Abstract

Sufism-based character formation needs to be appreciated because it contributes significantly to the scientific arena. Character needs to be formed from within, namely by practicing Sufism and being assisted by a murshid teacher. Sufism emphasizes action, actualization and practical rather than merely theoretical. This research uses library research by analyzing data and information such as books and reputable journals. The results of this study are (1) the characters need to be familiarized with the Sufi practices of the sufi order (morals) such as: dhikr, fasting and self-control. (2) the character of students will be formed with the model of teacher exemplary (3) strengthen the personality of the teacher so that students imitate.

Abstract

The importance of educational institutions, especially pesantren, to instill holistic character values including religious, honest, responsibility and inferiority must be appreciated by all groups. Islamic boarding schools always form their students to do good even without a qualified theory. Islamic boarding school always prints a pious and noble person. This research uses library research by gathering information and data in the form of books, journals and other scientific essays. This research results in (1) Islamic boarding school with all its limitations able to form truly intact and honest human beings (2) Islamic boarding school is able to build credible institutions (3) Integration of Islamic education and comprehensive science in Islamic boarding schools (4) Islamic boarding schools implement comprehensively holistic education.

Abstract

Ethics Looking for Knowledge in the Book of Washoyaa Al Abaa 'Lil Abnaa'Being Serious includes Studying earnestly and passionately, Using the best time,in reading and understanding lessons that have been discussed by the teacher or not yet discussed, No doubt- feel free to ask questions and discuss with friends, do not move to other problems, before completing the first problem and can understand it well, obedient and submissive to the teacher, do not fight with friends, do not talk alone with friends, be serious in listening to information from teacher and not empty minded (polite), polite to the teacher, remind each other with friends, Tawadlu (humble) and good morals, away from the nature of takabbur and despicable morals, Looking for the pleasure of teachers and ask for prayer to teachers, Munajat ( dialogue) and tawakal (surrender) to Allah.

Abstract

The method is very important in learning. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bahrul Ulum Together in learning the Koran using a unique method, the power of two, the method begins with the teacher giving questions to be answered independently by all students. Then divide students in heterogeneous pairs. Students are asked to give new answers to the results of discussions with their partners. Then all pairs compare their answers with the answers of other pairs. Finally the teacher concludes the most appropriate answer. This method is applied periodically and in certain materials so that students do not get bored. Student learning outcomes at MTs Bahrul Ulum have improved. The increase occurred in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This is supported by the activeness of students expressing opinions, asking questions, responding, answering questions from other friends and applying it in their daily relationships. Improvements were also seen in the scores of daily tests and midterm scores of students. problems by students are: negative student dependence, lack of learning materials, and limited student memory. The solution to the problem that arises is: the teacher selectively divides couples heterogeneously, the teacher as the controller of the discussion, the addition of extracurricular hours in the religious field, assigns students who are passive to convey the results of discussions with their partners, asks students to look for material from other sources, and puts emphasis on main points of discussion.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are educational activities outside the subject and counseling services to help the development of students according to their needs, potential, talents, and interests. Through extracurricular activities, it is expected to help in the process of moral formation of students, as well as its application in SMP N 1 Diwek and SMPN 2 Jombang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Results of the study: (1) The morality of students in SMP N 1 Diwek and SMP N 2 Jombang, namely spiritual, honest, responsibility, discipline, mutual cooperation, tolerance, self-confidence, and courtesy. (2) The implementation of extracurricular activities in the form of reading the Qur'an, praying in congregation, recitation and sadaqah routinely every day and adjusted to the activity schedule itself with structured; (3) Similarities and differences in extracurricular activities at SMP N 1 Diwek and SMP N 2 Jombang are that each school has a program that is in accordance with the government's stipulation, except for additional programs according to school needs. The difference from the location or environment around each school is in the city center and the community environment.

Abstract

The government has arranged distance education based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (SISDIKNAS), which is meant by distance education is education where students are separated from educators and learning uses various learning resources through technology, common problems in education in Indonesia, which is an inadequate learning system, seen from the learning methods, learning media, and materials that are still not appropriate in their use. This causes the low student learning outcomes, which are influenced by various learning methods that are less precise. This research will be conducted on student achievement in the eyes of Multicultural Education at STITNU AL-Hikmah Mojokerto using edmoodo-based think pair share methods and conventional systems, based on Independent Sample T-Test analysis, obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.879> 0.05, then according to the basis of decision making in the independent Sample T-Test, it can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that there is no difference between the average learning achievement of the experimental group and the control group

