Abstract

This study aims to find out the use of recycled material media in the learning process in children aged 5-6 years at Pelita Cibeber-Lebak Kindergarten. This research uses qualitative research methods using data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, and conclusions. The results of the study found that teachers at Pelita Cibeber-Lebak Kindergarten, utilized recycled materials around the environment and which are easily obtained in carrying out the learning process while carrying out core activities. Every day the learning media is prepared by teachers during the core activities, there is always the use of recycled material media that children can use. This study concludes that teachers at Pelita Cibeber-Lebak Kindergarten have used recycled media in the learning process in children that are adjusted to the planning program that has been designed. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media bahan daur ulang dalam proses pembelajaran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pelita Cibeber-Lebak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa guru-guru di TK Pelita Cibeber- Lebak, memanfaatkan bahan-bahan daur ulang yang ada di sekitar lingkungan dan yang mudah didapat dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran saat melaksanakan kegiatan inti. Setiap hari media pembelajaran yang disiapkan oleh guru saat kegiatan inti selalu ada penggunaan media bahan daur ulang yang dapat digunakan oleh anak-anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini guru-guru di TK Pelita Cibeber-Lebak telah menggunakan media daur ulang dalam proses pembelajaran pada anak yang disesuaikan dengan program perencanaan yang telah dirancang.

Abstract

This study aims to see how people with disabilities with Cerebral Palsy react to the design of current batik patterns. The research method is descriptive and quantitative. The researcher's data gathering method is the distribution of mixed questionnaires. Three factors, namely selection, organization, and interpretation, are used to assess perception. The study focused on persons with cerebral palsy, including 48 participants aged 12 to 25 in the mild and moderate categories. Perception is established via experiencing, selecting, arranging, and understanding contemporary batik motifs' shape, color, and composition for people with cerebral palsy. Current batik patterns that correspond to the features of Cerebral Palsy include motifs in bright colors and colors with shades of value, with a composition that is not too complete or too huge. There are no unique forms in creating contemporary batik motifs for persons with Cerebral Palsy difficulties, including geometric and non-geometric shapes; instead, the combination of colors and compositions must be addressed to make shapes that do not cause distortion. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi penyandang disabilitas terhadap desain motif batik kontemporer. Penelitian berfokus pada penyandang disabilitas Cerebral Palsy anggota komunitas Rumah Cerebral Palsy dengan responden sebanyak 48 orang penyandang disabilitas Cerebral Palsy kategori ringan dan sedang berusia 12-25 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan peneliti adalah penyebaran angket campuran. Persepsi diukur melalui 3 indikator, yaitu indikator seleksi, organisasi dan interpretasi. Persepsi dibentuk dari proses merasakan, menyeleksi, mengorganisasi dan menginterpretasi desain motif batik kontemporer bagi penyandang disabilitas Cerebral Palsy ditinjau dari bentuk, warna, dan komposisinya. Desain motif batik kontemporer yang sesuai dengan karakteristik Cerebral Palsy adalah motif dengan karakteristik warna yang cerah dan warna-warna dengan value tins, komposisinya motif tidak terlalu penuh atau motif terlalu besar. Tidak ada bentuk khusus baik bentuk geometris maupun non geometris dalam pembuatan desain motif batik kontemporer bagi penyandang disabilitas Cerebral Palsy hanya saja perlu diperhatikan kombinasi warna dan komposisi sehingga bisa menghasilkan bentuk yang tidak menyebabkan distorsi.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia for about a year, and many activities have shifted online. No exception in the field of education. Learning is done online or in distance learning. The existence of distance learning does not rule out the possibility of bringing a change, including student discipline. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the field of elementary school students during distance learning. Descriptive quantitative is used as a method in conducting this research. Respondents in this study were 41 students at the State Elementary School 02 Pagelaran, Pemalang, Central Java. Filling out the questionnaire was used as a way to collect data. The results showed that at the time of distance learning, students' discipline was included in the moderate category with 46%, and the results could not be generalized to all elementary school levels in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the objectives of implementing the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is to show how to master the essential competencies needed in various subjects. At the same time, digital formats must be integrated at every level of education, including the assessment process. Responding to the latest regulations regarding assessment and advances in digital technology requires teachers to have a combination of content and support skills. This study aims to develop an integrated media and environment for in-service teachers to improve their skills in creating AKM tests. The resulting test is designed according to variations in Moodle-based e-learning. This platform was chosen because many schools use Moodle as a Learning Management System (LMS). The study was conducted using the research and development method of the Thiagarajan 4D model, with the steps of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The development results include products, skills improvement, and a portfolio of user implementation results. Abstrak Tujuan diberlakukannya Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) salah satunya adalah untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana penguasaaan kompetensi mendasar yang diperlukan pada berbagai mata pelajaran. Di saat yang bersamaan, format digital sudah harus menjadi hal yang terintegrasi pada setiap level penyelenggaraan pendidikan, termasuk di dalamnya proses asesmen. Menyikapi peraturan terbaru mengenai asesmen dan kemajuan teknologi digital, mengharuskan guru memiliki keterampilan yang merupakan kombinasi antara konten dan pendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media dan lingkungan yang terintegrasi bagi guru aktif agar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pembuatan tes AKM. Tes yang dihasilkan didesain sesuai dengan variasi pada e-learning berbasis Moodle. Platform ini dipilih karena banyak sekolah yang mennggunakan Moodle sebagai Learning Management System (LMS). Studi dilakukan dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model 4D Thiagarajan, dengan langkah-langkah define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil dari pengembangan berupa produk, peningkatan keterampilan, dan portofolio hasil implementasi pengguna.

