<![CDATA[The background that drives this research is the lack of application of manners in the language of manners that form a polite character. This is due to the use of Indonesian which is more massively used in daily communication than the use of Javanese. This research aims to be able to form a polite character in polite language by optimizing the power of the right brain. This research using a qualitative descriptive method makes the students of grade 2A SDIT Ar-Raihan as the research subjects. The research approach used is qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that optimizing the power of the right brain to learn Javanese manners can create interesting and fun learning. The process of optimizing the right brain in learning manners is through contextual learning, creating creative learning, and using electronic media. These activities are expected to help students learn Javanese manners with fun and easy to remember and can improve students' memory of the vocabulary of various manners.]]>

<![CDATA[This research on teachers' views on the implementation of the curriculum aims to find out the views of teachers regarding the implementation of the 2013 curriculum local content of the Javanese Language in Central Java Province, Indonesia. The teacher's view is important as a basis for implementing the 2013 curriculum. Based on the results of the preliminary study, it is known that in the field implementation, the 2013 curriculum for local content of the Javanese language is still not suitable for both elementary and high school levels. Research data was taken by questionnaires and FGDs conducted by researchers. The results of research activities show that 1) teachers' views on the material in the curriculum. This understanding includes the teacher's understanding of the material and the development of the material in the curriculum as well as students' understanding of the learning material from the teacher's point of view, and 2) the teacher's view of the suitability of the material in the curriculum with students. The Javanese language local content teachers hope that there is an improvement in the 2013 Javanese language local content curriculum based on the results of the curriculum review carried out so that the implementation is better and more optimal.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the improvement of the results of writing stories through the method of imagination suggestion in class IXA students of SMP Negeri 27 Semarang in semester 1 and to increase students' love for writing stories through the method of imagination suggestion in class IXA students of SMP Negeri 27 Semarang. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which consists of pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The average pre-cycle score reached 62.93 so it was categorized as incomplete and students' completeness was only 37%. The average value of my cycle reached 76.40 so it was completed completely and students' completeness was 97%. In the second cycle, the average value of the class was 82.06% with the category of attention and students who achieved 100% completeness. In the pre-cycle students are given the freedom of the theme of the wayang story. In cycle I the story is titled Bedhah Alengka. In cycle II, the story of Anoman Duta is from the famous dhalang Ki Bayu Aji Prasetya. From the results of the non-test, it was found that most of the students were happy and enthusiastic watching the wayang kulit performance as a medium with the method of imagination suggestion. This method can also help students' difficulties in writing wayang stories.]]>

<![CDATA[The low learning outcomes of reading Javanese letters in class VIII H SMP Negeri 1 Kesesi for the even semester 2021/2022 school year requires teachers to find ways to arouse students' feelings of pleasure towards the learning. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the increase in reading skills in Javanese letters and to describe changes in student learning behavior after using the Talking Stick learning model with the Butakali game technique (Word and Sentence Hunt). This research is qualitative research with two cycles using test and non-test data collection techniques. The test technique is used to obtain the value of learning outcomes. The non-test technique was carried out to obtain student data. The process of data analysis is carried out during the implementation of learning on the data that has been collected. The results showed an increase in reading skills in Javanese letters and changes in students' learning behavior. The average score achieved by students in reading Javanese letters in the initial conditions the average achieved was 65.44, increasing to 73.38 in the first cycle, and increased to 81.03 in the second cycle. In terms of changes in learning behavior, it is in the form of an increase in positive behavior and a significant decrease in negative behavior after using the Talking Stick learning model of the Butakali game technique (Word and Sentence Hunt) in learning to read Javanese letters.]]>

This research is an evaluative research with qualitative methods. The data of the research from the process of implementation Student Centered Learning and the data sources from teachers and students. The data collection technique by interview and questionnaires. Analysis techniques using data collection, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results that the implementation of Student Centered Learning Javanesse language learning has used methods, models, media and learning resources in accordance with Student Centered Learning.The supporting factors in the the implementation of Student Centered Learning is Javanese language teacher. The roles played by the teacher include providing motivation and enthusiasm, providing incentives, and classroom conditioning that can increase the learning activity of students.]]>

