Abstract

This study analyzes the differences between the concentration levels of the rote low-impact aerobics dance group and the video low-impact aerobics dance group. The subjects in this study were 36 adolescents aged 18-20 years who voluntarily participated. Subjects were divided ordinal pairing into two groups, namely 18 people in the rote low-impact aerobics dance group and 18 people in the video low-impact aerobics dance group. The duration of the exercise is 30 minutes sessions with an intensity of 50-70% HRmax, and the frequency of exercise is 3 times/week for 6 weeks. Concentration levels were evaluated pretest and posttest the intervention using the Grid Concentration Test. The data analysis used the Independent Sample Test with a significant level (p ≤ 0.05). The results showed that there was an increase in the average concentration between the pretest and posttest in the rote low-impact aerobics dance group (scores 6.89 ± 2.45 and 9.56 ± 2.64, p = 0.000), and the video low-impact aerobics dance group (scores 7.39 ± 2.38 and 9.11 ± 2.45, p = 0.000). Based on the pretest and posttest data it was concluded that there was an increase in the level of concentration in both groups, but there was no difference between the rote low-impact aerobics dance and video low-impact aerobics dance on concentration.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate that supplementation with pollen nutritional ingredients can enhance the rate of decrease in lactic acid levels and heart rate after 1 hour of submaximal exercise loading. The research methodology employed is experimental, utilizing a randomized one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 11 students from the Sports Science Study Program at Surabaya State University. Data analysis was conducted using the T-Test with a significance level of 0.05. The findings revealed a decrease in blood lactic acid levels and pulse rate after 1 hour of submaximal exercise. The percentage decrease in pulse rate was 91.541%, while the percentage decrease in blood lactic acid levels was 85.099%. However, it is important to note that comparing the percentage decrease in pulse rate to the percentage decrease in blood lactic acid levels may not be accurate due to the distinct nature of the two systems. Additionally, the supplement group demonstrated greater improvement compared to the control group, which did not receive supplements. Nonetheless, it should be acknowledged that both research variables had not fully returned to pre-exercise conditions.

Abstract

Soccer is a complex sport that requires excellent physical condition. One of the important physical conditions that soccer players have is endurance or VO2Max. Therefore, a training method is needed to increase the VO2Max of soccer players, to maintain the skills they have. This study aims to compare interval training and continuous running in increasing the VO2Max of soccer players. This study is quasi-experimental with a two-group post-test design. The subjects in this study were 24 people with an average age of 23.46 years. All players are members of one of the amateur clubs in West Sumatra. They are players who only train 3 times a week. The subjects were then grouped into 2 groups through the ordinary matched pairing technique so that the interval training group was 12 people and the continuous running group was 12 people. The player's VO2Max data is obtained by conducting a test using a multi-stage fitness test (bleep test). After all the data is obtained then analyzed using the t-test. The results indicate a significant difference between the two training methods, where interval training is more effective than continuous running, it can be seen that tcount > ttable = 2.17 > 1.796. So, it can be concluded that interval training is better than continuous running in improving the VO2Max of soccer players.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of traditional galah hadang games on concentration, agility and endurance in early athletes aged 8-11 years. This study used an experimental method with a design of one group pre-test post-test. The population in this study was 20 badminton athletes at an early age PB (Badminton Union).PT. One asahan. The sample in this study was 20 badminton athletes PB (Badminton Union).PT. One Asahan with sampling using total sampling. The analytical technique used is quantitative descriptive which is analyzed by the Paired T Test. The results showed a sig value of p= 0.00 (< 0.05) so that it was concluded: There is an influence of the traditional game of galah hadang on increasing the concentration of early age badminton athletes, there is an influence of the traditional game of galah hadang on increasing the agility of early age badminton athletes, andthere is an influence of the traditional game of galah hadang on increasing the endurance of early age badminton athletes. With the results of this study, it is expected that there will be a new study that develops a traditional game training model of galah hadang applied to early age badminton athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of the physical education teacher's nutritional status and its theoretical impact. The research data is qualitative in nature and is generated from filling out open questionnaires to informants. 124 informants voluntarily filled out the questionnaire and came from various regions in Indonesia, for this reason, informant data was protected. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner by collecting data, reducing, presenting, verifying, and concluding. The results showed that 1 person was in the underweight category, 71 people were in the healthy weight (normal) category, 27 people were in the overweight category, and 25 people were in the obese category. The conclusions of this study indicate that only 59% of teachers have a healthy weight nutritional status and the rest are in an unhealthy (not ideal) position which will have an impact on their fitness and health levels, as well as showing the performance of personal and professional competencies that has not been maximized.