Abstract

Learning media is a means of influencing a teaching and learning process. In the absence of learning media, it is difficult for KBM to be implemented effectively. Without realizing it, learning media has an important role in addition to teachers and students as the main objects in the learning process. In this case it can be concluded that if the learning media is minimal/less then it will hinder the creation of real educational goals. Besides that, the full contribution of the school is also very much needed in creating competent teachers in order to be able to form a conducive and enjoyable student learning enthusiasm that can get encouragement in increasing student motivation in learning. The effectiveness of the assessment is also necessary in the teaching and learning process, because with the assessment the teacher can determine the abilities of each individual/student. Assessment does not only focus on the learning outcomes that have been obtained, but also on the process of how students learn. Assessment also functions as a relationship that influences each other and there is reciprocity between students and teachers, assessment in education also aims to find out the increase in student learning activities, in order to improve and enhance student learning at school and at home. Problems that often occur related to learning media usually occur in schools located in remote areas, which are far from the reach of the government. It can be exemplified by the lack of supply of textbooks and infrastructure such as projectors, etc. that can support success in learning. In this case students have difficulty finding learning resources, so the teacher must contribute to creating learning media to cover these deficiencies, because the teacher has a very big role in changing student learning. Abstrak Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana berpengaruh pada suatu KBM. Tidak adanya media pembelajaran, KBM sulit untuk terselenggara secara efektif. Tanpa disadari, media pembelajaran memiliki peran penting disamping guru dan siswa sebagai objek utama dalam proses belajar. Dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya jika media pembelajaran minim/kurang maka akan menghambat terciptanya tujuan pendidikan yang sesungguhya. Disamping itu kontribusi penuh pihak sekolah juga sangat dibutuhkan dalam menciptakan guru yang kompeten guna dapat membentuk semangat belajar siswa yang kondusif dan menyenangkan yang dapat memperoleh dorongan dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajarnya. Keefektifan penilaian juga perlu dalam proses KBM, karena dengan adanya penilaian guru dapat mengetahui kemampuan tiap individu/siswa. Penilaian bukan hanya fokus dengan hasil belajar yang telah didapatkan, tetapi juga pada proses cara belajar yang dilakukan siswa. Penilaian juga berfungsi sebagai hubungan yang saling mempengaruhi dan adanya timbal balik antara siswa dengan guru, penilaian dalam pendidikan juga bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan kegiatan belajar siswa, guna memperbaiki dan meningkatan belajar siswa disekolah maupun dirumah. Problematika-problematika yang sering terjadi terkait dalam media pembelajaran biasanya terjadi di sekolah-sekolah yang terletak di pedalaman, yang jauh dari jangkauan pemerintah. Dapat dicontohkan seperti kurangnya pasokan buku paket serta sarana prasarana seperti proyektor dll yang dapat menunjang keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini peserta didik mengalami kesulitan untuk menemukan sumber belajar, sehingga guru harus berkontribusi untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran untuk menutupi kekurangan tersebut, karena guru memiliki peran yang sangat besar untuk perubahan peserta didiknya.

