Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of audit delay in Indonesia, using Meta Analysis. Where Meta analysis is a standard statistical method that serves to synthesize results from individual studies that have "same" themes in order to provide a more significant answer (Cooper, 2010). The sample in this study using 35 study (articles, working papers, theses) obtained from google scholar from 2008-2018 obtained from google scholar, and selected by purposive sampling. Each selected scientific publication must have the same concept and definition, both dependent and independent variables. The results of empirical testing with Meta Analysis found that ROA, DER, DR, Auditor Opinion, Profit / Loss, and Age of Company is the determinant of audit delay. While Total Assets and Auditor Reputation is not a determinant factor audit delay

Abstract

In the production department of the D&K Building plant which serves as a place to assemble tire building materials to become a green tire, there is a jointless machine which functions to install jointless material to be assembled with other materials. The frequency of damage in jointless machine components is still high that causes the high losstime. The high losstime indicates a small value of reliability of the machine. The data needed in this study are damaged engine components, engine failure period, and engine component replacement time. In this study, critical components were analysed. The methods used in this analysis were FMEA, LTA and MTTF. The result of the analysis showed that the bearing is jammed with an average reliability of 49% with an MTTF value of 30 days. Broken bearings value an average reliability of 8.5% to an MTTF value of 56 days. Piping accessories (jointless stopper) the average value of reliability is 52% to an MTTF value of 145 days. The stopper bolt has an average reliability of 50% to an MTTF value of 385 days. The results showed that the determination of the critical component replacement time interval can determine the appropriate maintenance activities on the Jointless machine so that the right RCM decision for the company can be achieved.

Abstract

Electric cars are currently being developed by many people because of low pollution and many countries used them in their daily activity. One of the important and main component is a battery, especially the Battery Management System (BMS) which can optimize the implementation of electric cars. BMS can protect and maintain the battery performance efficiently and at the same time can be a fault detection. Basically, It has three important parameters, there are current, voltage, and temperature that must be maintained and there is no overcurrent, overcharging, and discharging for too long because it can cause a fire. The protection of the BMS on electric cars need battery testing and done by taking current and voltage data, which prioritizes discharging and overdischarging test with a capacity of 2,2 Ah or a maximum capacity of 4,2 Volt. This research optimizes the work of BMS when experiencing faults/errors in order to work properly. The battery is modelled with a simple battery model (Rint) which previously identified parameters and formed a state space that aims to make fault detection. The results showed that fault detection using the Kalman Filter algorithm is very efficient and reliable in improving readings of overcurrent and overdischarge data so as to maintain security and extend/lifetime battery so that it can be implemented safely by the public

Abstract

The strategies of procurement business process had to be innovative, effective, and efficient in order for the company can still competitive in the business world. One of the strategies used with ERP systems is now implemented as one solution based on products or services. This research using qualitative methodology, where the data received and processed in the form of data depiction of field conditions the research, not a number or calculation but the data processed by analyzing results of interviews and documents provided by the company. By using an ERP system, companies can be helped by integrating all business transactions within the company. In addition, users also have an important role in the ERP system, because users have a direct involvement in the influence of cultural changes after the system implementation is executed. The implementation of the ERP system in this study was applied to one of the coal distributor companies. The results of the research analysis show that the existence of an ERP system in business processes can help the user in completing work more easily and quickly, because the data that the user enters into the system will be formed into information. And the ERP system in the company results in changes in work culture that are usually done manually and some are done orally must be done documented both on the system and in an archive