Abstract

Pondok pesantren Abdul Hamid Sholeh merupakan salah satu pesantren yang berada di daerah Jombang. Pondok pesantren yang diasuh Moh. Kholili ini, termasuk pondok dengan sistem salaf yang mengajarkan kitab-kitab klasik kepada santrinya. Dalam pembelajaran kitab tersebut, kiai pondok tersebut Metode Yassarna, yaitu sebuah metode mudah dan cepat dengan durasi waktu 24 jam santri mampu membaca kitab kuning. Fokus penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang aplikasi metode yassarnaa pada pembelajaran kitab kuning, problematika pengaplikasian metode yassarnaa, Evaluasi Pengaplikasian Metode Yassarnaa. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field reasearch) dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, dengan rancangan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian, Metode yassarnaa diaplikasikan dengan materi yang dikolaborasikan lagu, yaitu memulai dari materi yang paling mudah, dilakukan dengan berkesinambungan, dan mempraktikkan secara langsung. Keunggulan Metode yassarnaa yaitu efektivitas waktu, penggunaan media sederhana, membaca materi dengan melagukan. Kelemahan: kurangnya waktu dan kurangnya minat santri dalam bernyanyi. Cara evaluasinya: pengetesan dengan membaca kitab taqrib, pemanfaatan waktu, penugasan terhadap santri, serta pemberian kesempatan untuk melatih menthal dan potensi santri. Kesimpulan:1) Pengaplikasian Metode Yassarnaa pada pembelajaran kitab kuning dimulai dari pengenalan materi yang termudah, pengenalan materi tersebut dilagukan bersama, dilakukan dengan berulang-ulang, dan mempraktikkan pada halaman yang tercantum ayat al-Qur’an dan syarah kitab. 2) Keunggulannya, waktu yang sangat singkat, medianya sederhana, menggunakan lagu dan otomatis hafal. Kelemahannya, santri tidak mampu baca Arab, kemampuan yang berbeda, belajar hanya disempatkan dan tidak semua santri suka bernyanyi. 3) Evaluasinya, pengetesan menggunakan kitab fathul qorib, pemanfaatan waktu kosong, pemberian tugas perpasal, dan pengadaan pelatihan di lembaga/yayasan.

Abstract

Educational democracy is a democracy that provides equal educational opportunities to all people, regardless of race (ethnicity), beliefs, color and social status. The principles of democracy can be implemented in the Islamic education system because basically Islam gives freedom to individuals (students) to develop the values of nature that are in themselves in aligning with the times. The democratization of education in Islamic education is reflected in aspects: First: Monotheism: a paradigm of liberation. Second, Shura: a vehicle for openness. Third, Al-Adlu: a classless society. Fourth, Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar: monotheistic, doing good deeds, being cautious and ulul albab. Fifth, Tawassut Principle: principle of moderation. Sixth, the obligations and human rights in the development of science.

Abstract

Improving morals, morals, and human character is obligation for human being, which aimed to achieve their life goals, such as realizing Insan kamil (perfect human). Moral is the main thing for humans, therefore the Prophet told his ummah to improve morals more and more. This study found that: morals means behavior, character, behavior or trait. According to al-Ghazali, moral is a trait that is embedded in the human soul which gives birth to easy human actions without need for thought or consideration. Taysir Al-Khallaq means a book that makes it easy for someone to carry out morals and understand the kinds of morals. So knowing the morals certainty must be implemented abandoned. The results of this study are according to Hafidz Hasan al-Mas'udi in the Taisiirul Khollaq Fi Fi Ilmil Akhlaq giving a concept of how we have the Mahmudah character, and go away from the Madzmumah character, such as hasud, arrogance, revenge, this is a trait that we must stay away from as educators or students. Meanwhile, honesty, humality, tawadhu are trait must be owned. The conclusion is the concept of moral education which is included in attitudes or behaviors are the relationship with Allah, oneself, attitudes and family.

Abstract

The application of Punishment in an institution is helpful in fostering the morals of students, because they will get sanctions that is being punished. This study discussed influence of punishment towards student’s morals of al Urwatul Wutsqo Boarding School of Bulurejo Diwek Jombang. The results stated that the application of punishment was good with 72% of 51 male students, and the morals of students showed a very good category with 69% of 51 male students. There is a strong and significant influence between Punishment and the Morals of students at the al Urwatul Wutsqo Boarding School Bulurejo Diwek Jombang. This is evident from results and obtained that was a high correlation about 0.944.
