Abstract

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN REALIZING HEALTHY SCHOOLS IN SMP ISLAM CENDEKIA CIANJUR (SICC) BOARDING SCHOOLThis researched aimed to have comprehensive findings based on factual datas and information about school management at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (SICC) Boarding School interms in actualizing healthy school. The qualitative method was used in order to have a comprehensive description as an output about all managerial steps; planning, organizing, actuating, and evaluating the school management at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (SICC) Boarding School. All data was collected by indept interview, observation and documentation, showed that: 1) Planning for healthy school at the SICC Boarding School was issued at the beginning of its establishment with the initial stage, focusing more on procurement and completeness of school medical room (UKS), 2) Organizing health schools is the authority of the principal where the implementation of this healthy school program is assisted by several personnel, the coordinator of  healthy school , UKS builder, financial staff and the members, 3) Implementing of healthy school management is carried out by healthy school coordinators and other teams in the organizational list. The concept of  healthy school at the SICC Boarding School is to develop superior programs from UKS, it is called UKS TRIAS, PHBS habituation, and the procurement of facilities and infrastructure for UKS, 4) Controlling is carried out by monitoring and evaluating directly by school principal as the chairman of the UKS organizational list. The Controlling is focused on three aspects; human resources focused on healthy school teams, the  healthy school programme, and the procurement tools of UKS. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that school management runs well with referring to the conditions and needs of school andcan be used as a reference model for other boarding school as well.

Abstract

IMPROVING THE TEACHER CREATIVITY BY IMPROVING THE ORGANIZATION AND SELF-EFICATION CULTUREThe purpose of this reseach is to determine the correlation between organization culture and self efficacy toward teacher’s creativity. This study is conducted in Vocational High School at Region of Cibinong. The study population is 283 teachers and the number of sample is 166 teachers decided by proportional random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire. The data analysis technique used correlation regression partial and multiple. The result shows that there is positive correlation between organization culture and teacher’s creativity (the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,661 and the detemination coefficient r2y1=0,437), there is positive correlation between self efficacy and teacher’s creativity (the correlation coefficient ry2 =0,609 and the determination coefficient r2y2=0,370), and there is positive correlation  of organization culture and self efficacy to teacher’s creativity (the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,716 and the determination coefficient r2y12= 0,513). Based on the result, it can be concluded that the teacher’s creativity could be enhanced through organization culture and self-efficacy either partially or concurrently

Abstract

ORGANIZATION CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR TEACHERS CAN BE ENHANCED WITH SPIRITUAL ORGANIZATION AND INTELLIGENCE COMMITMENTSThe research aimed to find the relationship between organizational commitment and spiritual intelligence with Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB). The method used in this research was a correlational descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The population in this research took 136 the non-permanent teachers who work seperatelly at 14 private junior high schools located in the district of Jonggol Bogor Regency. The sampling technique was using proportional random sampling in Slovin formula with 5% margin error with a sample amount of 102 teachers. This study resulted in a conclusion; 1) there was a positive relationship between the organizational commitment with OCB. The strength of the relationship between organizational commitment (X1) and OCB (Y) was demonstrated by the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0848 and the organizational commitment contributed 71.9% to the OCB, 2) There was a positive relationship between spiritual intelligence with OCB. The strength of the relationship between Spiritual Intelligence (X2) and OCB (Y) was demonstrated by the correlation coefficient ry2 = 0,786 and Spiritual Intelligence contributed 61.8% to the OCB, 3) There was a positive relationship between the organizational commitment (X1) and spiritual intelligence (X2) jointly with the OCB (Y) shown with the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0.848 and the organizational and intelligence commitments Spiritual collectively contributed 71.9% to the OCB. Based on the findings, the OCB of teachers can be improved through organizational commitment and spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

