Abstract

This article contains the results of the design of learning media development based on Augmented Reality (AR) by bringing up virtual objects that use pointer markers. The purpose of this study is to obtain a design of learning media application on material of Photosynthesis based on Augmented Reality. Test this media using a usability measurement tool to measure success and obtain input from users. The results obtained from the design of learning media applications on photosynthetic material based on Augmented Reality are making it easy for users to use real interactions with the percentage of usability obtained by 91.25% and positive responses in the form of user input to interaction techniques in the Augmented Reality media so that input can used to improve the next  media development.Keywords: Augmented Reality 1, photosynthesis 2, usability 3

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of scientific-based learning strategy (images media and lecture method) and students learning motivation towards the students achievement of learning science. This research applied 2 x 2 factorial design, a type ofquasi-experimental design. Results are as follows: (1) there are differences in the students achievement of learning science between students who are taught using thescientific-basedlearning strategy withimages media and students who are taught usingscientific-basedlearning strategywith lecture method, (2) there are differences in the students achievement of learning science between students who have a strong learning motivation and students who have a weak learning motivation, (3) For students who have a strong learning motivation, whether the students achievement of learning science are higher when taught withscientific-based learning strategywith images media than with the lecture method, (4) For students who have a weak learning motivation, are the results of learning science higher when taught with the scientific-based learning strategy with lecture method compared to thescientific-basedlearning strategy withimages media, (5) there is an interaction between scientific-based learning strategyand students learning motivation towards students achievement of learning science.Keywords: Scientific Based Learning, students learning motivation, students achievement of learning science

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate teaching in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of Universitas Negeri Surabaya during early pandemic of Covid-19. The evaluation was based on three aspects, that were, preparation of teaching, implementation of teaching, and assessment conducted by lectures. The design of the study was evaluation research adapted from Kirkpatrick Evaluation Design and focused on learning processes. The study evaluated 26 lectures through observation in each class. There were findings that 98% of teaching preparations met criteria. Also, implementation of teaching aspect got good score, that was, 97%. On the other hand, the lectures were scored in lower percentage for assessment aspect compared to the other two aspects. The aspect got 87%. The study found that 13% of  lectures was lack of feedback.Keywords: Online teaching, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Pandemic of Covid-19

Abstract

Environmental literacy is defined as knowledge of the mechanism of action of the natural environment, then the role of humans in it to preserve a sustainable environment. Relations between gender and environmental literacy be interesting to study it is interesting to study the framework of the influence of gender differences on environmental literacy education. This aims of research is to describe the profile of environmental literacy based on gender in high school students in Pemalang Regency. The research subject was students of class XI of SMAN throughout Pemalang District with a total sample of 351 students. Data were collected using a test and questionnaire method. From the results of the research, obtained an average value of environmental literacy profiles for male students at 63.54 and for female students at 64.05. Based on the Sig.Levene's Test for Equality of Variances test of 0.897, it means that the data variance for the male and female groups is homogeneous. Furthermore, data analysis is based on Sig (2 tailed) values of 0.559> 0.05, meaning H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Therefore, based on data analysis, there is no significant difference between the environmental literacy profiles of male and female students. Therefore, there is no need for differences in the implementation of assessments in environmental education, both for male and female students.Keywords: enviromental literacy, gender, profile

Abstract

The main objectives of this study is to describe students' scientific attitudes on the solubility and solubility product concept before and after guided inquiry-based learning. The scientific attitude in this study includes four indicators, that is student attitudes towards science, the importance of science in life, student responses to science as a career, and student responses to learning science in school. Scientific attitudes play an important role in student decision making to develop scientific knowledge further, pursue careers in science, and use scientific concepts and methods in their lives. This study used a survey method for 40 students enrolled in the 2017/2018 academic year. Data obtained through questionnaires and observations of scientific attitudes during learning activities. The questionnaire technique consisted of a self-assessment sheet and an assessment sheet between friends, each containing 30 statements (positive and negative). This sheet was given before and after learning activities. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively according to the description. The results of scientific attitudes obtained from the self-assessment sheet and among friends are presented in Table 1. From the results of the study, it was shown that student attitudes towards science were the highest scores for the scientific aspects and there were differences in students' scientific attitudes before and after guided inquiry-based learning on the solubility and solubility product concept.Keywords: Scientific attitude, guided inquiry, solubility and solubility product concept

Abstract

The purpose of this survey is to find out how much the motivation of students in class XI MIA learning chemistry at MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This type of research is a survey with cross sectional design type. The subjects of the study were 32 students of class XI MIA. Research instruments using a questionnaire distributed to students and observations made while learning chemistry took place. Analysis of the results of research data in the form of quantitative data analyzed with descriptive statistics, so that it can present the results of research with distribution tables and piechart diagrams. The results of the questionnaire data with an average score obtained by students by 71 points, and included in the category quite well. Students in class XI MIA MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur get survey results for each category as follows: The learning motivation of class XI MIA students at MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur was obtained by an average of 71 points, which was categorized as fair. The results of the questionnaire data are presented in five categories. Unacceptable category got a percentage of 0%, less category got a percentage of 13%, fair category got a percentage of 62%, good category got a percentage of 25%, and very good category got 0%.Keywords: learning motivation, chemistry, analysis
