Abstract

Post date pregnancy is one of the pregnancies that are at risk, this case can cause many risks and the higher complication either for mothers or the baby who had beenborn couldhave asphyxia. The purpose of the study is to find out the relationship of post date pregnancy and the incident of asphyxia neonatorum. The type of the study used was analytic survey with historical cohort research design. The population sample was all maternity mothers in RSUD H. A. Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba 2016 was 1526. The sample was 307 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with systematic random sampling. The instrument taking used was performed through observation. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square with α 0.05 and Relative Risk test (RR). The result of this study found that the analyzed by Chi Square test obtained (p-value: 0,00) and relative risk value 3.066. which means that there was relationship of post date pregnancy and the incident of asphyxia neonatorum in RSUD H. A. Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba 2016, with a relative risk value (RR) of 3.066 means that mothers who have a post date at risk 3 times more childbearing asphyxia compared with pregnant aterm. It is recommented for midwifes to be more cautions in determining the age of the pregnancy so that the incident of the asphyxia neonatorum can be minimized.

Abstract

Childbirth is an important process for a mother. In the process of childbirth naturally the mother will spend a lot of energy and experience changes both physiologically and psychologically. Data obtained in the 2016 Medical Record total maternity of 1589 there were 132 cases of maternity women who experienced preeclampsia which were divided into 36 cases of mild preeclampsia, 36 cases of severe preeclampsia and 90 cases of eclampsia. The formulation of the problem in this study is "What are the characteristics of maternal women who have preeclampsia in H.A. Hospital Sulthan Daeng Radja, Bulukumba Regency, 2016 . The purpose of this research is to determine the classification of maternal women who have preeclampsia at H.A Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital in Bulukumba Regency in terms of age, parity and gestational age. The design of this study uses quantitative descriptive. The study design uses quantitative descriptive, research time in August, and conducted at H.A Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, a population and sample of 132 cases. by using total sampling techniques, research instruments using the register of maternity rooms. Based on the results of research conducted classification of respondents based on the type of preeclampsia most experienced severe preeclampsia (PEB). Abstract

Babies are said to be Low Birth Weight (LBW) if the baby's birth weight is <2500 grams. Several factors influence LBW incidence, one of which is maternal parity. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between maternal parity and LBW events in the Scope of Work in Lembanna Public Health Center, Kajang Sub-district, Bulukumba Regency in 2016-2017. This research uses an analytic observational design with a historical cohort approach. while the sample in this study amounted to 42 LBW infants using total sampling techniques and 42 non LBW infants using random sampling techniques. Based on the results of statistical analysis of the relationship with LBW events in the Scope of Work in the Health Center of Lembanna, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency, 2016-2017 using the test chi-square, with a level of confidence (α = 0.05). Based on the test results obtained value (p = 1,000) then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. So it can be concluded that, "there is no relationship between maternal parity with the incidence of LBW in the scope of work of the Lembanna Public Health Center, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency". The researcher suggests that the results of this study can be used as information and input for students and all related institutions to determine the relationship of maternal parity with LBW events in infants, and for future researchers to be able to add variables related to LBW.

Abstract

Jaundice is yellowing of the sclera, skin or other tissue due to accumulation of bilirubin in the body or accumulation of bilirubin in the blood more than 5 mg / dl in 24 hours, which indicates the occurrence of functional disorders of the liver, biliary system, or hematological system. The general objective of this research is to find out the description of midwife knowledge about care for jaundice at Gattareng Health Center, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency in 2016. The research design is a model or method used by researchers to conduct a study that gives direction to the course of research. This type of research uses descriptive design. In this study using a sampling technique by means of total sampling or saturated sampling. The population and sample in this study were 32 mothers who gave birth at the Gattareng Health Center, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency in 2016. The research was conducted at the Gattareng Health Center, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency, which began on June 16 until May 24, 2016. The distribution of research found that 32 respondents, who have knowledge of jaundice baby care with good categories are as many as 2 mothers (6.3%) with enough categories as many as 2 mothers (6.3%), and in the category of less than 28 mothers (87.5%). It can be concluded that the lack of knowledge possessed by mothers about jaundice baby care at the Gattareng Health Center, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency in 2016 because most mothers only had low and middle education. And most of the mothers do not have jobs and the lack of information obtained by mothers from health workers (midwives).

Abstract

According to WHO data estimates that there are 500,000 maternal deaths throughout the world every year, as many as 99 percents of deaths occur in developing countries. From this figure, it is estimated that almost one mother dies every minute due to pregnancy and childbirth. While in Indonesia the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) during childbirth is based on the 2015 Indonesian Health Demographic Survey where the MMR becomes 115 per 100,000 live births, so it still requires hard work from all components to reach the target. Research Objective To find out the Relationship between Knowledge of Pregnant Women About the Process of Labor and Anxiety Facing Labor in the Bonto Bangun Community Health Center, Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency. Research design cross-sectional design. The population and sample in this study were pregnant women who were in the third trimester at the Bonto Public Health Center in the rilau ale sub-district of Bulukumba Regency as many as 34 people were taken using purposive sampling techniques using questionnaire measuring instruments. There is a Relationship between Knowledge of Pregnant Women About the Process of Childbirth With Anxiety Facing Childbirth at the Bonto Bangun Health Center, Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency in 2015 with the results of a squared test obtained a value of 0,000 (> α = 0.5). Conclusions and Recommendations based on the results of research on the analysis of the relationship of knowledge of pregnant women about the process of childbirth with anxiety facing labor at the post-packaging bontobangun district rilau ale. In the interests of pregnant women in the face of childbirth required a high level of education, family support, age and parity in alleviating anxiety levels.

