Abstract

The company always expects good performance for employees, because employees are the key to success for the company. In order to get qualified employees, it is necessary to pay attention to the procedures for recruitment and selection. The purpose of the study was to find out how much the impact of recruitment and selection on increasing the work productivity of employees of the Settlement Development Unit of West Sumatra Province. The research method used is quantitative research methods. The population in this study were all employees of the Settlement Development Unit of West Sumatra Province totaling 48 employees. The sampling technique is the total sampling method that is using the entire population as the study sample. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research obtained explain that recruitment and selection have a significant impact on the productivity of employees of the Settlement Development Unit of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Quantitative research design was used to analyze the effect between variables of the study. Fucos research is to identify and analyse the role of perceived educational support, perceived family support against entrepreneur intention on Faculty of Economics University of Bung Hatta fields (160 respondents with the method purposive sampling) data analysis using the method of linier regression analysis to test hypotesis. The results showed that the perceived family support and self-confidence is positive and significant effect against the entrepreneur intention, whereas the perceived educational support is not supported. The discussion and research that will come under discussion on this research.

Abstract

Plastic products contain ingredients that can harm human health, but these products are often used as food packaging. This article discusses the issue of consumer protection against the activities of businesses that use plastic products as food packaging and the government's role in supervising the use of plastic products for this purpose. This article is compiled based on juridical-normative literature studies, meaning that data is sourced from literature (secondary data) relating to consumer protection, both from the results of previous studies that are associated with statutory provisions. From the data analysis it can be concluded that businesses have violated the legal provisions of consumer protection because they use dangerous plastic products as food packaging. To minimize this adverse behavior, the government must provide information to consumers and businessman about the use of plastic packaging and supervise the use of plastic products by businessman. In addition, the government needs to require businesses to include symbols, triangle codes, and information on types of plastic used in places that are easily seen and read by consumers. Thus, consumers know clearly whether the plastic used is dangerous or harmless to package food products so that they make a decision to buy or not buy the intended product.

Abstract

This study aims to find out empirically the effect of operational standard procedures and company facilities on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative research methods. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique with the number of samples used as many as 136 respondents.The data collection method used is the survey method using a questionnaire which is then processed statistically using the SPSS version 20. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially the standard operating procedures had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and company facilities had a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, it can be known simultaneously that the operational standards of procedures and company facilities have a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the influence of expense ratio, fund size,risk level and portofolio turnover on the mutual stock funds registered in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period2014 – 2017. The sampling technique of this research is the full sampling where all population becomes samples, which include 16 companies. The method analysis used to see factors influencing the mutual stock funds is multiple regretion linear with a test T to test the hypothesis. This research finds out that the risk level does influence the mutual stock fund, while expense ratio, fund size and portofolio turnover don’t.

Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of workload, work stress and perceived fairness on burnout on BKPSDM employees in Padang Pariaman Regency. The sample size used is 50 employees and is a total of all employees of the BKPSDM Office in Padang Pariaman Regency. The analytical method used to prove the hypothesis is using multiple regression and t-statistical testing. Based on the results of hypothesis testing that has been done it was found that workload has a positive effect on burnout perceived by employees of the BKPSDM Office in Padang Pariaman Regency, while work stress and perceived fairness do not significantly influence the burnout felt by employees of the BKPSDM Office in Padang Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT WB with the aim of analyzing the effect of competence and employee performance on career development in a company engaged in the construction industry. This study uses descriptive quantitative research with a sample of 100 respondents as samples as well as populations or called saturated samples. Data analysis using multiple linear regression methods to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study concluded that employee competence has a positive and significant influence on employee career development and employee performance also has a positive and significant influence on employee career development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic Attributes, Destination Attributes and Quality of  Service on Islamic Tourism Satisfaction Tiram Beach in Pariaman. This is phenomenon of seasonal tourist visits to the tourist area Tiram Beach. The sample in this study was tourists who traveled in the tourist area of Tiram Beach in Pariaman totaling eighty respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The type of data in this study are primary data from questionnaires. The data analysis method in this study was Smart PLS analysis. Hypothesis testing using the R-Square test to see the results of the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study found that the Islamic Attitude and Destination Attributes had a significant effect and Quality of Service did not significantly influence tourist satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of firm size, sales growth and asset structure on capital structure. In this study, 10 companies in the textile and garment sub-sector are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) and ICMD (Indonesian Capital Market of Directory) from 2012 to 2016. In this study two categories of variables were used, the first dependent variable was the capital structure. Both independent variables consist of company size, sales growth and asset structure, the process of testing hypotheses is done using panel regression analysis and t-statistical testing. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis it was found that the size of the company and the structure of the assets had no effect on the capital structure of the textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while sales growth had a positive effect on the capital structure of textile and garment sub-sectors in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of managerial ownership, institutional ownership and debt policy on the company in Sub Sector Hotel, Restaurant, and Pariwisata listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange Period 2014-2017. The hypothesis testing was conducted using Multiple Linear Regressian. The study found that there is negative and significant relationship between managerial ownership, institutional ownership and debt policy.
