Abstract

This study aims to improve students' career planning  class X at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Plus An Nahl Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota through the Career Guidance Service. Based on the results of observations made by researchers before providing services in these classes there are still many students who do not have career plans. Based on the data obtained, the researcher conducted an action research that refers to career guidance service activities. The reason the researcher will provide career guidance service action is because the counseling teacher does not carry out the service and considers this service necessary to be provided to service participants. This activity is monitored using a checklist. From the results of the research carried out, there were several indicators that experienced an increase in the "very good" category, namely the indicator of introduction to the world of work with descriptors seeking information, the total percentage of 100% of 14 students, then Knowing how to choose a study program with a percentage of 93% of 13 students . And the indicator of knowing various types of secondary schools that can support careers has increased with a percentage of 93% of 13 students, and making decisions with a percentage of 93% of 13 students. Abstract

Today’s young generation is not fully able to fulfil the aspects of the ideal character needed to sustain the progress and success of a nation in the future. Strawberry Generation represents strawberries that are beautiful but easily brittle and crumble when stepped on. The emergence of Strawberry Generation is influenced by several factors, one of which is parenting in educating and raising their children. Researchers are interested in studying more about the skills of parents in educating children today. The use of phenomenological methods as an effort to describe and reveal how the skills of parents in educating children today and how behavioural changes that occur as a result of parenting to the parable of the term often referred to as generation Z, namely strawberry generation. The results of this study found that the skills of parents in educating children who have the potential to grow them to be part of the strawberry generation, including overprotective parenting, authoritarian parenting, lack of appreciation and communication. Solutions to minimize children becoming Strawberry Generation include: 1) mental build; 2) give confidence to children to carry out responsibilities that can make them learn and upgrade themselves, so that children feel they contribute and feel valuable; 3) attachment between parents and children; 4) train children to make decisions; 5) always understand the the child’s condition; 6) instilling a growth mindset. Abstract

Abstract

Group group services are the provision of assistance to individuals through group activities (Group Dynamics) which can enable each member to take an active role as well as various experiences and efforts to develop the insights, attitudes and skills needed in an effort to prevent problems from arising or in personal development efforts. The aim of the study was to find out the application of group counseling services in improving the emotional control of class XI students at SMA Pakusari Jember. The objects of this study were students of class XI with a total of 6 students who were taken through a purposive sampling technique. The instruments that the researchers used in this study were observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that group counseling services can improve the emotional control of class XI students at Pakusari State Senior High School in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Interviews and observations that researchers conducted with students showed an increase in students' emotional control before being given counseling guidance services, namely group guidance services. Abstract

The phenomenon of deviations from Pancasila values ​​still frequently occurs in social life, and of course does not reflect an attitude that is in appropriate with values ​​be contained in Pancasila. Among the causes is the lack of awareness of the implementation of Pancasila values ​​which has resulted in the exclusion of the Pancasila ideology. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of education in building the nation's character in the era of generation z, as well as the implementation of Pancasila values ​​through the perspective of guidance and counseling. The method used in this paper is a literature review study whose writing results focus on the topic or related writing variables. Abstract

This article examines the parenting styles of parents who have the external task of fostering, leading and managing the care of children. Literacy in children focuses on reading and writing activities from an early age. These activities can be called pre-reading and pre-writing activities. There are subjects in this research, namely two families who have children in preschool age, namely 0-6 years in Ledeng Village, Cidadap District, Bandung City. Data collection in research uses interview, survey and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis techniques in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on research results, children's reading success and literacy culture are influenced by the family environment that shapes them. The more positive stimulation and influence given to children, such as the introduction of vocabulary and support for reading, the faster children can understand the writing they read and are able to encourage the success of a literacy culture in the family. The results were found in two different family samples and based on these results it was found that the more positive stimulation provided, such as the introduction of vocabulary and support for reading, the faster children can understand the writing they read and are able to encourage the success of a literacy culture in the family. Abstract

This research is based on the many cases of parental divorce in Medan City that cause problems for their children. The purpose of this study is to reveal the problems experienced by children victims of parental divorce in Medan City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case study research. The existing data was collected using observation and interview techniques. The analysis used in this research activity is Miles and Huberman's analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research subjects in this research activity were 7 child victims of parental divorce in Medan City. The results of this study stated the problems experienced by children victims of parental divorce in Medan City, namely problems with their mental and physical health, inhibiting their growth and development, experiencing difficulties in overcoming problems that occur in themselves and their lives, and the emergence of problems related to the difficulty of building relationships between their parents and themselves. As a result of the problems experienced by divorce victims' children, they make themselves more independent and strong individuals in living their lives.  Keywords: Children;Victims;Parents;Divorce

Abstract

Individuals who start in universities will change their status from school students to college students in themselves. The demands and obstacles of college students during their studies must be resolved, if they are not resolved, they can trigger the emergence of stressors which are affect the appearance of psychological disorders such as symptoms of academic stress. One of the factor that influence academic stress is social support. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between social support and academic stress in college students of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. This research was a correlational quantitative research with simple random sampling as techniques for sample selection. Populations of this research was 2145 college students Psychology and Education faculty of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University with 301 respondents as sample. The data collection technique used a psychological scale with a Likert scale model consisting of a social support scale and an academic stress scale arranged based on scale aspects. The data analysis technique used was a product-moment correlation technique assisted by spss 21.0 for windows. The results of the data analysis obtained rxy=-0,264** with a sig value 0,000, then the hypothesis proposed by the researcher was accepted. It means there is a negative relationship between social support and academic stress on Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University college students. Keywords: Social Suport; Acedemic Stress; College Students

Abstract

In contemporary society, it is common to observe the trend of early marriage. Various factors, including age, play a significant role in determining one's readiness for marriage. As an individual's age increases, it tends to have a positive impact on their preparedness for marriage and the stability of their marital relationships. This research aims to assess the extent of age's influence on marriage preparedness in young women attending Madrasah Aliyah. The study encompassed a population of 83 female adolescents enrolled in Madrasah Aliyah. Given the limited population size (less than 100), a sampling technique was employed to select the sample. The analysis method employed was simple linear regression, with age serving as the independent variable and marriage readiness as the dependent variable.. The influence of the age variable on readiness to marry adolescent women in Madrasyah Aliyah can be seen from the results of simple linear regression analysis with sig. is 0.038 < 0.05. The results of the research show that age has a significant effect on the readiness to marry among young women at Madrasah Aliyah. The research suggestion is that future researchers further expand the research population so that the research results can be used and generalized. Keywords:Readiness for Marriage; Young lady

Abstract

Advancementss in the field of science and technology (IPTEK) lead to increasingly intricate changes and developments. Consequently, this evolution gives rise to societal challenges and novel demands that cannot be anticipated in advance. As a result, the educational sector perpetually grapples with issues stemming from the disparity between expectations and the outcomes achievable through the educational process (Muhibin, 2004: 39). The research methodology employed descriptive and correlational techniques to elucidate a research study and explore the association between two variables, X1(self-control) and X2(self-esteem), with Y (academic procrastination). The study encompassed a population of 99 students, with a sample size of 40 students from the Banjar tribe. The results of the correlational test analysis revealed a multiple correlation value of Ryx1x2 = 0.959, with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, surpassing the individual correlation values of rx1y = 0.957 (p<0.000) and rx2y = 0.887 (p<0.000). Furthermore, the Fcount value of 214.494, with a p-value of 0.000, was observed to be greater than the critical Ftable value (F0.05(2)(40) = 3.23). Consequently, the hypothesis positing no relationship between self-control and self-esteem, in conjunction with academic procrastination among Banjar ethnic students, was rejected.
