Abstract

Badī ’as the study of the beauty of a sentence, in which it is related to the beauty of language style and is called muhassinat. This study aims to analyze muhassināt al-ma’nawiyah on surah Al-wāqi’ah. This study includes a qualitative study that is collecting data from words and not from numbers. While this type of research is a literature review, which examines and collects data by studying existing documents, for example books, magazines and others. In this study shows that in surah Al-wāqi’ah there are several muhassināt al-ma’nawiyah, including: al-Ṭibāq, murā'atu al-Naẓir, irṣād, etc.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview about the application of blended learning especially during the distance education. This study used a qualitative approach with case study methods. Data collection conducted through interviews, observations and documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, in the learning planning activities, teacher prepared lesson plan, syllabus, face-to-face scheduling, teaching materials and evaluation tools that form as soft files. The learning process is carried out in three stages: the initial, core and final activities. Evaluation of learning in the form of assignments, midterm and final examination. Abstract

Application of the word wall  method is one of alternative to improve students Arabic vocabulary. A problem for student of class III A in MI Al-Ba’ats is the low of Arabic vocabulary which has an impact on the students learning outcomes. The aim of this skills research are to improve of students Arabic vocabulary skills by using  word wall media. This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) with fourth cycles. Each cycles concisted of six phases, which: identification of problems, need assessment, idea, implication, and decision making. The subject of the research are 21 students of the class III A MI Al-Ba’ats. The data sources of the research are the research and students. Data collection techniques are used an observation, an interview, tests and documentation. If the individual completeness reaches ≥ 65 and if value of the whole completeness reaches 75% of the students more than ≥ 65, then it could he said as a complete learning outcomes. The average value of learning outcomes in the pre-action is 62 and the value of the whole completeness is 33.3%. The average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle 69 and the value of the whole completeness is 66.7%. The average value of learning outcomes in the second cycle is 73 and the value of the whole completeness is 85.7%. The average value of learning outcomes in the third cycle is 80 and the value of the whole completeness is 95.2%. The average value of learning outcomes in the fourth cycle is 80.1 and the value of the whole completeness is 95.2%. The conclution of this research is by using word wall media, it can improve students Arabic vocabulary skills at class III A of MI Al-Ba’ats.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of presuppositions and what language functions contained in the speech of characters in the film Dzeeb. Researchers used a descriptive analysis method using the method of referencing which has the basis of tapping techniques. Based on the results of research on the first Dzeeb film, the utterances of the characters have four presuppositions, namely existential, lexical, factive, and non-active presuppositions. Existential presuppositions become findings that dominate the utterances of the characters in the film. Counterfactual presuppositions and structural presuppositions are not found in the speech of the characters in the Dzeeb film. The second is the function of language in speech utterances there are language functions including fatigue, directive, metalinguistic, and imaginative, referential functions. The directive language function is the finding that dominates the utterances of the characters in the Dzeeb film.

Abstract

The Arabic debate competition was canceled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. So that ITHLA held the competition through zoom. Meanwhile, the Arabic Language Education Study Program held an Arabic language debate through WhatsApp. The researcher aims to describe the Arabic debate amid the Covid 19 pandemic. Researchers used a qualitative approach. Researchers obtained data by observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data were analyzed descriptively. The result of this research is that debates during the pandemic are carried out through zoom and WhatsApp. The challenge is that this activity can be followed by Arabic language students throughout Indonesia because the Arabic debate is only followed by students in Java. Meanwhile, the problem is that students have to make sure their signal is good. Also, debates via WhatsApp at IAIN Jember lowered student interest. Meanwhile, students who debated through zoom found difficulties in rebutting.

Abstract

Learners of a second language struggle to select and produce appropriate different kinds of speech acts due to their complexity. The students of the Islamic boarding schools are assigned to acquire two non-native languages compulsory and concurrently, namely Arabic and English. This study adapts the descriptive analytical approach to investigate the pragmalinguistic of the speech acts of apologizing in the Arabic language as produced by non-native speakers with special focus to the IFIDs. The participants are 202 students recruited to fill in a DCT that consists of eight situations regarding the students’ violation of the rules of the school. The results show that the students tend to use certain semantic formulas of apologies due to their lack of linguistic proficiency. To conclude, these forms are template slots of the IFID in which the non-native apologizer can slot his/her apology within these templates, and hence, enrich their pragmatic competence ability.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how many forms of the command amr in surah Yāsīn, and what translation techniques are used by HBJ. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with content analysis model. The source of the data in this study is the translation of the Al-Qur'an Bacaan Mulia by HBJ at surah Yāsīn. Research shows that the form of amr amounts to 12 which means haqīqi, researchers found seven verses. Spread on verses 11, 26, 45, 61, 64, 79, and 82. While from the form of amr means balāgi means li-irsyād (suggestion) the researcher finds five verses. Spread on verses 13, 20, 21, 25, and 47. Furthermore, the translation technique used by HBJ in surah Yāsīn, literal technique that dominates 80%. While the modulation technique is only 20%.

Abstract

This study examines the diversity of meanings of the Qama verbs contained in the verses of the Qur'an. This study aims to find out the basic meaning and the extended meaning of the Qama verb. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The object of this research is the verb Qama. Data sources used were Al-Qur'an Manuscripts translated 30 juz, commentaries, and the internet. The data collection technique used is the note taking technique. In this study, the writer collected data from the main source, namely the Al-Qur'an Manuscripts, then the writer recorded the data in the form of sentences containing the meaning of the Qama verb. Data that has been collected, then classified. The results showed that the Qama verbs contained in the Qur'an have 10 different meanings, consisting of 1 basic meaning and 9 extended meanings. The basic meaning of the Qāma verb is to stand, while the meaning of the expansion of the Qāma verb is to carry out, take care of, replace, hold, occur, appear, face, stop, and wake up.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of students who are still relatively weak in terms of writing using Arabic. Though their intensity to learn Arabic is more than that of students in public high schools that have Arabic learning in it. One technique that can be used in learning to write descriptive essays or in Arabic is in clustering techniques. In this technique there are several stages for writing a description or in writing, wherein with this technique students get inspiration in their minds to pour into their wills. In this study, researchers used a Quasi-experimental method, with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In this study, researchers selected experimental group members and control group members each of 30 people. Furthermore, the experimental group was treated as a clustering technique, while the control group did not receive the same treatment using the lecture method. Thus there is a positive and significant relationship and influence on the ability of God willing to use clustering techniques

Abstract

Arabic learning must be dynamic following the challenges of the times. The incompatibility between planning and implementing Arabic learning caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has made Arabic learning nonoptimal. This research is oriented to describe E-learning implementation for Arabic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is library research using a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by exploring reference books and journals. The analysis technique uses an interactive data analysis model, which is carried out through data collection, data reduction, data explanation, and conclusions. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of e-learning in learning Arabic during the pandemic can be carried out following the learning implementation plan that has been prepared. This is because e-learning has features that teachers need in four Arabic language skills, namely: listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills.
