Abstract

Corruptions in Indonesia are found in the public service sector. Bandung Education Training Center is a Training Center for the Ministry of Religion in the West Java Province which serves the public in the education and training sector. The purpose of this study was to describe the corruption perceptions by participants in training services at Bandung Education and Training Center. The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative analysis, using survey methods by processing data using the index formula. The research population was all training participants who have participated in training in Bandung Education and Training Center, the research sample was 545 respondents spread across 27 cities in West Java Province. The results of the study were that all training participants received the same education and training services, in all types of training that were followed, education technical training, religious technical training, and administrative technical training. The corruption perceptions of training participants in training services at Bandung Education and Training Center were on the corruption perception index of 4.32, meaning that the training services at Bandung Education and Training Center were in very good qualifications which did not indicate corruption Key Words: Perception; corruption; training services

Abstract

The purpose of compiling this article is to analyze the values of education in a variety of traditional games in the Sumedang community. The method used is descriptive analytical with analytical techniques through the study of meanings on symbols that appear in traditional games. The results of the discussion show that in traditional games are actually loaded with educational values for children as an effort to inherit the noble values that exist in the content of local culture. Thus it can be concluded that the values of education are basically universal despite appearing in the local face. Key Words: Education values, Local Culture, Traditional games.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article  to describe how to process the results of the assessment of the aspects of knowledge made by MTs English teachers, both in assessing the learning process and student learning outcomes. Assessments made by teachers in determining the student's final grade, consisting of the Daily Test Score , the Mid-Term Test Score  and the End-Year Test Score . This assessment is carried out to measure students' abilities in the form of factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge, as well as low to high level thinking skills. The competency measured in this activity is related to the achievement of Basic Competence (KD) on KI-3 conducted by MTs English subject teachers. The assessment technique used is in accordance with the characteristics of each. These include written tests, oral tests, and assignments. The method used in writing this article is descriptive analytic, to describe the ability of English MTs teachers, in making decisions using information obtained through measurement of student learning outcomes. As for the results of this writing, teachers are expected to be able to process the results of the assessment of knowledge used for the benefit of learning. For this reason, teachers must be able to process the results of the assessment of knowledge for various purposes, including to determine the success of learning, to do remedial or for enrichment. Abstract

The problem in this study is to compare the humorous aspects of Si Kabayan's story with Abu Nawas and describe it according to the objectives of the research. The research method is qualitative with Koestler's psychological methods with applications in bisociation. The results of this study show similarities and differences between the characters in Si Kabayan's story with Abu Nawas. The main equation is that the sense of humor is high because of the large gap between the M1 and M2 levels of each story. Similarly, motives and mandates are similar to the ingenuity aspects used to deceive others. At the same time, the difference lies in the fact that Si Kabayan has a socio-cultural origin from the lower classes of Sundanese society. While Abu Nawas has a Middle Eastern culture with a social environment around the palace. Both stories are full of irony and paradox in the real life of each region. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore some of the results of previous studies that show a positive relationship between training and employee competency improvement. The main question of this study is whether attitudes can be built through training? This study was conducted by looking for the meaning and finding important information about the competencies expected from a training activity. By drawing on the existing literature, not only topic under consideration is theorize, but also formulates and discusses the proposition that will help illuminate and discuss some ways for the firms to understand the effect of training on employees performance which include knowledge, skills and attitudes. The results of the study showed that temporary training in relation to improving attitude competencies was not the same with the same concept through an educational process that had a longer duration. So, the KSA conception in relation to training, "A" is not representing attitude, but abilities. Keywords: abilities; attitude; education; knowledge; skills; training

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the Learning Organization in realizing the Child Friendly Madrasah Program at MTs Al-Ihsan. This study uses kualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used observation techniques, interviews and documentation as well as source triangulation. While the data analysis technique uses interactive analysis; data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The findings of this study revealed that it would be very difficult to realize the MRA program without the approach of Learning Organization discipline values developed by Peter Senge greatly helped MTs Al-Ihsan in launching the MRA program. LO disciplines are: 1) Personal Mastery, 2) Mental Models, 3) Share Vision, 4) Team Learning, and 5) System Thinking. MRA is based on the principles: 1). Non-discrimination; 2) The best interests of the child; 3). Life, survival and development; 4). Respect for children's views; and 5). Good management of madrasas. After evaluating for 3 (three) semesters, MTs Al-Ihsan is still in the process of developing further categories 2 of the 5 (five) categories of MRA designation established by KPPAP; 1). There is a policy to form an MRA development team, 2). Educators and trained personnel Child Rights, 3). Child participation, 4). Child-friendly learning process, 5). Complaints mechanism, 6). Have a safe / clean and healthy / caring and cultured / inclusive school program, 7). Parent participation, 8). Infrastructure and 9). Alumni participation. Obstacles to implementing the MRA program, namely; a) difficult to equate perceptions, b) difficulty translating the MRA program, c) limited facilities and infrastructure, d). Lack of support from the Ministry of Religion and e) the absence of the declaration of the KLA Program from the Regional Government. Abstract

