Abstract

Abstract Character education is an efforts that is designed and implemented systematically to embedded the values of learner behaviour associated with the God, ourselves, human beings, the environment, and nationality embodied in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, speaking , and actions based on religious norms, laws, manners, culture, and customs. Physical Education and Sport (PENJASOR) is essentially a Education processes that utilizes physical activity (motion) to produced a holistic change in individual quality, like on physical, mental, and emotional. Physical education treated the children as a unified whole, total creature, rather than just think of it as someone who separated physical quality and mental. Through the Penjasor learning process is a medium that is considered very precise and powerful in Established of a system of values and character. That aka materialized when given stimulus as early as possible in accordance with the laws of child development. Keywords: character education, physical education, sports, early children Abstrak Pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya-upaya yang dirancang dan dilaksanakan secara sistematis untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai perilaku peserta didik yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, diri sendiri, sesama manusia, lingkungan, dan kebangsaan yang terwujud dalam pikiran, sikap, perasaan, perkataan, dan perbuatan berdasarkan norma-norma agama, hukum, tata krama, budaya, dan adat istiadat. Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga (PENJASOR) pada hakikatnya adalah proses pendidikan yang memanfaatkan aktivitas fisik (gerak) untuk menghasilkan perubahan holistik dalam kualitas individu, baik dalam hal fisik, mental, serta emosional. Pendidikan jasmani memperlakukan anak sebagai sebuah kesatuan utuh, mahluk total, daripada hanya menganggapnya sebagai seseorang yang terpisah kualitas fisik dan mentalnya. Pembelajaran Penjasor merupakan media yang dipandang sangat tepat dan ampuh dalam pembentukan sistem nilai dan karakter. Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays the process of teaching and learning not must wear conventional style where lecturer explained the matter in front of class, and student listened. By Technology Development learning was introduced many new methods which can optimalized the absorb knowledge inside or outside class, at once interactive and pleasure. Such as Student Centered Learning (SCL). On lecture matter Computer Networks in the Politeknik Telkom, SCL method can be implemented with combination of e-quiz, cloud based sharing files, toke Games, and dividing teaching session in the class become 1hour discussion and One hour consultation with lecturer. This method combinantion make Computer Networks learning more effective, interactive, and pleasure.Keywords: Student Centered Learning, Computer Networks, E-quiz, Cloud, Game ABSTRAK: Saat ini proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran tidak harus bergaya konvensional dimana dosen menerangkan di depan kelas, dan mahasiswa mendengarkan di mejanya masing-masing. Melalui perkembangan teknologi pendidikan diperkenalkan berbagai metode baru yang dapat mengoptimalkan tingkat penyerapan ilmu di kelas maupun di luar kelas, sekaligus interaktif dan menyenangkan. Abstract

Abstract: In order to anticipate the changes that are innovative, reorientation, reorganitation, reformation towards Education debvelopment, all of the changes must towards the creation and the achievement of stakeholders satisfaction. This satisfaction will achieved if the organizers of Education is able to produced graduates who is 27ea rah with National standards even international standards. To achieved that it is necessary to change the educational paradigm with consequences. The consequences of the necessary corrections to the dimensions of the college binding rules, concerning minimum quality standards which need to be formulated together. Balanced Scorecard is a performance measurement system management company comprehensively covering aspects and non ea ea rah rah l l. In the Balanced Scorecard rah l ea measure that shows past performance is equipped with non ea measures rah l which shows the driver (drivers) for the future performance ea ra (Kaplan and Norton, 1996: 8). Balanced Scorecard looked a performances through four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective, and perperspective learning and growth. Through these four perspectives, objectives and Balanced Scorecard measurement derived from the vision and strategy of the organization.Keyword: Balanced approach, scorecard, quality and excellence servicesAbstrak:Dalam rangka mengantisipasi perubahan-perubahan yang bersifat inovasi, reorientasi, reorganisasi, reformasi menuju pengembangan pendidikan, yang kesemua perubahan tersebut harus menuju terciptanya dan tercapainya kepuasan stakeholders. Kepuasan ini tercapai apabila penyelenggara Pendidikan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang 27ea rah dengan standar nasional bahkan internasional. Untuk mencapai itu maka diperlukan perubahan paradigma pendidikan dengan konsekuensinya. Konsekuensi dari pada itu perlu ada koreksi terhadap dimensi aturan yang mengikat perguruan tinggi, menyangkut standar mutu minimal yang perlu dirumuskan secara bersama-sama. Balanced Scorecard merupakan system pengukuran manajemen kinerjaperusahaan secara komprehensif yang meliputi aspek 27ea rah27l dan non 27ea rah27l. Dalam Balanced Scorecard ukuran 27ea rah 27l yang menunjukkan kinerja masa lalu dilengkapi dengan ukuran-ukuran non 27ea rah27l yang menunjukkan penggerak (drivers) bagi kinerja masa yang akan27ea ra (Kaplan dan Norton, 1996:8). Balanced Scorecard memandang kinerja melalui empat perspektif yaitu perspektif keuangan, perspektif pelanggan, perspektif bisnis internal, dan perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Abstract