Abstract

Good university governance is expected to increase the public image which leads to promoting credibility and public participation in the role of the university. Some roles expected by society from universities are to give qualified education, develop research, transfer knowledge, culture, and technology and promote the economy within society. Continuous improvement enables universities to always increase their quality to become highly competitive. This study aims to develop strategic models for competitive university governance at the Muhammadiyah Islamic University of East Borneo. The qualitative approach with a Case study type was used in this research. The data were collected through depth-interview, participation observation, and document study. The findings concerning the strategic model of the competitive university governance characteristics were interrelated, as follows: 1). Internal Quality Factors: the Personal Character Building by developing caring spirituality, awareness, and total action in which all came from the conscience (honesty, responsibility, visionary, discipline, cooperation, just and caring. 2) External Quality Factors: the Quality Culture and IT-based organization by developing vision, mission, and organizational character, excellent leadership, stakeholder, Good University Governance management, the national standard university, Quality assurance, and creative innovation. 3) Outcome: Achieving the University Index, achieving the university roles, the graduate's competence, and consumer satisfaction, hence achieving a competitive university.

Abstract

This study uses a modular innovation in the form of a flipbook application to enhance student learning results in informatics learning. Class action research is the research methodology employed. The 35 kids in class VII H at SMP Negeri 1 Karangtanjung served as the study's subjects; there were 15 boys and 20 girls in total. the average value of the first cycle reached 80.57 with a completeness percentage of 68.57%, while the average value of the second cycle reached 81.42 with a completeness percentage 85.71%, the results showed that Class VII H students of SMP Negeri 1 Karangtanjung experienced an increase in learning outcomes. In conclusion, cutting-edge modules using flipbook applications can enhance students' learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran informatika dengan menerapkan inovasi modular berupa aplikasi flipbook. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII H SMP Negeri 1 Karangtanjung yang berjumlah 35 siswa, 15 laki-laki dan 20 perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata siklus I mencapai 80,57 dengan persentase ketuntasan 68,57%, sedangkan nilai rata-rata siklus II mencapai 81,42 dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,71% dapat disimpulkan, hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan modul inovatif dengan aplikasi flipbook.

Abstract

This study aimed to learn about the school literacy movement's (GLS) implementation at SDN Ranon 1 in Pakuniran District. This research was carried out using qualitative research methods using data analysis, namely, data collection, data reduction, and conclusion. The results of this study found that the application of GLS had a positive impact on increasing students' interest in reading where this research was conducted due to the low interest in reading among class IV students. Program planning and program implementation are stages of this research. Every day, the GLS implementation is carried out for 15 minutes before learning begins. Activities can be filled with reading books or other literacy activities. This study concludes that SDN Ranon 1 has implemented GLS in accordance with the planning program that was designed and has had a good impact on students' reading skills. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah (GLS) di SDN Ranon 1 Kecamatan Pakuniran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data yaitu berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan pengaplikasian GLS ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan minat membaca peserta didik dimana penelitian ini dilakukan karena dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat baca pada peserta didik kelas IV. Perencanaan program dan pelaksanaan program merupakan tahapan dari penelitian ini. Setiap hari pelaksanaan GLS dilaksanakan 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, kegiatan bisa diisi dengan membaca buku atau kegiatan literasi lainnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini SDN Ranon 1 telah melaksanakan GLS sesuai dengan program perencanaan yang telah dirancang dan memiliki dampak yang baik bagi kemampuan baca siswa.

Abstract

Honesty behavior must be instilled through civic education learning and can be started from elementary school. This study aims to 1) identify the honest attitude of elementary school students; 2) identify civic education learning in elementary school students; 3) the application of civic education learning in developing the honest attitude of elementary school students. This study used a systematic literature review method in which all articles were processed based on inclusion, exclusion, and quality assessment criteria. It resulted in 14 primary articles analyzed with predetermined research questions. The results of the research in the form of the role of civic education in the development of honest attitudes have been widely studied by leading researchers from 2010 – to 2022. This research has implications for the discovery of subsequent research that can be used as a starting point for the following researchers interested in the theme of research regarding honesty in students.

Abstract

Masyarakat pada umumnya beranggapan bahwa sebuah membaca literasi membaca sudah digantikan oleh tren literasi digital karena masa kini sudah berubah menjadi revolusi industri 4.0. tetapi di negara-negara berkembang sampai negara terbelakang, masalah literasi masih menjadi masalah yang harus diselesaikan untuk memajukan kualitas pendidikan di negara tersebut. Rendahnya literasi baca dan tulis membawa dampak buruk di masyarakat maupun bagi orang yang memiliki tingkat literasi yang rendah.
