Abstract

This article discusses how the learning of Islamic Religious Education for mentally retarded children in Extraordinary Schools (SLB). Extraordinary Schools (SLB) are special schools for school-age children who have "special needs". Children with intellectual disabilities have IQs below the average normal child in general, thus causing their intellectual and intellectual functions disrupted which causes other problems that arise during their development. Islamic education is not only given to normal children, but also to children who have disabilities or mental disorders. This study uses qualitative research and uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study state that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning for mentally retarded children in SLB Bhakti Pemuda City of Kediri emphasizes memorization and practice directly with concrete or tangible objects, and is evaluated in three domains, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. However, the evaluation of learning in SLB Bhakti Pemuda Kota Kediri is more measured from the realm of affective (attitude and values) and psychomotor (skills or skills).

Abstract

The National Literacy Movement (GLN) programmed since 2016 has experienced developments with the emergence of many studies on literacy and literacy programs in schools. Literacy programs are not limited to literacy but also lead to religious literacy. This study seeks to raise the religious literacy program at SMA Negeri 2 Kediri. Based on field research carried out under the light of the Prothero religious literacy concept which was later developed by Gallagher, the study finds that the practice of religious literacy in SMA Negeri 2 Kediri has being carried out through a program of reading the scriptures according to their respective religions guided by the religious literacy reading team. The implementation process takes place through three stages. First, the school principal forms a religious literacy team. Second, the implementation phase which includes the stages of habituation, development, and learning. Third, the assessment stage. The three implementation processes are intended so that the religious literacy program not only leads to the accumulation of knowledge, but slowly increases to the level of daily practice.

Abstract

Social pressure and great desire to take education at level of the State Islamic University (PTAIN) has given rise to several challenges. This paper elaborates some problems experienced by students of PTAIN. This paper approach is field research with literature data (library research) as support material. The paper concludes college has unique characteristics, self-reliance and mental-spiritual balance. In progress, there are two problems faced by students of PTAIN: personal and social issues (non-academic). Both come down to mindset and mental conditions. They give depth impact on life management, adjustments to academic world, environment and society. Not a few students experience introvert attitude and new environment makes them uncomfortable, eventually lead to saturation.

Abstract

Reconstruction of ‘Kitab Kuning learning conducted Lembaga Batsu Masa’il (LBM) Al Mahrusiyah already implemented 2018-2019 school year. Even though it's only been a year, this strategy shows that it can improve the ability of female students to understand the Kitab Kuning. This is proven by the ability of female students who attend LBM to be able to translate and explain the intent contained in the Kitab Kuning. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The use of research methods is very relevant to the object being studied because researchers become key instruments. The results of this study will describe in full the situation and process of implementing activities in LBM Al Mahrusiyah. Key informants in this study are all stakeholders who are managers, coaches, executors and participants of these activities. The method used is in-depth interviews to find saturated data. An illustration of the results of this study found the application of LBM Al Mahrusiyah held a sifir class, “tahasus, ula, wustho, dan ulya.” Sorogan class in the realm of reading, “memurodi” (translating) and understanding the Kitab Kuning. In the class of sifir and tahasus the introduction of the kitab kuning and nahwu sharaf science. The book studied varies according to the level of study at each stage of the class.

Abstract

As a motivator, headmasters should have a good strategy to motivate teachers in carrying out various tasks and functions. They have to have views and attitudes toward their employers. The headmaster of SMAN Bareng is one of the principals who always motivates his teacher. For examples, giving prizes in the form of awards and cash to outstanding teachers. This study is qualitative, data is collected through observation, documentation and interviews, and to analyze the researchers' data using triangulation of sources. The results of the research are: the teacher of SMAN Bareng have a very good motivation, in terms of self-esteem needs which include the need for achievement and the need for status, such as several teachers are taking master's programs. The work ethic possessed by SMAN Bareng teacher is very good, as that is they have the discipline of time and responsibility in carrying out the tasks given by the principal. The principal's strategy in increasing teacher motivation and work ethic is making a good plan and giving models to them.

Abstract

Spreading hoax is increasingly difficult to dammed. This phenomenon not only found in people with a low literacy level but also in intellectual circles whose literacy levels are considered high, such as lecturers. Then, become urgent to immediately formulate an effective effort to minimize the increasingly widespread of hoax. One effort that has been taken by an Islamic Institution in Cirebon is by study and practice the implied message of the principles of the validity of the hadith trough the Hadith Study Course. This study aimed to identify the factors that caused the lecturers to ignore isnad and to find out the impact of contextual learning on the rules of hadith in terms of understanding and application. This is qualitative research. The main sources of data are interviews with lecturers, indirect observations, questionnaires, and FGD with students. The supporting sources include books, articles, and news related. The results of this study are: 1) the factors that caused lecturers to leave isnad is due to the lack of inspiration and practice of the norms, 2) the application learning hadits with the contextual approach is more effective in helping students understanding and practice the rules of isnad and matan in their daily activity

