Abstract

This study is a survey research on Acceptance Analysis of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Extension Workers in Agricultural Extension Activities. The research objective was to determine the effect of variable Perceived Ease of Use of ICTs on Perceived Usefulness use of ICT, the influence of Perceived Ease of Use of ICTs on Intensity Behaviour Using ICT, influence perception Usefulness use of ICT to the intensity of Behaviour Using ICT, and the influence of Intensities Behaviour Using ICT to the use of ICT in Currents. This type of research is explanatory research by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and involve agricultural extension workers as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and then analysed by quantitative descriptive and hypothesis testing and regression analysis. The results of the study are (1) the results of descriptive analysis of the four variables are variables Perceived Ease of Use of ICT, variable Perceived Usefulness use of ICT, variable intensity Behaviour use of ICT, and variable use of ICT In Currents has an average category High, (2) Test Results Hypothesis analysis simple linear regression, namely: (a) for the variable Perceived Ease of Use ICTs to variable Perceived Usefulness use of ICT, and variable Perceived Ease of Use ICTs to variable intensity of the use of ICT has a significant influence (b) While the variable Perceived Usefulness Using ICT to variable intensity Behaviour of Use ICT, and the variable intensity of Behaviour Using ICT to variable use of ICT in Currents not significant. The implication of this research is very necessary in their outreach activities using ICTs to improve the success of the field of education, and what is important is the use of ICT must be effective and efficient. Keywords: Information and Communication Technology, Technology Acceptance Model

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the best proportion of the unfermented cassava waste and cassava starch on development and adsorption power and sensory quality of “cassava rengginang”.  The research method using a design structured factorially composed of two factors; the first was the added cassava waste consisting of five levels symbolised with (A) i.e. A1 = 30%, A2 = 40%, A3 = 50%, A4=60% and A5 = 70% and the second was the addition of cassava starch consisting of 5 levels symbolised with (C) i.e. C1=70%, C2= 60%, C3= 50%, C4 = 40% and C5= 30%. The observed variables are the sensory quality of the produced cassava rengginang including texture, colour, flavour and taste. The development power and the adsorption power were measured by comparing the perimeter and weight of the crude(unprocessed) and the fried (processed) cassava rengginang respectively. The cassava rengginang that is most preferred by the panellists with the highest development power off 61,49% is the combination of A2 C2 using a proportion between cassava waste and cassava starch of 40:60. The lowest oil adsorption power of 34,55% is shown by the combination of A1C1 with a proportion between cassava waste and cassava starch of 30:70 while for the sensory quality of texture, flavour and taste is shown by the combination A2C2 with a proportion between cassava waste and cassava starch of 40:60, whereas concerning the colour, the combination A1C1 is most preferred with a proportion between cassava waste and starch of 30:70. Keywords: Cassava Waste, Development Power, Adsorption Power and Sensory Quality of “cassava rengginang”.

Abstract

Srumdude Subdistrict is a sub-district with the flagship of Salak commodity with a production of 554,310 KW and continues to increase annually, but there is a problem related to the marketing of the agricultural products, Salak price is not optimal and tends to the harvest. The purpose of this research is to know the strategy of farmers in marketing through e-commerce by specifying segmentation (geographic and demographic) targeting (value, volume, product, price, promotion and distribution) and posisitioning (STP) as well as know Salak business strategy using SWOT analysis. The implementation of this study was held in the month of February until July 2019 in Srumdude village, Srumdude District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. Research is done with a descriptive analysis method. The sampling location is purposive and samples were taken using the Harry King Nomogram. Based on the results of the study shows the implementation of marketing strategy only reaches 36.48% and SWOT analysis shows the strategy that can be applied, namely marketing development through e-commerce and exhibitions, product development into partnerships and Pressing the input cost. Keywords: STP Marketing Strategic, E-commerce, SWOT

Abstract

Sustainable Agriculture System (SAS) is an innovative technology that could overcome the problems related to environmental sustainability. Farmers in Neglasari village, Dramaga has not entirely adopted the SAS innovation including integrated pest management, balanced fertilization, crop rotation, and tillage as recommended. This study aims to: (1) To analyse factors that influencing farmer perception toward SAS implementation. (2) To analyse the factors that influencing farmer attitude toward SPB. (3) Analyse the factors that influencing SAS adoption. The research conducted with survey method that involved 31 fruit and vegetable farmers. The results showed that age had significantly negative effect toward perception. Information from the extension and the type of participation had significantly positive effect toward perception. Type of participation had significantly positively effect toward the attitudes of farmers towards sustainable agriculture systems. Age and perceptions of sustainable farming systems had significantly positive effect toward the adoption of sustainable farming systems, while the extension information and the type of participation had significantly negative effect on the adoption of sustainable farming systems. Keywords: Sustainability Agricultural System, Adoption Innovation, Extension

Abstract

A study was conducted to investigate the effect of antagonistic microorganisms and dose for the damping off control in spinach that were carried out in Banguntapan village, Banguntapan sub-district, Bantul district, from July to September 2016. The study used a complete randomized block design consisting of 5 treatments in the control of damping off, fungicide propineb, Rhizobakteri, Trichoderma sp, mixture of Trichoderma sp and Rhizobakeri with replication 4 times each treatment. The application is done by watering the land one day before the spinach seeds are planted, while the observation is done from the seeds planted until the plant is 30 days with 3 days interval. The results showed that the control treatment with the mixture of Rhizobacteria and Trichoderma sp concentration of 3 millilitres in 1 litter water showed effective results based on the analysis of the incubation period, the percentage of attacked plants and the intensity of the attack. Keywords: Damping off, Rhizobakteri, Trichoderma sp, incubation period, percentage of affected plants, intensity of attack