SCHOOL COMPETITIVENESS SWOT ANALYSIS: A CASE STUDY IN SMKN 1 PASIR PENYU INDRAGIRI HULU,  RIAUOne of the characteristics to see the competitiveness of a school is its accreditation ranking. Schools that have been accredited A can be said to have a great opportunity in developing effective strategies to improve competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategic position of SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). All data were found by researchers through interviews, literature studies, observations, and documents, and questionnaires. Analysis of the data the researcher did was IFAS and EFAS, then SWOT analysis to find out some internal and external factors and to identify a strategic position of SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu. The results of this study indicate that SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is located in quadrant I position (Aggressive), which means that SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is in the survival stage. Researcher's suggestion for SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is to be able to fix several internal weaknesses. To be able to avoid and reduce the threat of competition between schools, SMK 1 Pasir Penyu can create a unique competition as a differentiator between similar schools.

Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CLASSROOM CLIMATE AND LEARNING MOTIVATION WITH STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMESThis study aims to look at the relationship between classroom climate and learning motivation with student learning outcomes in Class XI Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. This study uses quantitative methods with ex post facto design. The population used in this study were students of Class XI Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. The study population was 122 students and the sample chosen was 67 students based on intrapolation calculations and then the distribution of samples using Simple Random Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used primary data in the form of a questionnaire and secondary data in the form of data on the average value of student tests. Data analysis techniques used in this study are simple correlation analysis and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that: (1) There was a relationship between classroom climate and student learning outcomes of 0.595 with a percentage of 59.5% and a significance value of 0.000 so that rcount rtable or 0.595 0.201 could be said to be significant. Because r count r table then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. (2) There is a relationship of learning motivation with student learning outcomes of 0.744 with a percentage of 74.4% and a significance value of 0.000 so that rcount rtable or 0.744 0.201 can be said to be significant. Because r count r table then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; and (3) There is a relationship between classroom climate and learning motivation with student learning outcomes of 0.783 with a percentage of 78.3%. It can be concluded that classroom climate and learning motivation together have a correlation with student learning outcomes. This conclusion suggests that educators can optimize classrooms and provide awareness of the importance of learning and motivate students during the learning process, by creating a conducive classroom atmosphere and providing interesting learning methods so that students do not feel bored and bored, and feel safe and comfortable and excited in learning in class so that it will have implications for maximum learning outcomes.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL HEAD AND WORK CULTURE ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF BASIC SCHOOL TEACHERS MOTIVATION IN SEMARANG DISTRICTThis study to determine (1) the effect of the principal's role on teacher achievement motivation. (2) the influence of work culture on teacher achievement motivation (3) the effect of the principal's role and work culture together on teacher achievement motivation. The population in this study was 269 elementary school teachers in Susukan subdistrict, Semarang regency, a sample of 161 teachers using proportional sampling sampling. The collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing consisting of simple and multiple regression using the SPSS for Window Release 21 program The research findings show that the role of the principal has a significant effect on teacher achievement motivation by 34.8%. Work culture has a significant effect on teacher achievement motivation by 34.1%, the role of school principals and work culture has a significant effect on teacher achievement motivation in SDN Susukan Semarang regency by 44.8%, with a regression equation Ŷ = 12.075 + 0.399X1 + 0.484X2. so the better the role of the principal and work culture, the teacher achievement motivation will also increase

Abstract

PRAGMATIC STYLE OF TEACHER SPEECH IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (SMPN 3 Kota Bogor)The aims of this  research are to describe: (1) the types of speech acts are used by teachers in classroom learning Indonesian VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bogor,  (2)  Pragmatic  power  contained in the  speech  act  Indonesian teacher  class VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bogor.  This  research  method  is  descriptive kualititatif.    Data  sources  used  are  documen,  events,  and  informants.  This  study  use  is triangulation of data and methods. This study uses a model that consists of an interactive analysis  of  data  reduction,  data  display,  and  conclusion.  The  results  of  this  research  is: (1)  the  typeof  speech  act  learning  Indonesian  teachers  in  class  VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bogor,  ie  speech  acts  locutions,  ilokusi  speech  acts,  speech  acts perlokusi. Ilokusi speech act consists of (a) representative speech act consisting of states, and  the  mentioning;  (b)  directive  which  consists  of  speech  acts  ordered;  (c)  commissive consisting  of  speech  acts  promised;  (d)  consists  of  expressive  speech  acts  criticized  and praise;  (e)  a  declaration  that  consists  of  speech  acts  prohibited  and  decide.  (2)Power pragmatic speech actis realized through a directive, contained in the speech act Indonesian  teacher  in  class  VIII F SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bogor very  strong against the students, namely: (a) provide information, (b) affect (c) ordering, (d) reprimand, (e) criticize, (f) suggests, (g) praise. (h) determine, (i) quip, (j) scolded.

