Abstract

Pendidikan karakter adalah suatu sistem penanaman nilai-nilai karakter kepada warga sekolah yang meliputi komponen pengetahuan, kesadaran atau kemauan, dan tindakan untuk melaksanakan nilai-nilai tersebut, baik terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa , diri sendiri, sesama, lingkungan, maupun kebangsaan sehingga menjadi manusia insan kamil. Dalam pendidikan karakter di sekolah, semua komponen (stakeholders) harus dilibatkan, termasuk komponen-komponen pendidikan itu sendiri, yaitu isi kurikulum, proses pembelajaran dan penilaian, kualitas hubungan, penanganan atau pengelolaan mata pelajaran, pengelolaan sekolah, pelaksanaan aktivitas atau kegiatan ko-kurikuler, pemberdayaan sarana prasarana, pembiayaan, dan ethos kerja seluruh warga dan lingkungan sekolah. Terlepas dari berbagai kekurangan dalam praktik pendidikan di Indonesia, apabila dilihat dari standar nasional pendidikan yang menjadi acuan pengembangan kurikulum dan implementasi pembelajaran dan penilaian di sekolah, tujuan pendidikan di SMP sebenarnya dapat dicapai dengan baik. Pembinaan karakter juga termasuk dalam materi yang harus diajarkan dan dikuasai serta direalisasikan oleh peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Permasalahannya, pendidikan karakter di sekolah selama ini baru menyentuh pada tingkatan pengenalan norma atau nilai-nilai, dan belum pada tingkatan internalisasi dan tindakan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

As a result of tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001 to make Islam cornered and in the claims as a religion that is synonymous with violence. The phenomenon of terror and violence in the claims rooted in their religious texts. Some of the western states that violence is taught and derived from the Qur'an. Identification of the west against Islam to discourse to analyze the roots of the teachings of Islam accused which represents religious teachings or religious terrorist violence. Ibrahim M. Abu Rabi make this phenomenon as a momentum to conduct a review of hahekat Islamic thought. Abu Rabi doing three approaches in starting penelaahannya, starting with the historical development of Islamic modernisatiom, education in the Islamic world, and the contemporary elite and the religious revival in the Arab world. Approach to philosophy, theology critical, socio- historical, and anthropology to the study of Islam in intimated by Abu Rabi to bring Islam to the condition that advanced to accumulate in interconection integration way think. The concept of Islamic thought through a critical historical approach which is described by Abu Rabi in his work entitled Post September 11 Critical Assessment of Modern Islamic History is, when are reflected on an integration approach interconection which elaborated and initiated by M. Amin Abdullah showed that the reconceptualization of epistemology renewal of Islamic thought through an integrative approach undoubtedly interconective is needed to quell the violence at the phenomenon, and greatly required in religious plurality in Indonesia in particular.

Abstract

Human always face many kinds of problem in their life. Some problems can solve easily, the others are difficult to solve and its causes mental disorders. As a khalifatullah in al-ardl, human has given potency to face the problems in their life. In Islamic counseling study, problem solving is the part of study that may help to answer the problem faced by human. The main study of this paper is related to strategies steps of problem solving in Islamic counseling perspective.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that try to shape the behavior of their people. The existence of Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions still maintains their traditional education system has a big influence on the lives of Indonesian people. As an institution that produces human beings who are religious-minded, pesantren certainly must produce santri (qualified and beneficial for the surrounding community. Kiai leadership as a spiritual leader in uniting hearts, arranging hearts, equating perceptions, strategies and steps is an effort to foster family relationships that The leadership of the Kiai uses a religious approach, kinship and humanity.The development of the quality of santri education is an effort that is carried out consciously, directed and continuous to introduce and instill religious understanding to the santri, so that they know, believe and practice it in understanding make it a guide to life personal, community, national and state development of student input quality is carried out through guidance, teaching, training, and learning experience activities, Kiai as the leader of an Islamic educational institution is not only in charge of compile the curriculum, make rules and regulations, design an evaluation system, as well as carry out the teaching and learning process that is related to the religious sciences in the institution they care for, but also serves as a coach and educator of the people and become community leaders.

Abstract

ASEAN Economic Society forces the workers to compete for employment opportunities in ASEAN countries, especially local workers from South East Asia. The workers who have high job competition absolutely receive more benefit than others. Improving human resources is needed to face this situation, especially for University graduates, to create international graduates who have professional skills, language skills, and cross-cultural skills. To fulfill the international standard, the University must increase their lecturer quality, curriculum, and facilities. Universities are also to develop good cooperation ability with others institution and development student’s activity unit which is expected to create educated and skilled human resources. Indonesia will become the big country and capable of being “Man of the Match” or it could even be worse because of the its competition as the of joining MEA.