Abstract

Soybean rust disease is caused by Phakopsora pachyrhizi Syd fungus. It was important because the disease was contagious and there is always an attack in soybean farming, resulting in yield loss varied from 10-70 percent, but most farmers did not conduct controlling due to the expensive price of synthetic fungicides. In nature there are many mineral materials and plants that are toxic to microorganisms, further research in order to know the type of natural ingredients and effective doses in controlling rust diseases on soybean was carried out in the Banguntapan village, Banguntapan district, Bantul regency, from March to October 2015. Research was performed using randomized complete block design  comprises 5 treatments use natural ingredients for controlling rust disease of soybean were clove oil (3 cc / l of water), prusi (CuSO4) and lime [Ca (OH)2] solution mixture, sulphur (S) with lime, salt (NaCl) solution with a concentration of 3 grams / l of water and water as a control, with replication  as many as 4 times each treatment. Application is done by spraying the leaves beginning the age of 14 days after planting to 70 days with an interval of 7 days. The results showed that treatment with a mixed solution of prusi control with lime concentration of 3 grams in 1 litre of water showed effective results based on the analysis of the incubation period and percentage of diseased leaf and can reduce the intensity of rust disease by 26.84 percent. Keywords: soybean rust disease, prusi, the intensity of attack

Abstract

The study aims to determine the type of botanical pesticides are effective for controlling rust disease on soybean. The research was conducted in the village of Banguntapan, Bantul in June and October 2014. The study used a complete randomized block design with 5 treatments and 4 replication, control materials used are clove oil, lemongrass oil, betel oil, jatropha seed oil and water (control). Applied control rust disease by spraying the leaves of soybean plant age begins at 14 days with an interval of 7 days. The results showed that clove oil is more effective for controlling rust disease than lemongrass oil, betel oil and jatropha seed oil based on the incubation period, the percentage of diseased leaf, the intensity of the attack and the loss amounted to 46.38 percent attack. Keywords: Pesticides Botanical, Rust Disease, The Incubation Period, The Intensity of The Attacks

Abstract

The study aims to determine the concentration of Trichoderma sp. effective for controlling Fusarium oxysporum wilt in chilli plants, which was carried out in Banguntapan Village, Banguntapan District, Bantul District, from March to October 2018. The study used a complete randomized block design consisting of 5 treatments of Trichoderma sp. ie 0.0 g, 2.50 g, 5.0 g, 7.50 g and 10.0 g biomass / m2 with 4 replications each treatment. Application was carried out by isolating the biomass of Trichoderma sp. inoculated in 2.5 kg of organic fertilizer / compost, then sprinkled on the ield before chilli seedlings were planted. Based on the analysis of the incubation period and the intensity of the attacks, showed that the treatment of Trichoderma sp. with a concentration of 10.0 g of biomass gave effective results and reduced the intensity of Fusarium oxysporum wilt attack by 12.15 percent. Keywords: Trichoderma sp., Fusarium oxysporum, concentration, attack intensity.

Abstract

The research aims to know treatment combination influence of media composition, media thickness, and paddy seeds density on the result of planting seen from the seed amount per hole, plant depth and level of clumsiness with indojarwo trans planter 2: 1. This research was conducted in Celeban, Agricultural Extension College, Yogyakarta. This research was performed from October 30, 2016 to November 17, 2016. The research method arranged in base pattern Randomized Complete Block Design, consisting 3 factors. The first factor is the composition on media (P), consists of 3 level types, soil 1,5: compost 0,5 (P1), soil 1: compost 1 (P2), soil 0,5: compost 1,5 (P3). The second factor is the thickness of media (M), consists of 3 types, media 1 cm and cover 0,5 cm (MI), media 1,5 cm and cover 0,5 cm (M2), media 2cm and cover 0,5cm (M3). The third factor is the density of paddy seeds (K) consists of 3 types, 60 g/ dapog (KI), 70 g/ dapog (K2) and 80 g/dapog (K3). Each combination receives 2 times treatment, total 54 units of treatment. Statistical analysis was conducted to determine the influence difference between treatment with diverse examination 5% and 1 % and to know the real difference between treatments with 5 % DMR test. The result of the research combination treatment of comparison/ composition seedlings media (P), media seedlings thickness (M), and seed density (K) had no significant effect on the average number of seeds per hole, the average plant dept, and average of seed stands on rice plant. The combination of the treatment of comparison/ composition seedlings (P), the thickness of seedlings (M), and seed density (K) that showed the best result of planting with trans planter parameter number seed/ hole that is combination of P1M2K2, plant dept parameter that is combination P3M2K3, and seed stands parameter on rice plant combination is P3M2K3. Number of seed/holes, depth of planting, and the seed stand of rice plant with trans planter planting, influenced by other factors, it’s land preparation factor. Keywords: dapog seedbed, trans planter, result of planting

Abstract

The number of agricultural workers in Pulosari Village is sufficient, but many young people and communities choose to work outside the agricultural field. The availability of manpower for farming activities in Pulosari Village is low, so that agricultural machinery assistance is needed to achieve the planting target. Management of existing farming business namely tractor, Trans planter, Thresher, Power Weedier, Sprayer and Combine Harvester. The role of combined groups of farmers and counsellor in developing rice cultivation through introduction and supply of farming, can improve farmer?s skill so that the development of agricultural tools and machinery can be used by farmers and do not negatively affect the labour of farm laborers and positively affect the level of wage of labour.  The research objectives are: to know the availability of man power, to know the management of rice farming and to know the role of Farmers Group Unions in realizing the independence of farmers in farming in Pulosari Village Kebakkramat District Karanganyar Regency. Keywords: role, extensions workers, counsellor farmer?s, Machinery Technology