Abstract: this research aims to know successful achievement program in the international school that includes (1) a contextual component , (2) input component which includes student qualification, the teacher qualification, curriculum implementation and the state of the infrastructure, (3) the components process ari learning process, and (4) the components product that is the competence of graduates. This study used a deskriptif quantitative approach which is also supported by qualitative data. The analysis results concluded that the RSDBI program implementation in Jakarta seen from (1) the contextual component covered, financing with achievement of 73%, management / school management 70% (2), component evaluation include 40% learners (SKL) an evaluation component, 42% teacher component evaluation, the evaluation component of the curriculum 56%, the evaluation component of infrastructure 49%, (3) process evaluation components 49% (learning) and 42% (assessment), and (4) evaluation of component product is at 53% achievementKeywords: RSBI, program evaluation, elementary schoolAbstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketercapaian keberhasilan penyelenggaraan program Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional yang meliputi (1) komponen konteks, (2) komponen input yang meliputi kualifikasi peserta didik, kualifikasi tenaga pendidik, pelaksanaan kurikulum serta keadaan sarana dan prasarana, (3) komponen proses yaitu proses pembelajaran, dan (4) komponen produk yaitu kompetensi lulusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif yang juga didukung oleh data kualitatif. Hasil analisis penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penyelenggaraan Program RSDBI di DKI Jakarta dilihat dari (1) komponen konteks meliputi pembiayaan dengan capaian 73%, pengelolaan/manajemen sekolah 70% (2), evaluasi komponen input meliputi evaluasi komponen peserta didik (SKL) 40%, evaluasi komponen pendidik 42%, evaluasi komponen kurikulum 56%, evaluasi komponen sarana dan prasarana 49%, (3) evaluasi komponen proses 49% (pembelajaran) dan 42% (penilaian), dan (4) evaluasi komponen pro-duk berada pada capaian 53%.Kata kunci: RSBI, Evaluasi Program, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The appropriate teaching/learning materials are needed in improving the students’ skills in writing an essay. This research aims at proving the effect of using the complete teaching/learning materials for writing essays based on the ‘process genre’ approach on the improvement of students’ ability in writing English essays. The design of the research was a pre-post control group experiment. The population of the research was students of English Language Teaching Study Program of State University of Padang and two classes of students were chosen through cluster sampling technique as the sample of research. The result of the research shows that the materials are effective enough in improving students’ skills in writing different types of essays and after several revisions, the final product of the materials consists of student book, student workbook, and teacher’s manual. Thus it can be concluded that this new materials can be well implemented in the teaching and learning essay writing at the English Language Teaching Study Program of State University of Padang.

Abstract

Vocational learning is designed to produce graduation that are ready to enter the workforce requirements. One thing that should be taken into consideration is the curriculum implementation where the class theory covers 40% and industrial practice covers 60 % of the framework remaining. The practical activities from various subjects needs to be integrated to achieve a continuous and meaningful learning result. Integrated learning is a learning methodology where some competencies are integrated and has to be achieved from various subjects approach through one interconnected and continuous assignment. The purpose of this research is to describe the integration process from Writing, Editing and Publishing Marketing in one learning continuum. Methodology used in this research is a case study using the students of “Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif ‘publishing class semester four as the source of data. The result of this research is the complete description of the integrated learning equipped with the syllabus and the lesson plan for Writing, editing and Publishing Marketing subject. The conclusion of this research is integrated learning overcome the overlaps topics and resulted on a holistic, continuous and meaningful learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect model of learning and thinking styles of the student's ability in solving environmental problems. This study uses experimental results showed that: First, the ability of students to solve environmental problems learning with instructional strategies ekperiensial higher than students who use expository. Second, the ability of students to the thinking styles accommodating in solving environmental problems is higher than the students' thinking styles assimilative. Third, the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect the ability of students to solve environmental problems. That is the effect of the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect on the level of students' ability to solve environmental problems. Fourth, the ability of students to solve environmental problems have a learning style accommodating with experiential learning strategy is higher than students who studied with expository learning strategy. Fifth, the student's ability to solve the environmental problems that have assimilative learning styles with learning strategies expository higher than students who study with experiential learning strategies. The conclusion from this study is that students who were learning with experiential learning model has the ability to solve environmental problems is higher compared with that get ekpositori learning.

Abstract

This research shows an learning alternative which is learning based on production with assesment portofolio approach. As qualitative give quality improvement and meaningful learning, especially learning experience which connecting a student with worforce or Works unit convenient with standar and field specification. On the other context result shows from process and learning product, in average get inclination that competences are assessed from performance portofolio which is student owned, and the last product form work unit get in good category. Some factor determinis a successful model application, such as: lecturer competencies, student readiness, tools avaibility and object avaibility suited construct specification and from Financial side.

Abstract

In general, this research aims to develop learning model of learning based on metacognitive strategy PG4R. This Research aims especially to: 1) know about objective condition on learning to read in Junior High School; 2) find learning model of reading based on metacognitive strategy PQ4R which needs Junior High School teacher; 3) find plan and model design in reading learning based on metacognitive strategy PQ4R which decent to used in Junior High School student; 4) know feasible learning model of reading based on metacognitive strategy PQ4R from the experts point of view; and 5) know the effectivity on learning model of reading based on metacognitive strategy PQ4R which is developed. The method uses research and development with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results show that development design on learning model of reading based on metacognitive strategy PQ4R can improve students’ skill to understand reading material from comprehension in literal, inferential, evaluative, and apresuative. Learning achievement is better than reading learning which conducted by teacher without using metacognitive strategy PQ4R. The research shown by calculation results t-test is 5,975. That scores higher than t-tabel is 1,67.