Abstract

IMPROVING ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) THROUGH STRENGTHENING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND TEACHER JOB SATISFACTIONService quality is a management resource that is very important to be considered in order to achieve the goals of national education. However, the preliminary survey results indicated that the quality of teacher services were still needed to be improved. The aim of this study was to find efforts to improve teacher service quality (Y) just like the  research theme which was through a study of the influencing power between the independent variables of Job Satisfaction (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) and Proffessional Commitment (X3) as an intermediary variable (intervening). . This research was conducted at 12 private senior high schools in Cibadak commissariat, Sukabumi regency, where the total research object was 109 permanent teachers. The implemented research approach was the POP-SDM approaching that was modeling and optimization of management resources strengthening. POP-SDM was to combine the qualitative researches inorder to find out the constellation of influencies among the variables, the statistical mathematical models to improve the quality of teacher services and the determination of research hypotheses and quantitative research to prove the research hypothesis generated in the qualitative research. The research method used was a path analysis to determine the influence among the variables studied and Sitorem analysis for indicator analysis. The results of the study resulted in a service quality improvement model where the mathematical model was Ŷ = 0.217X1 + 0.451X2 + 0.40X3 + 0.647 wheather X1   was the teacher job satisfaction, X2 was the teacher work motivation  and X3 was professional commitment. While the optimal solution found out that there were 3 indicators which already satisfied so that they were only needed to be maintained or developed. They were consists of achievement, seriousness in carrying out their duties, and emotional bonding to the profession. Beside that, there were 22 indicators that were still weak so that they were needed to be improved where the improvement order of priority were as follows: responsibility, progression, organizational procedures, working conditions, recognition, status, rewards, benefits, loyalty, opportunities, dedication, working atmosphere, type of work, supervision, coworker support, salary, promotion opportunities, responsiveness, assurance, reliability, empathy and direct evidence.

Abstract

IMPROVING TEACHERS' ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) BY STRENGTHENING TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND SELF-EFFICIENCYThe success and sustainability of an organization is largely determined by the willingness of employees to behave well, not only when doing their main tasks, but also the extra behavior of wanting to be good employees. However, it is indicated that the teachers at MTs Negeri Jakarta Timur only carry out basic tasks and do not show behaviors that support organizational effectiveness beyond that. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Transformational Leadership and Self-Efficacy on Organizational Citizenship Behavior either partially or jointly. The population in this study were MTSn teachers in the East Jakarta area with a sample of 243 respondents consisting of 18 MTSn in East Jakarta. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and data processing was done by simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant relationship with the teacher's Organizational Citizenship Behavior. (2) Self-efficacy has a positive relationship with the teacher's Organizational Citizenship Behavior. (3) Transformational Leadership and Self-Efficacy together have a positive and significant relationship with the teacher's Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

Educational Assessment Standards ar ethe criteria regarding mechanisms, the procedures and instruments for assessing student learning outcomes. According to BSNP, the standardized assessment conducted by educators are to include general standards, planning standards, implementation standards, processing and reporting standards for assessment results as well as standards for the use of the assessment results. Each of these standards contained the principles and criteria established by the BSNP. Meanwhile, the assessment of learning outcomes carried out by educational units contains two main standards that must be considered, namely: the standard for determining class promotion and the standard for terminating graduation
