after discharge. Mothers when control at hospital asked their problems. The aim are to help mothers to solved their problems after discharge with We Chat through giving information about breastfeeding, which is a means of providing nutrition for newborns. And companion mother four weeks. One way to help the problems of mothers in the breastfeeding process is to provide knowledge related to breastfeeding both for pregnant women at the end of their pregnancy with gestational age above 35 weeks and post-natal mothers as preparation and assistance in breastfeeding which is facilitated by health workers. The output target of this activity is to increase the knowledge and behavior of breastfeeding directly and confidently. The results of the PKM are attended by 60 participants, who were willing to assist 28 pregnant and lactating women. There are 12 pregnant women and the rest are breastfeeding. The level of knowledge of respondents is only 30% who know the signs of a baby being satisfied with breastfeeding, taking turns breastfeeding, and the importance of breastfeeding at night. After being given knowledge and assistance, respondents experienced an increase of almost 70%. The average participant has low self-confidence at the beginning, after mentoring it can reach almost 90%. The failure factor occurs because they have used a pacifier to provide nutrition, so direct breastfeeding takes a long time. This WeChat program is carried out for one month in the Tangerang and Cibubur areas. Breastfeeding support through the WeChat program uses whatsup media for tele counseling, namely one by one in the breastfeeding process from the beginning to practicing independently with confidence in breastfeeding.

Abstract

With the covid-19 pandemic, this makes learning different from usual, namely before the covid-19 pandemic learning was carried out face-to-face in school, but with the covid-19 pandemic as it is now finally learning is carried out remotely using the help of technology. Technological readiness both in terms of teachers as educators, the readiness of parents in providing facilities to students at home, and the readiness of students as implementers of distance learning must be prepared in advance so that learning can run smoothly. The purpose of community service activities is to assist teachers in using technology-based learning media for learning optimization. The steps used to overcome partner problems are: 1) program socialization; 2) training and practice in using technology-based learning media for learning optimization; 3) assistance; And 4) Monitoring. From the devotional activities that have been done, it is known that the enthusiasm of teachers in following ini mentoring shows high enthusiasm. This is evident from the strong willingness of teachers to be willing to understand and practice in creating modules using the Flip PDF application.

Abstract

The purpose of this technology integration program in learners is to learn about how to make interesting learning videos and apply e-learning. It is hoped that in this community service activity, teachers can master interactive and interesting learning media in the form of learning videos and apply them to e-learning. The implementation of this community service activity is in the form of presentations regarding the introduction of learning media, OBS software, e-learning, and how to make learning videos. The method used is the preparation of materials and software, implementation methods related to how to operate OBS software, and e-learning and practical methods are carried out in the form of making interactive learning video media according to the material taught by the teacher. The evaluation was carried out in this training by observing the differences in the skills of teachers in making learning videos after the implementation of the training. Based on the results that have been achieved. The evaluation of the results training was assessed from the participation and practical assignments of making interactive videos according to the material taught by the teacher. Then the results of making interactive learning videos are implemented in the schools of each SD/MI teacher.

Abstract

Cengkok Village, Tarokan District, Kediri Regency has experienced a decrease in the quality and quantity of community income. Apart from being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, floods often occur. In addition to material and non-material impacts, it also has a direct impact on the economic sector in the village. To improve the economic sector, the service team was moved to help find a way out of the problems of Cengkok Village, especially the economic sector. The purpose of this service is to carry out mentoring and development of MSMEs so that the community can improve the economy and the community can still run their business amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is the planning stage, the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The results achieved were the socialization of SME entrepreneurship, socialization of catfish empowerment, distribution of catfish seeds to some people. With the MSME Entrepreneurship Socialization, Catfish Empowerment Socialization, and the distribution of catfish seeds, it can improve the economy of the Cengkok Village community during the COVID-19 pandemic and after the flood.

Abstract

The forest management based on deep local wisdom has existed in the history of the Aceh community since the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda. That is by applying the Forest Customary Law through the Forest Pawang Customary Institution. This Customary institution has a very important and strategic role in educating and inviting forest communities to be involved in forest management based on local wisdom. This service activity aims to increase understanding with village apparatus and traditional institutions in forest management based on local wisdom. This service is carried out through socialization and legal counseling in North Aceh District, namely: Sawang, Nisam, Langkahan, Pirak Timu, Paya Bakong and Geuredong Pasee sub-districts, because these districts still have high forest intensity. The results of this activity have provided an understanding for gampong apparatus and customary institutions in forest management and built an intensive communication network between village apparatus, traditional institutions and the district leadership meeting so that they can work together in protecting and conserving the forest. It is recommended to the village apparatus and customary institutions to immediately form the Forest Pawang Customary Institution and Village Qanun regarding forest management.

Abstract

COVID-19 has been countered in the community by implementing health protocols and providing COVID-19 vaccines in order to prevent transmission, morbidity, and mortality. This program is one of the promotion activities of using print media and mobile broadcasts to educate the public about health protocols and COVID-19 vaccines in mass. The goal of this project is to improve public access to health-related information and COVID-19 vaccines. The PRECEDE-PROCEED method has been used to plan the program, and the fishbone method has been used to analyze the reasons of the problem, followed by the implementation stage and evaluation. The activities leads to the formation of a collaboration with the District Health Office to create a variety of printed health promotion media, as well as the implementation of mobile broadcasts using official operational automobiles that directly target community. Several communities and health promotion officers from the local health office participated in the evaluation, which received a positive response using a simple online questionnaire instrument. Suggestions for relevant health organizations to keep improving IEC media with current information and mobile broadcasting operations so that they might reach out to other people in areas that are crowded but also have limited access to health information on a regular basis.

Abstract

The pandemic era has brought us to situations where social and physical restrictions are demanded. Therefore, like it or not, school principals and supervisors must change the supervision strategy carried out on their teachers and their target schools. Changing supervision strategy needs to be done because learning is no longer done face-to-face in the classroom but online and through clinical supervision activities. However, the problems found indicate that the implementation of clinical supervision has not been optimal because: (1) principals have not effectively carried out their duties as supervisors, such as monitoring, managing, and collaborating with teachers to improve learning. (2) teachers do not yet have adequate skills in managing classes and improving the learning process. (3) teachers and principals are not accustomed to using clinical supervision mobile learning to assist supervision activities in increasing their professionalism. The training activities include the introduction and use of clinical supervision mobile learning, practical sessions on using clinical supervision mobile learning, and mentoring. The training participants consisted of teachers, school principals, and supervisors. The methods used are socialization, training, and focus group discussions. After the training, participants gained new knowledge about mobile learning clinical supervision training. In addition, participants could practice the stages in utilizing clinical supervision mobile learning. Based on the evaluation results, participants argued that this application is essential and relevant for use during covid 19 pandemic conditions.

Abstract

In order to reduce the incidence of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health has thoroughly vaccinated including residents around Jenderal Achmad Yani University, but they don’t know the number of antibodies formed after the COVID-19 vaccination. This activity aims to provide information to residents around UNJANI regarding the number of specific antibodies that their bodies have successfully formed after the COVID-19 vaccination. A total of 50 local residents who have received the COVID-19 vaccination were invited to take part in this activity. Specific antibodies in the participants' blood were examined using the Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. The results that have been validated by doctors are informed to the participants. Through laboratory examination, it was found that 66% of participants succeeded in forming specific antibodies above 7 U/ml and 34% of participants below 7 U/ml. The target of this activity has been achieved, residents around UNJANI can find out the number of specific antibodies they have successfully formed after the COVID-19 vaccination.
