Abstract

Child education holds a major influence on the child's future. Today, many children who are damaged morally even have many problems in the world of child education. As a result children deviate even fall into criminal acts. To foster children's education in the aspects of family, school and society it is important for educators to introduce these three aspects. In introducing these three aspects, there must have been a lot of thoughts of figures discussing children's education, one of which was Zakiah Daradjat. Zakiah Daradjat is the only thinker who instills the concept of education based on Islamic scholarship on children's education in families, schools and communities. He is a female figure in Indonesia who has put a lot of attention in various fields including education, morals, the lives of children, youth, teachers, families and schools. The results of this discussion are (1) the concept of children's education in the family aspect perspective Zakiah Daradjat includes parents to be role models for children, cultivation of soul and taqwa given to children, (2) the concept of child education in the school aspect perspective Zakiah Daradjat includes mental, moral guidance , religious education conducted intensively and talent then fosters children's intelligence, (3) relevance of the concept of child education in family aspects and school aspects of perspective Zakiah Daradjat with the aim of Islamic education in the family aspect is the experience received by children, in the aspect of school, namely intelligence, whereas in the aspect of society namely the achievement of education in a real society.

Abstract

Not only does Islam teach how to strengthen the faith, but it also teaches how a development of the culture is built. This makes sense because Islam came to the Arab society that was not an empty civilization. They had already a complete and noble culture, so the preliminary faith expression of Islam was often related to certain tradition. This what so called cultural hybridization occurred mostly in the early beginning of Islam. This condition was somehow covered by political interests and/or conflicts among sahabat, even though at that time the development of the culture was continuously going on.

Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional Islamic education institution, is an original institution that is owned by Indonesia and has its own unique characteristics. It is said to be unique because the pesantren has a traditional education mechanism tecnicals and has a tradition that not all educational institutions have. The rapid flow of globalization has threatened the existence of pesantren, so that the concept of modernization emerged in the pesantren environment to answer the challenges of the all-modern globalization in all aspects. This study aims to show a comprehensive picture, idea, and concept in the attitude of pesantren facing the era of modernization so that the existence of boarding schools remains by combining the concept of traditional education with modern education without leaving the characteristics of pesantren education that has become the identity of a pesantren. This research is a qualitative study of literature (library research) using documentation methods and using the type of taxonomy analysis that is analysis that focuses attention on a particular domain that is very useful to describe the phenomenon or problem that is the target of the study. This research resulted in modernization described by KH. Abdurrahman Wahid is a response to the condition of Islamic Education, especially pesantren in the present. Modernization is conceptualized in order to provide input or solutions to Islamic education, especially pesantren, so that its existence is maintained in the current era of globalization. The existence of pesantren with the challenges of modernization according to KH. Abdurrahman Wahid must be defended by constantly developing pesantren from various aspects of economics, social culture, revitalization in scientific education, revitalization in humansizm dinamics education, and especially education in pesantren.

Abstract

This article discusses portrait and segmentation of mad'u / da'wah audience in the development of media in Indonesia. Using descriptive analysis and audience concept from Dennis McQuail it was found that da'wah activities are basically always segmented, where messages and patterns of da'wah will always try to be adapted to the context of the audience. Correspondingly, da'wah activities and movements have emerged and evolved in various forms mediated by the mass media (print, radio and television) which are linear in nature and categorize the medium as a passive audience, while preaching activities mediated by new media (digital ) non-linear nature categorizes the madness as an active audience. This active category of mad'u passive-mad'u also has consequences and challenges such as the adaptation of the format of da'wah in the media, the commodification of religion, the shift of religious authority (preachers), the exposure of radicalism, it produce hoaxes, and echo chambers namely echo space that contains the views of people who think the same and one taste so it does not produce a good dialogue.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the Law on Public Information Openness (UU KIP) is to encourage the creation of transparency in public information services to the public. The goal is at the same time as an effort to realize the implementation of democratic governance and good governance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the UU KIP in promoting transparency in public services in East Java. The research method used in this study is a normative-empirical research method. The data analysis method used is descriptive-analytical. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the KIP Law in encouraging transparency in public services has not been able to be carried out optimally, as evidenced by the still many complaints and public information disputes that entered the East Java Information Commission.

