Abstract

The aim of this research is for explaining the effects of field study model on social study results of elementary school students. This research is a quasi experimental with two subjects, that is experimental and control group. Learning results of both classes is measured by pretest and posttest, than that gain scores is calculated for further analysis. Data is analyzed by independent sample t test and processed by computer SPSS 16.0 for Windows program. The research results show that the field study model has a significant effect on social learning results. The average of gain score in experimental class is 17,81, while in control class is 12,42. Analysis process by independent sample t test show that data results show ñ value on 0,006 level. That value is more less than 0,05 (ñ<0,05). So the conclusion is ”the field study model has a significant effect on social study results of elementary school students”.

Abstract

Permendiknas number 22 of 2006 which the states that the approach use teaching in elementary school low grade (grade I, II, and III) is a thematic learning. Learners class one, two, and three are in the range early age that they see everything as a whole (holistic) so that learning is still dependent on concrete objects and experiences that happened. Thematic learning with real object can help memory students last long, because the real object of abstract concepts could be real.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to solve problems using fractions Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) students of class V SDN Sentol Laok. The subjects were students of class V SDN Sentol Laok many as 22 students. The experiment was conducted in three cycles., each cycle were two meetings that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflections. The data collection techniques used testing, observation, interviews, and documentations. This validity of data used triangulation techniques and triangulation of data sources. Data analysis applied the analysis of qualitative data and quantitative data. The results showed that the use of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can enhance problem solving abilities fractions fifth grade students of SDN Sentol Laok.

Abstract

This research uses classroom action research methods to improve the learning conditions of students in class V SDN Pajagalan II Academic Year 2017. The subjects of this research is class VA class consisting of 40 students. The research instrument used was direct observation techniques and the use of learning achievement tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. According to the results of data analysis known that an increase in student achievement from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle the number of children who completed the study were 65% and on this cycle increases by about 25% to the value of completeness achieved was 90%. The average value of grade achieved in the previous cycle is 72.5 rose to 78.4, up 5.9 points. And the percentage of classical completeness has shown satisfactory results, namely 90%.

Abstract

Research using a Class Action Research. The research subjects were students of class V SDN East Batubelah Subdistrict of 20 students. Individual circumstances of students is quite diverse aspects of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Results showed that student learning outcomes after the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning in grade students of SDN Batubelah Eastern District of Year 2017 can be achieved significantly higher after implementing intensive measures in accordance with procedures specified learning. In the previous cycles is known that the percentage of the value of mastery is achieved is 30% increased by about 60% so that the percentage of classical completeness in this cycle to 90%. The average value of the class also increased the plume. In previous cycles the average grade achieved was 63. In this cycle the value of the average grade achieved was 80. Then there was an increase of about 17 points. And the average value of the class in this cycle has demonstrated the value above minimum completeness criteria (KKM) with both criteria.

Abstract

The characteristics of material scientific approach to learning materials based on facts or phenomena that can be explained by a certain logic or reasoning; teacher’s explanation, the response of learners and educational interaction teacher-learners free of prejudice necessarily, subjective thinking or reasoning which deviated from the groove to think logically; encourage and inspire students to think critically, analytically and precisely identify, understand, solve problems, and apply the learning materials; encourage and inspire students to think hypothetically in seeing the differences, similarities, and link to each other of learning materials; encourage and inspire students to understand, implement, and develop ways of thinking rationally and objectively in response to learning materials; based on concepts, theories and empirical facts that can be accounted for; learning objectives formulated in a simple, clear, and attractive presentation systems.

Abstract

Using the internet has become a routine most people. A wide variety of interesting social networking site became connoisseurs choice of media, one of which is the social network Facebook. The existence of facebook of course have positive and negative effects. As one of the negative impacts of the use of facebook is used as a medium where do bullying. The act of cyberbullying usually occurs in teenagers. The study aims to analyze how bullying occurs among students in social media using alay language, analyzed through qualitative research methods with descriptive and also with data collection using observation and documentation, the data obtained were analyzed using analysis model includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. So from the process, it can be seen how the bullying occurred among students. The result of the analysis shows that bullying behaviours really happened among child and teenagers. Based on the analysis, the type of bullying messages consist of negative called-name, slammed opinion, threatened physical harm and underestimate opinion to the victims.

Abstract

This research approach the process in lectures Practical skills in elementary school science. This study aims to determine the effect on the ability of the process skills approach doing practical science in primary schools. The research was conducted on students PGSD Open University in Surabaya, the odd semester of 2016-2017.This study is a quasi-experimental research, with pretest and posttest design. The results showed that: (1) activities with the faculty to manage learning process skills approach has very good category with a mean score of 4.03. (2) the learning activities of students in the learning process skills approach has a positive category with a mean score of 3.801. (3) Complete classical learning of 94.07% with a minimum completeness criteria of 75, (4) Students are motivated to learn by 89.62%. The results of data analysis with pretest and posttest design, for the parameters mean pretest and posttest mean shows that the skills approach effect on student learning outcomes, with a probability of 0.008.

Abstract

This study to improve the ability to deliver using Bayani Education in the grade students of SDI Gapura Timur. The subjects of the research are students of Class VI of SDI Gapura Timur with 10 students. The study was conducted in three meetings, with each meeting consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and descriptions. Technique of data collection is by test, observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data using qualitative method of research method focused on existing teaching practices of the archipelago. The author analyzed the learning process that occurred in the SDI Gapura Gapura Timur. The result shows that Bayani education can improve self-learning ability and self- learning of grade 6 students of Gapura Timur.

Abstract

Media can improve the quality of learning process. At the time of teaching, teachers must know the preferences and interest of student to the media in accordance with the psychology of his students, especially mentally disabled students. This study aims to inventory the exist- ing learning media in SDLB Saronggi Sumenep, and to know about the teacher’s efforts in improving the learning motivation of mentally disabled students by optimizing the use of ex- isting environment media in SDLB Saronggi, Sumenep. This research uses mixed methods, with research design using sequential explanatory. In SDLB Saronggi, learning media other than class, also has multipurpose room, video for learning, LCD projector, a shady schoolyard, shelves and creativity boards, fruits, props for learning, a set of traditional musical instru- ments Madura. The existence of various media can improve the motivation of learn mentally disabled students. Proven results using calculations Wilcoxon Scien R test earned value Zcount amount (-3,162), because of the score (-3,162) is a absolute score, greater than Ztable = 1,96 or (-3,162 > 1,96) then H0 rejected and Ha be accepted. It can be concluded that the environmental media around the school can improve motivation of learn mentally disabled students SDLB Saronggi.