This study aims to find out the training participants 'initial knowledge about Googlebased application programs and training participants' learning outcomes after following the learning process in the Substantive Technical Training on Multimedia-based Learning held at the Bekasi City Ministry of Religion. The research method used was descriptive, where the data collection techniques in this study used technical tests, namely by pre and post test to determine aspects of participant knowledge and product assessment sheets in the form of rating scale, to assess how far the training participants' ability to operate and make products based on Google based application. The results of this study indicate that the initial knowledge of training participants is on the criteria of "less", the percentage of 13.48%, after participating in the learning process the learning outcomes in the aspects of knowledge are in the criteria of "good", percentage of 81.67% an average score of 3.07 with the criteria of "good". Abstract

This paper will present the results of experiments in a class by conducting initial and final tests as well as in the control class by conducting mathematics learning in Madrasah Aliyah through contextual approaches, as an effort to improve communication and mathematical connections and student learning interests. Respondents in this study were 72 students from class X Natural Sciences in the city of Bandung. The instruments used include tests of mathematical communication skills, tests of mathematical connection abilities and questionnaires. Interest in learning mathematics. It was found from the researcher that in the mathematics learning class using a contextual approach, communication skills and mathematical connections were better than ordinary classes, even though both of these abilities were classified as low. While interest in learning mathematics in the experimental class is better than in the control class with moderate differences. As for the other things, it turns out that there is no association between communication abilities and mathematical connections Keywords: Mathematic Communication; Mathematic connection; contextual approach

Abstract

The leadership role is very important as a determinant of achieving goals both in state and in organization. To produce quality leaders, a leadership concept is needed that can be applied to all the resources involved, both for leaders and employees, it’s called horizontal leadership, this study aims to find out how horizontal leadership art, aspects that must be possessed in horizontal leadership art and how its application in the organization. The method used is literature review, both books and previous research results. The theory used is the theory of horizontal leadership from Christopher P Neck and leadership 3.0 from Ardhi Ridwansyah. The results of this study are that leadership is not only born, inherited, or based on title and position, but also leadership can we grow from within a person naturally and naturally. With the potential already possessed, a person can move and influence themselves and others voluntarily without coercion, without a position (horizontal leadership). The aspects of horizontal leadership are: (physical aspects), (intellectual aspects), (emotional aspects), (aspects of social ability), (personal aspects), (moral aspects). The results of previous studies show that with the implementation of horizontal leadership, employee motivation and job satisfaction increase. Abstract

The contestation phenomenon between Muslim and Christian groups in the context of social-religious relation. This relation affects the conflict and also cohesion (peace). The tensity between Muslim and Christian groups that happened at the arena of preaching and strengthening the reliogion teaching namely mission of bible in Christian (evangelism) and also dakwah islamiyah (amar ma’ruf, nahi’ munkar). The tensity did not rise the conflict and violence because of local wisdoms, namely the dialogue mechanism or rembug kampung that met both groups to reconsile. The peace between Muslim and Christian groups is established because the cooperation, undertanding and the experiences of cultural values gave the room to the both groups to build the solidarity, communication or dialogue and cooperation. Cultural velues such as tepo seliro (emphaty), unggah-ungguh (polite and impolite ethics), lung tinulung (helping each other), giving food each other, visiting each other, rembug (musyawarah/discussion), slametan (thanks giving) are able to be understood and actualized to internalize inclusive attitudes to water the harmony between religions adherents. Therefore concludes that culture is the dominant factor in building the peace relation among the different religions groups (Islam and Christian). If the religions groups had applied the velues of local wisdoms, then the gate of religion harmonious is opened largely. Key words : contestation, Islam, Christian, Peace, conflict