Abstract

Fakta perempuan bekerja bukan menjadi hal yang aneh di era modern dan teknologi canggih sekarang ini. Sudah menjadi hal biasa apabila kita jumpai pekerjaan yang biasa dilakukan laki-laki juga dilakukan oleh perempuan. Persoalan gender dalam bidang pekerjaan sudah semakin cair karena tidak adanya pembatasan tentang pekerjaan laki-laki dan pekerjaan perempuan. Kondisi tersebut paradoks dengan pemaknaan konsep bekerja menurut manhaj Salafi. Mereka tetap berpegang teguh pada aturan, prinsip, dan keyakinan yang membedakan dan membatasi jenis pekerjaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Meyakini bahwa tempat terbaik bagi perempuan adalah di wilayah privat. Apabila dimungkinkan perempuan bekerja di luar rumah haruslah memenuhi aturan dan adab yang telah ditentukan oleh manhaj Salafi. Tulisan refleksi ini berusaha menggali lebih dalam praktik kekerasan simbolik dalam pemaknaan perempuan bekerja menurut manhaj Salafi. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang makna bekerja bagi perempuan salafi yang berkeyakinan bahwa tempat terbaik bagi perempuan adalah di rumahnya, dihubungkan dengan konsep kekerasan simbolik. Untuk itu digunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode wawancara terfokus kepada tujuh informan yang dipilih melalui kriteria tertentu. Hasil penelitiannya adalah adanya praktik kekerasan simbolik benar terjadi di dalam wacana bekerja menurut manhaj Salafi. Kekerasan simbolis tersebut disetujui dan dilanggengkan oleh ketujuh perempuan Salafi melalui bahasa yang disampaikan, cara berpikirnya, dan cara bertindaknya.

Abstract

Leadership is a classic topic of discussion, but it is still very interesting to be researched because it is very decisive for an organization. Leadership is essentially the responsibility. Strong leadership is needed so that the organization can achieve its goals. Leadership is a process of influencing others to do their work according to the expected goals. Abstract

This Paper aims to find out on the response of Singapore as a multi-racial country and religion towards the Muslims and its role in taking care of its racial harmony in Singapore. This mix of methods of qualitative and quantitative through the approach of direct observation has found that the government of Singapore gave a good attention for Islam. This happens in such ways that the law named AMLA and muslims in Singapore take part in keeping the racial harmony in many ways such as involving in IRO organization, choosing An-Nadhah mosques as a racial harmony centre, encouraging the dialogues between religion and the muslims. Most important role in MUIS is as official instituion to have such harmony by having seminars and khutbah as well as application of downloaded information in curriculum development based on racial harmony. As the result, it is hopeful to let this be as a research for other countries that has a different system that is similar to Singapore for the sake of a better harmony.

Abstract

The 12th KTT ASEAN (ASEAN Summit) at Cebu emphasized to create MEA 2015 which makes South East Asia as free flow of goods and services zone, investment and skilled labor, and freer flow of capital. As the impact, Indonesia will face the foreign labor invasion as the result of developed country education like as Singapore. In facing this competition, Indonesia government formulate national education strategy with the purpose that the human resources can compete in the world of global business, at least should refer to determinant factors of nation, such as innovation mastery (45%), network mastery (25%), technology mastery (20%), and natural resource wealth mastery (10%). Islamic Collage Publics have opened international class and they have prepared the lecturers who appropriate with international qualification and standard. Islamic Collage Publics also prepare their students with intellectual ability including English and Arabic language mastery and as the result they can compete with ASEAN Countries.

Abstract

This article discusses the paradigm of child education in the family in the Digital Age in the perspective of Islamic education. Digital technology as the main feature of the digital era has two different sides, one side provides benefits, on the other hand causes damage. The benefits include ease of various aspects of the information needed, the presence of a variety of educational media and other positive content. Whereas the damage includes the strengthening of instant culture, the ease of children to access various inappropriate content, the rise of various criminalization in cyberspace etc. The paradigm of family education built in the digital era should pay attention to the reality of the present condition. This refers to the reality of the current generation that is very close to the digital world. Therefore, the educational approach should also be adapted to the conditions of children in this era. The important efforts that parents can make towards their children's education in the family are: (1) able to understand the potential and development of children; (2) able to understand the educational content that must be transmitted to their children; (3) able to recognize digital media both aspects of benefits and negative impacts; (4) able to use digital media as a means of education.