Abstract

Infant massage will stimulate the vagus nerve, the nerve where it will increase the intestinal peristalsis to empty stomach, the baby quickly so hungry that food intake will increase. This nerve also stimulates increased production of digestive enzymes, thus increasing the absorption of nutrients. Nutrients are absorbed will participate in blood circulation also increased by sympathetic nerve action potentials. This study aims to determine the effect of Infant Massage (0-4 Months) against Improved Weight Infants In Public Healt Bontobangung Quasi-experimental research type approach Non-Equivalent Control Group or non-randomized control group design. Samples were 30 people with purposive sampling technique sampling.The results were obtained using two independent samples t test obtained value ρ = 0.008 is smaller than α = 0.05 so that Ho refused and Ha accepted which means no effect of massage with baby's weight gain. Suggested health officials need to do counseling, demonstrations and distribution of leaflets so that mothers are motivated to do massage on the baby, this can be done through activities poyandu.

Abstract

Early breastfeeding initiation is the process of letting a baby suckle itself immediately after birth. This is the nature and grace of God that has been prepared for us. Doing it is also not difficult, it only takes about one to two hours. Early initiation of breastfeeding or abbreviated as IMD is a program that is being intensively recommended by the government. Breastfeeding and not breastfeeding is an illustration that IMD is not a mother's breastfeeding program but babies who must actively find their own nipples. The purpose of this writing is a known description of the knowledge of pregnant women about the initiation of early breastfeeding (IMD) in Borong Rappoa Health Center, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. The results of the study are presented in the form of a presentation frequency table, where each table displays the number of pregnant women classified by age, education, and occupation, then the knowledge of pregnant women is categorized as good, sufficient, and lacking. The type of research used is a simple descriptive method with a sample size research as many as 34 pregnant women With the sampling technique in this study is the total sampling that is all pregnant women who come for a pregnancy check-up at Borong Rappoa Health Center, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency amounted to 34 people. Based on the results of the study of respondents who were well knowledge by 3 respondents (8.8%), the number of respondents who were knowledgeable was 17 respondents (50.0%), and respondents who were knowledgeable were 14 respondents (41.2%). In conclusion, the knowledge of pregnant women about the initiation of early breastfeeding (IMD) in the Borong Rappoa Puskesmas, Kindang Sub-district, Bulukumba Regency is mostly in the category of Enough, as many as 17 respondents (50.0%).

Abstract

The puerperium is the period that begins after the birth of the placenta and ends when the uterine uterus returns to its state before pregnancy, the puerperium for about 6 weeks (Astutik, 2015). Lack of knowledge of how to treat perineal wounds will lead to infections, complications, and the death of postpartum mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge description of Postpartum mothers about Perineum Wound Care during the puerperium at Lembanna Public Health Center, Kajang Sub-district, Bulukumba Regency in 2017. This study used a descriptive study and was carried out at the Lembanna Health Center, Kajang Sub-district, Bulukumba District in June 2017 with a sample of 30 respondents of Postpartum mothers who used a sampling technique, namely Total Sampling. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that from 30 respondents, those who have a good category of knowledge are 10 respondents (33.3%), who have enough knowledge with categories of 8 respondents (26.7%) and those who have knowledge in the poor category as many as 12 respondents (40.0%). It can be concluded that the description of Postpartum Mother Knowledge about Perineal Wound Care during the Postpartum Period in the working area of ​​Lembanna Health Center, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency 2017. Of the 30 respondents in general who were well knowledgeable (33.3%), sufficient (26.7%), less (40.0%).

Abstract

Based on the preliminary data collection at the Bontobangun Public Health Center, the number of pregnant women in 2014 was 462 people doing pregnancy exercises as many as 9.24 (9.24%), in 2015 there were 724 pregnant women doing pregnancy exercises. as many as 46 people (6.35%). The General Purpose of this Research is to know the Description of Pregnant Women Knowledge About the Importance of the Implementation of Pregnancy Gymnastics. Bulukumba in June 2016 The sampling technique used in this study was the accidental sampling technique. As for the population in this study were Pregnant women as many as 90 people and the sample in this study was pregnant women amounted to 47 people. As for the research instruments used in this study were questionnaires, and data collection techniques in this study were based on primary data and processed manually. From the research that has been done, the results show that from 47 respondents the knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of the implementation of pregnancy exercises are 3 people (6.4%) in the good category, 15 people (31.9%) in the sufficient category, and 29 people (61, 7%) in the less category. By looking at the results obtained, it can be put forward some suggestions as an effort to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of implementing pregnancy exercises, among others, for researchers it is expected that with this research, researchers can increase knowledge about the importance of implementing pregnancy exercises and can provide counseling and information in the future as the next generation. For institutions, it is expected to be able to add book references on pregnancy exercise, and for public health, it is expected that midwives can provide or improve counseling and information to pregnant women about the importance of implementing pregnancy exercises.