Abstract

Developing powerful communications technology has created unlimited free communication. The negative impact of this phenomenon is when a culture that is not good from the outside is swallowed out by children who are still young. As a result, it will easily experience cultural dislocation. One of the legacies of local wisdom that are not interested in the midst of the community is the Javanese dolanan song. Therefore all efforts must be sought from the very beginning. These efforts can be done through various ways, including habituation of children to play and sing songs (songs) dolanan Javanese, which actually contains a lot of character values. This study included a descriptive study, a case study at PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. This study aims to describe; 1. Describe the form of character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. 2. Describe the strategy for implementing character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. 3. Describe the results of character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. This research includes field research using a qualitative approach. In collecting data, the author uses the method of interviews, observation, and documentation as a data collection technique. The technique chosen in data analysis is data reduction, data display and conclusions or verification. From this study it can be seen that: 1. the form of character education in PAS Islamic Kindergarten Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan is a local widom-based character education (local wisdom) in the form of Javanese dolanan songs. There are three dolanan songs used for character planting, namely Sluku-sluku Bathok, gundul-gundul Pachol and Menthok-menthok. 2. The strategy for the implementation of character education in PAS Islamic Kindergarten Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan is to use reflective methods. This can be proven by giving an explanation of moral values ​​to students, after the song is finished the song is sung both in class before the core lesson begins or while playing outside the classroom. 3. The results of character education at PAS Islam Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Kindergarten have fulfilled the values ​​of the basic characters, namely: a. Respectful and polite character through greeting each other and shaking hands. b. This character of independence and responsibility can be seen from throwing garbage in its place.

Abstract

The thinking skills are indispensable in the context of the learning approach, as it is a scientific thinking process aimed at growing the expected personality. It also affects the learning process and the ability to develop its goals through strengthening attitudes, skills and knowledge in an integrated way. The process includes activities: observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating. In the course of the school curriculum in Indonesia and its learning process, the strengthening of cognitive and skill aspects is still dominant, while the attitude (spiritual and social) is still lacking, but this attitude will support the learning activities oriented to cultivation of character. Because the curriculum and the previous learning process still appear to be opposite and have not indicated the process of achieving competence in the attitude aspect, the curriculum of the school applied today is tailored to that need. So as to accommodate the elements of personality that include: beliefs, values, and behavior as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to review the implementation of the Islamic Education Curriculum at Jombang High School. The focus of the study is to find out the aspects of knowledge, completeness, teaching and learning processes, and assessments conducted by PAI Teachers using the CIPP assessment model conceptual framework developed by Stufflebeam. This study uses a qualitative approach using data collection tools such as interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of this study indicate that the principals in high schools has understood the objectives and implemented the Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) for PAI subjects.The results of study also found that (1) PAI teachers have understood objectively KTSP for PAI (2) PAI teachers have made learning plans (3) PAI teachers have carried out teaching and learning processes based on Islamic religious education curriculum (4) PAI teachers have also implemented two forms assessment, namely the assessment of the process and the semester exam. In addition, the results of the study also show that students have understood the knowledge conveyed by the teacher and obtained the results of tests that are in accordance with the assessment standards determined by the school and the teacher.

Abstract

Pembacaan terhadap sebuah teks tidak bisa dipahami secara mandiri. Untuk mendapatkan sebuah pemahaman yang utuh dari pesan yang hendak disampaikan oleh teks setidaknya akan melibatkan tiga komponen, yaitu penulis / pengarang (author), teks (text), dan juga pembaca (reader). Pemahaman teks secara mandiri tanpa melibatkan ketiga komponen tersebut sangat rentan terhadap kesalahan dalam proses pemahaman teks itu sendiri. Hal ini tidak lain karena pemikiran yang dituangkan oleh penulis / pengarang tidak selamanya mampu tertuang secara komprehensif dalam bentuk teks, dalam artian teks yang ada hanyalah sebagian dari pemikiran yang ada dalam otak penulis. Sehingga menghadirkan penulis dalam proses pembacaan teks menjadi sesuatu yang sangat penting. Faktor lain yang menjadi kendala dalam proses pembacaan teks adalah konteks dimana teks tersebut dilahirkan. Tidak sedikit pembacaan terhadap teks menjadi gagal karena pembaca tidak memperhatikan konteks kemunculan teks tersebut. Namun memunculkan ketiga komponen tersebut –terutama pengarang-, bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah, karena terdapat tabir tempat, jarak dan waktu antara pengarang dan pembaca. Kendala dalam mendapatkan pemahaman yang sesuai dengan pesan yang hendak disampaikan oleh teks dalam pembacaan teks ini berusaha dipecahkan oleh Komaruddin Hidayat melalui konsep hermeneutikanya yang kemudian lebih dikenal dengan penafsiran intertekstualitas