<![CDATA[The feasibility of the content and language of the Sundanese language textbook must be in accordance with the applicable curriculum, besides the content itself must be related with the core competencies of the learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of content and appropriateness of the language in 2017 revised edition of Sundanese Gapura Basa textbook for SMP class VII. The research method used a qualitative method. The data in the form of words and sentences. The results showed that the appropriateness of the content and language of the Sundanese Gapura Basa textbook for class VII SMP was in accordance with the instruments set by the BSNP which included the suitability of the material and the curriculum and the applicable basic competencies, the accuracy of the material in the book, and supporting material used. The feasibility of the language includes communication, straightforwardness, coherence, conformity with the correct Sundanese language rules and the use of terms, pictures, or symbols according to the development of students. The results of the research also show that the Sundanese language textbook Gapura Basa SMP grade VII revised 2017 edition is feasible to use. by educators in the teaching and learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the importance of inculcating the value of character education to students through Javanese literary works of geguritan. The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education contained in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is the geguritan in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi. The research data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences in geguritan which contain the value of character education. Data collection techniques using document analysis. Test the validity of the data using triangulation theory. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique using the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the study show that the values of character education contained in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi include: religiosity, sociality, gender, justice, democracy, honesty, independence, fighting power, responsibility, and respect for the environment. Through geguritan in the anthology of Lathi's geguritan, the author wants to convey a message or message to the reader to become a complete human being with strong noble character.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract There was no development of Javanese script learning media impacted with the less interesting and ineffective learning process so that students have difficulty in understanding Javanese script material. This study aimed to describe the students and teachers’ needs for Javanese script learning media, describe the prototype of the Javanese script Jenga media, and describe the results of the validation of media and material experts on the Javanese script Jenga media. The method of this study used Research and Development. Then, in collecting data this study used interview and questionnaire techniques. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that students and teachers need an interesting and effective learning media to help them easier in understanding Javanese script material. The prototype of the Javanese Script Jenga media consists of a media box, Javanese Script Jenga wooden block, cards and their boxs, dice, blackboard, markers, students’ guidebook, and teacher's manual handout with practice questions and answer keys. Based on the assessment result, Jenga Aksara Jawa media prototype obtained an assessment percentage of 80% from media experts and 77.6% from material experts. Expert validators also provided suggestions and input that can be received into consideration by researchers to improve the Javanese script Jenga media prototype shortcomings. Therefore, this Javanese script media is proper to be used as a learning media with improvements according to the suggestions.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the relationship between student learning styles and student learning outcomes in learning the Javanese language to write Javanese alphabet at SMP Darussalam Bergas. This research is a qualitative descriptive with 100 students of class VIII as the research subject. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Analysis of the data using the analytical model of Miles and Huberman. The research steps consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the learning styles of class VIII students when learning to write Javanese alphabet were 48% visual, 32% auditory, and 205 kinesthetic. Students who score above the cut score are dominated by auditory learning style, while students who score below the cut score are dominated by visual learning styles. The results of observations of students who have a visual learning style prefer to see the visual appearance of Javanese characters on the blackboard rather than just listening to the teacher's explanation. Students with an auditory learning style cannot concentrate if the class is in a crowded atmosphere. While students with a kinesthetic learning style prefer learning that involves students directly, they also cannot linger just sitting quietly and listening to the teacher's explanation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop a product in the form of Javanese language learning media on the material of the Ramayana wayang story by analyzing the needs of students and teachers. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The source of the data is from class IX junior high school students and teachers of Javanese language subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Ungaran. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study is a qualitative description. Based on a needs questionnaire that was distributed to 69 grade IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Ungaran who were randomly selected, it was found that 75% of students had difficulty understanding the material about the Ramayana wayang story. The availability of inadequate media is evidenced by the results of the student needs questionnaire which shows 69%, meaning that there is a need to develop interesting and varied learning media. It is known that 97% of students agree with the development of flash-based Sinau Crita Wayang Anoman Duta media with a scientific approach. The developed learning media has been validated by 85.29% media experts and 81.25% material experts. It was concluded that the SRIWAD learning media is appropriate for students to use as a complement to learning other than the student handbook.]]>