Abstract

Abstract Nowadays, as the gain of the global manufacturing technology, particularly at the industrial revolution 4.0, commonly it has also been increasing the amount of the waste products which directly impact and contaminate to the water quality. Hence, the water monitoring is required to maintain water’s quality whether it is safe or not, moreover at the local water supply utility (PDAM) which generally consumed by residents. Water quality monitoring becomes a vital issue and main concerns in these current days because the numbers of water resources are limited, whereas the total citizens in Indonesia are continuously increasing. Therefore, this study presents a review analysis about the design of water quality monitoring using the Internet of Things (IoT), which includes the key parameters selection at the water quality, proper sensors selection, and also IoT's platforms selection. Water quality monitoring will be acquired at several points in Surabaya using sensor array contain many sensors such as temperature sensors, turbidity sensors, conductivity sensors, and oxygen gas sensors. Then, data acquired from sensors are transmitted to the microcontroller which has the IoT module. Hence, information access from central to the user can be monitored, downloaded, or controlled everywhere and anywhere.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of material selection on the strength of the main landing gear frame for UAV aircraft using the finite element method. Linear static analysis was carried out using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017 software. Main landing gear frame using Aluminum 5052-H38, Aluminium 5083 87 Cold Formed, Aluminium 6061, and CFRP. UAV aircraft was weighing 85 kg with a landing speed of 10 m/s and impact time of 0,5 second. The simulation results show that the landing gear frames of the lightest in a row were CFRP, Al 5083 87 Cold Formed, Al 5052-H38, and Al 6061. Materials that have the greatest safety factor were CFRP, Al 5083 87 Cold Formed, Al 6061, and Al 5052-H38.

Abstract

Power system will operate in a stable condition if there is a balance between the power of mechanical prime mover and electric power output. Each increment or decrease the load must be followed with changes mechanical prime mover generator power. If it does not immediately adjust then would make the system become unstable or loss of synchronization. Project of Pakistan Deep Water Container Port, which provided the plant duty these days, transient stability must to be studied to determine system realibility during tansient disturbance. This final project is focused on transient stability include frequency response, the angle of the rotor, and voltage. Load shedding mechanism is performed by considering short circuit, motor starting, and the generator shedding phenomenon. Some of our results are not intuitive

Abstract

Steel calendar machine is a machine that combines compound and steel became steel treatment and then will be processed on a steel cutting machine to make a steel belt. The steel calender machine used in this process has a high losstime. Therefore, the study was conducted using the total productive maintenance (TPM) method to determine its effectiveness by measuring the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and the six big losses. Data collection is taken from barcode sistem material that is carried out for 3 months from January 2018 to March 2018. Given the value of OEE in January 2018 of 43%, February 2018 of 41%, and in March 2018 was 58% for six big losses value is equipment failure losses of 3.32%, set up and adjustment of 22.37%, reduce Speed losses of 2.35%, idling minor and stoppages by 2.01%, defect losses by 0.45%. Based on the analysis, the most dominant losstime for 3 months resulted in low value of OEE is losing size and six big losses in set up and adjustment. In April the engine improves the 4M barcode sistem and the wire up schedule on the machine, and got the OEE value in April of 51% with six big losses of 30%.

Abstract

The large number of cattle in the Banyumas Regency is not matched by the number of veterinarians. Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Service (Dinkanak) of Banyumas Regency Note 961 cases of sick cows with 39 types of cow disease in 2016, plus the cost of bringing in doctors to treat sick cows is still expensive for farmers. To overcome this problem, this study aims to create a responsive expert website for cow disease diagnosis using the Forward Chaining method to help cattle farmers identify the disease of cattle and its treatment. For the development of expert systems this research uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. To ensure the quality of the expert system, it was tested with three approaches (1) Blackbox testing for functional systems whose results were all functional systems running well (2) testing Validation comparing diagnosis results of Expert Systems with Doctors where expert system diagnosis accuracy was 85% (3) User acceptance testing to test the usefulness and quality of information by questionnaire techniques from a total of 326 respondents, 76% agreed that the application can help diagnose cow disease and the expert system is quite easy to operate.

Abstract

Industry 4.0, in agriculture, push developing technology which combining automation system and update data exchange via internet technolgoy. The technological developments, in agriculture, in Indonesian have not developed significantly, therefore it is needed a technological development toward industri 4.0. One of the developments in industry 4.0 in agriculture is monitoring system. The goal of this research is to design a monitoring system which conected to internet and using telegram application for accessing data in smart farming. In this research, data, taken, is temperature and moisture soil since both of data are very influencing in plant growth process. Thi design is just a prototype that is used for simulating monitoring process on agriculture land then it is needed temperature and moisture soil sensor for sensing, STM 32 as microcontroller, LCD for displaying monitoring data, bluetooth as connecting to gateway, PC as gateway to connect to internet and android cell phone for installing telegram application. The simulation result show data at IoT device matched to data on telegram application. With telegram application that could access monitoring data from agriculture land will increase agriculture quality result so as implementation of this technology could be one of supporting agriculture development toward industry 4.0