Abstract

Besides being able to provide knowledge, culture, arts, skills and be able to think creatively, Islamic boarding school education can also form human beings who have noble character, have faith, have personality, have morality, and are devoted to God Almighty. However, some pesantren have not been able to bring the surrounding community as well as bringing the students into a deep understanding of religion. To deal with the above problems, it is very necessary to do research using qualitative research methods through a descriptive approach about the transinternalisation of Islamic religious education values ​​to the surrounding community. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that: For the process of Transinternalisation of education to the community three stages namely: a. Adabtasi students and Islamic boarding schools to the surrounding community. b. Creating (Goal) educational goals to be able to contribute more change to the surrounding community. c. Integration, a pesantren system and policy must regulate the relationship between students and the community. d. Pattern maintenance (latency). Pesantren must complete, maintain, and renew individual motivation and cultural patterns that create and maintain that motivation. Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren selain dapat memberikan ilmu pengetahuan, kebudayaan, kesenian, skill serta keterampilan berfikir kreatif, juga dapat membentuk manusia yang mempunyai akhlak yang mulia, beriman, berkepribadian, bermoral, dan bertakwa terhadap Tuhan yang Maha Esa. Akan tetapi sebagian pesantren belum bisa membawa masyarakat sekitar seperti halnya membawa para santri ke dalam pemahaman agama yang mendalam. Untuk menghadapi permasalahan diatas sangat perlu dilakukannya penelitian dengan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan diskriptif tentang transinternalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa : Untuk proses Transinternalisasi pendidikan terhadap masyarakat tiga tahapan yakni: a. Adabtasi santri-santri dan pondok pesantren terhadap masyarakat sekitarnya. b. Menciptakan (Goal) tujuan pendidikan untuk dapat memberikan kontribusi perubahan yang lebih terhadap masyarakat sekitar. c. Integrasi, suatu sistem dan kebijakan pesantren harus mengatur antar hubungan antara santri dan masyarakat. d. Pemeliharaan pola (latensi). Pesantren harus melengkapi, memelihara, dan memperbarui motivasi individu dan pola-pola budaya yang menciptakan dan mempertahankan motivasi tersebut.

Abstract

This article examines social media in learning process at SMPN 1 Mojo Kediri. This study found that the use of social media in the learning process was under the supervision and direction of the teacher. If it is outside school hours, students experience difficulties or students encounter difficulties so they can directly communicate through social media to ask questions or discuss with friends or with their teacher. The use of social media also gives a positive influence on student learning achievement. The indication is seen from the condition of students who become more enthusiastic in learning. In this way, the teacher is educating students to use social media wisely. This is one form of social media literacy socialization conducted by teachers for students Artikel ini mengkaji media sosial dalam proses pembelajaran di SMPN 1 Mojo Kediri. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial pada proses pembelajaran berada dalam pengawasan dan pengarahan dari guru. Apabila sudah di luar jam sekolah, siswa mengalami kesusahan atau siswa menemui kesulitan maka mereka bisa dengan langsung melakukan komunikasi melalui media sosial untuk bertanya atau berdiskusi dengan teman atau dengan gurunya. Pemanfaatan media sosial juga memberikan pengaruh positif pada prestasi belajar siswa. Indikasinya tampak dari kondisi siswa yang menjadi lebih bersemangat dalam belajar. Dengan cara itu, guru tengah melakukan edukasi kepada siswa untuk menggunakan sosial media secara bijak. Inilah salah satu bentuk sosialisasi literasi media sosial yang dilakukan guru untuk siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of lecturers in minimizing plagiarism behavior of students. This study uses a qualitative method with interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the study found that : (1) socialization to students related to plagiarism, providing understanding of writing scientific papers and understanding of plagiarism, (2) students are required to revise their writing indicated plagiarism, (3) students who do plagiarism do not get assignments, (4) improve students reading culture; (5) teaches students about sentences paraphrasing, encourages indirect qoutations, provides journal references for students; (6) requires students to actively participate in discussion forums; (7) calls for retention from print books; (8) requires students to take online classes; (9) check plagiarism online; (10) giving assignments by hand; (11) determine the limit of plagiarism tolerance in accordance with the guidelines for writing scientific papers.

Abstract

The results of this research showed that the community's views on kiai's leadership turned out to provide positive responses and meanings. This is certainly influenced by the skills of the kiai in managing Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittihad, caring about the interests of the community, and their participation in social society. The kiai’s leadership practice appear in the clear and structured division of tasks, tolerance and full trust. So that boarding school (pesantren) officials like the leadership style of kiai because kiai are also very skilled in applying different leadership models according to situations and conditions.
