This study aims to create a web-based sales system in Pematangsiantar Stars Jersey distribution store. The design and manufacture is intended to facilitate the management of sales and purchase data, as well as facilitate shop employees. So that store employees can easily enter sales and purchase data without having to write it in a notebook or sales book. Makes it easier for shop owners to check sales data quickly and efficiently. PT. Medan Tropical Canning is a company engaged in the production and export of aquaculture materials and marine catches, such as shrimp, fish, and so on. PT. Medan Tropical Canning manually monitors and maintains production machinery such as calculation of maintenance schedules and replacement of spare parts contained in production machinery. Frequent occurrences of errors in the calculation of maintenance scheduling and replacement of spare parts cause disruption of production activities.To deal with the problem, the authors propose a computerized information system using the STRADIS system development methodology. This information system is a program developed using the Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 programming language, database using Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and Business Objects Crystal Report 10 for report design.With the completion of the developed system, the data inputted will be processed with a database management system so that it can help monitor and maintain production machines and make reports faster and more accurate. The results of this computerized preventive maintenance information system are expected to benefit the company.

An expert system for diagnosing the cause of miscarriage in pregnant women is an expert system designed as a tool to diagnose the type of food that causes miscarriage. Computer programs intended as providers of assistive devices in solving problems in certain areas of specialization such as miscarriage problems in pregnant women. This knowledge is obtained from various sources including books and the internet that are related to the causes of miscarriages. Knowledge base arranged in such a way into a database with several tables of food types and effect tables to facilitate system performance in drawing conclusions in this expert system using the Bayes theorem. This expert system will display the choice of symptoms that can be chosen by the user, where each choice of effects will read the user to the next selection of effects until they get the final result. At the end of the expert system will display the choice of user effects, types of food causes of miscarriages, and solutions.

This Research is designed for an information system in the form of expert system applications to present information on Pematangsiantar Directory. The purpose of this system is to help provide information about the city of Pematangsiantar as a whole to the residents of Pematangsiantar city in particular and the local and foreign tourists as well as prospective investors in general. The system presents information in the form of public service to the residents of Pematangsiantar city government and other newcomers as well as products and services are made and offered by the business and government. The analysis was done by determining the first goal, then do the searching to obtain the desired information. The design system uses backward chaining inference method to the implementation of the system using My-SQL database systems and programming languages of PHP and JQuery. The system is based on mobile, so it can be accessed using a mobile device

A decision support system for diagnosing lung disease by inserting sketches of x-ray images that have been copied into the decision support system for lung disease diagnosis and symptoms of the disease to be diagnosed at a later stage so that the type of disease is known. The purpose of this system is to support the decision to diagnose lung disease where there are input symptoms of the disease or scanned images, to determine the level or level of illness suffered by the patient or ordinary person. This program is run by using hardware (hardware) that has minimal specifications are as follows Intel Pentium II 200 Mhz Processor, 64 MB Memory, 10 GB Hard Drive, 1 MB VGA card, Monitor with a resolution of 800 600 pixels, Keyboard and Mouse; Whereas the software used to run this application is the MS-Windows 98 or MS-Windows NT / 2000 / XP operating system environment. Steps for making this system include: identifying problems and needs, collecting and selecting data that will be used as a complement, studying and discussing the material obtained about the decision system for diagnosing lung disease along with forward chaining and production rules, designing interfaces with using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. and designing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, making decision support systems for diagnosing lung disease, and testing and improving the systems made.

Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia adalah sebuah lembaga pendidikan berupa perguruan tinggi dibawah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Bina Usaha Indonesia. Pengelolaan sistem informasi laboratorium komputer pada Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia yang masih belum terkomputerisasi menjadikan sistem kinerja pada Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia mengalami kendala dalam penyampaian informasi dan pengelolaan data. Penerapan sistem laboratorium komputer masih belum dimaksimalkan menggunakan sistem yang terkomputerisasi hanya menggunakan media aplikasi sederhana dan media pencatatan manual. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem yang dapat memenuhi sistem informasi secara efektif dan efisien. Untuk itu penulis mengambil judul “Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Laboratorium Komputer Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia)” yang diharapkan dapat menjadi penerapan pengembangan sistem informasi sebelumnya yang dapat mempermudah kinerja pada bagian Staff Laboratorium Komputer Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan dengan lebih efisien dan akurat. Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mempelajari, menganalisis, merancang dan mengimplementasikan Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Laboratorium Komputer Berbasis Web Pada Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia dengan menggunakan HTML, PHP dan MySql sebagai bahasa pemograman yang digunakan.

SMK Pembangunan an online examination system is analyzed which is one part of the distance education system through internet technology media. Exams conducted by most educational institutions, therefore, researchers will overcome by designing a web-based online exam system design, to facilitate the community and schools, in the world of education in this case the School is still carried out conventionally. The concept of an online exam that is not related to space and time can be a solution to the constraints that exist in conventional examination methods. This system aims to make it easier for teachers to provide exams and the process of providing effective and efficient examination scores because the assessment process is given directly when students complete the exam. The study was conducted by observing the system directly so that the results of the analysis of the system needs were obtained. As a basis and reference for making an online exam system, literature study is then made to design a system database using DFD and ERD. The implementation of this online exam system is made with facilities including admin, teacher, and students which will produce output values

In everyday life sometimes many people leave the lights at home alive even though they are empty. As it is known that lights are lighting devices that are very important for any activity, but often there are difficulties in controlling lights because they are still done manually, so there is often negligence in their use. Current control conditions still use the principle of controlling lights at close range. This of course results in excessive waste of electricity when traveling a considerable distance. By using a mobile home-based light control system and Blynk server, it aims to save electricity usage and make it easier to control lights from a certain distance. This system is created by using wifi technology that receives messages from clients that will be processed with the Blynk application that allows users to control home lights using Android. NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller, and the output is a relay to control the system to be on / off position. By controlling using Blynk, this tool can be operated with an Android smartphone that the majority of its users are supported by equipment that is easily available so that the house looks inhabited even though it is empty. So using the tools we make makes it easier for users to control it without having to be afraid of excessive electricity use.

Dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia, Pemerintah mengatur Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi melalui Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia No.49 Tahun 2014. Dimana dosen merupakan salah satu bagian yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tinggi. Untuk mengetahui kualitas Dosen, maka pihak kampus akan melakukan evaluasi kepada setiap dosen yang mengajar. Pada penelitian ini, penulis mencoba membangun sebuah sistem untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Dosen berdasarkan kriteria: Kesesuaian waktu mengajar, Ketepatan masuk naskah ujian, Ketepatan masuk koreksi nilai, Evaluasi proses belajar mengajar, Penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada Masyrakat. Untuk memperoleh hasil evaluasi kinerja Dosen penulis menggunakan metode Algoritma K-Means. Dari hasil pengolahan data 20 orang dosen sebagai data sampel maka diperoleh hasil kinerja dosen yang dibagi dalam 4 kelompok yaitu: Sangat Baik, Baik, Cukup, Kurang. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan proses pengambilan keputusan sangat optimal dengan menggunakan metode K-Means.

To support quality education with a purpose to educate the generation of the nation, the thing to note is the quality of a teacher where it serves as a channel for delivering education / the teaching. Therefore, to know the quality, it needs to be held a selection of outstanding teachers with the aim of encouraging and motivating teachers for integrity, ready to compete and high quality. Based on these problems then this study aims to design a system decision support for the selection of outstanding teachers at Global Prima National Plus School Medan. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). There are five criteria that the author uses namely Discipline, Achievements, Responsibilities, Initiatives and Presence. The research was conducted with looking for weight values for each criterion, then ranking process which determines the outstanding teacher in the case study.
