Abstract

Biological agents as one of the alternatives that are environmentally friendly control and in accordance with the guidelines of IPM is still not implemented. The purpose of this study to determine the interaction of dose and concentration of biological agents on the growth and yield of onion as well as to the intensity of the disease on onion crop, effect of the use of biological agents Trichoderma sp on growth, onion, and diseases of the onion crop, the concentration of PGPR right for growth and onion as well as against diseases of the onion crop. Fieldwork was arranged in a randomized block design Complete (RAKL) two factors, one control and three replications. The irst factor is the dose of Trichoderma harsianum (T) consists of two levels ie: T0: Without Trichoderma harsianum L, T1: Trichoderma harsianum L. dose of 50 kg / ha (5 mg / m2). The second factor is the concentration of PGPR (P) consists of 4 levels: P0: Without PGPR, P1: PGPR concentration of 2%, Q2: PGPR concentration of 4%, P3: PGPR concentration of 6%. The results showed no interaction between dose and concentration on the intensity of fusarium wilt, growth variables dry weight per hill, tuber crops variable dry weight per hectare. The highest efficacy for controlling diseases in onion combination treatment without the use of Trichoderma sp and PGPR concentration of 0%. PGPR concentration of 6% gave the highest yield of the dry weight of tuber crop yield of 12.7 tonnes per hectare. Keywords: Onion plant, Agensia conservation, Intensity of disease

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to design a model of synergistic partnership in cluster development of potato agribusiness in an effort to increase revenue and bargaining position of farmers in Aceh Province. System dynamics methodology was applied, a modelling approach based on systemic thinking and a perspective based on feedback information as well as delays to understand the complex dynamic behaviour of physical, biological, and social systems on the agribusiness cluster of potato. Potato production centres in Aceh Province, namely Central Aceh and Bener Meriah, were chosen to be the working area of the study. Identification of the need for synergistic partnership model done through literature and interviews with experts from stakeholders, namely practitioners and policy makers involved in the procedure of input supply, production, and marketing of potato output. Data collected consisted of primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with respondents, as well as the activity of Focus Group Discussion, while secondary data obtained through the study of literature from various sources of literature, books, scientific journals, and a variety of publications related to this research. Formulation of the models was conducted by using Vensim DSS Software, followed by simulation. The result of this study indicated the role of three major scenarios which were important to design a model of synergistic partnership in cluster development of potato agribusiness in Aceh Province, those were: (1) the scenario of shortening the payment receivables interval of farmers and cooperatives, which showing the increasing of cash amount, (2) the scenario of designing model of synergistic partnership through the addition of loan funds and the elimination of receivables structure, resulting in the increasing number of revenues, profits, R/C, and cash, (3) the scenario of doing certification to the potato from synergistic partnerships farmers, showing the increasing of acceptance, profitability, R/C, and cash. To design a model of synergistic partnership in cluster development of potato agribusiness is a model of innovation and institutional management, which can accelerate the development of potato commodity, increase revenue and bargaining position of farmers, as well as accelerating economic growth in the region. Keywords: System Dynamics, Synergistic Partnership, Agribusiness Cluster, Potato Cultivation

Abstract

Increased rice production   in the Special Effort program, its development using the System of Rice Intensification. Provision of seed is urgent. Germination gradually handed over to private parties through multiple seed producers and its breeder located in the village / District. The government only plays a role in setting the policy, guidance, research and monitoring. The problem is in every manufacturer in cooperation / partnership are problem is in each producer that management is not equal to one another because it depends on the culture of producers and growers. From the condition, carried out research in May to October 2015, with the aim of knowing how the implementation of the operational management of rice seed in the district of Bantul. The study was conducted by survey and interview 29 breeders and 7 producers. The result: all manufacturers in the survey locations, all manufacturers treated equally   in provision of inputs, processes, operation and sustainability of the partnership. The difference is four manufacturers in the form of cash and 3 in the form of means of production. Transformation for, three manufacturers used trained personnel, 2 Manufacturers used specialized personnel and 2 Manufacturers used inexperienced personnel. The sustainability of the partnership by five manufacturers and the two producers did not continue. Continuity producers with breeder emphasis on openness and trust. Breeder generally managed by individual manufacturers and government agencies run more sustainable in every season, compared to manufacturers who have a centralized organization. Keywords: Operation management, producer, rice seed breeder
