As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Parenting; 6. Teacher Education and Training; 7. Learning Strategy. Editorial Team invites academics, lecturers and researchers to contribute according to the scope above. Articles can be submitted online, by registering as a author (Online Submissions). Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Peer Review Processes. This journal is an open access journal which means that all freely available content is used. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of parents in improving early childhood character education in learning activities at SDN 55/1 Sridadi. This research method uses a qualitative case study approach. The data collection technique used an interview with the homeroom teacher of class V. Observations in class V at SDN 55/1 Sridadi and study of documentation such as diaries, and work documented in the classroom. Technical analysis of data by selecting the data that is needed and discarding data that is not needed, then it is presented in a complete and well explained, and concluded and verified the data. The results of this study indicate the role of parents in improving children's character education through learning strategies and methods. At SDN 55/1 Sridadi together with parents and teachers must work together and communicate with each other through diaries or meet directly regarding child development.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe how the strategies that teachers can use to develop the practical value of the fifth principle of Pancasila in the thematic learning process for first grade students at SDN 121/I Muara Singoan. This study uses a qualitative research method where data is obtained from observation, interviews and documentation techniques sourced from teachers, students, principals and parents of students. Then the data were analyzed using the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion. This study has the result that the strategies that have been implemented include the PAIKEM strategy, cooperative learning and inquiry, and various lectures to get students to always read, discuss. Other strategies used by teachers in instilling and developing the practical value of Pancasila, especially the principle of "Social Justice for All Indonesian People" in thematic learning in class I SDN 121/I Muara Singoan, namely: 1) Exemplary / examples prove that the teacher has become an example / good role model. good for students, especially in applying a family attitude, balance between rights and obligations, and working hard. 2) Spontaneous activities such as asking for donations to visit sick friends in order to instill a social care attitude. 3). The reprimand strategy is carried out to remind students who violate Pancasila values and school rules, then carry out personal coaching and do not corner students. 4) The strategy through environmental conditioning can also be seen from the availability of infrastructure that supports the implementation of the Pancasila values attitude. 5). The strategy through routine activities is the integration of Pancasila attitudes in learning tools such as lesson plans, starting from the use of learning strategies and techniques that are routinely carried out every day in the thematic learning process.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the process of learning mathematics on geometry material is easy to understand, enjoy, and does not make students feel bored with the material so that it can lead students to academic achievement at national and international levels. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, and obstacles in learning mathematics with geometry material. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are semi-structured interviews, non-participating observations, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were lecturers of geometry experts, school principals, fifth grade mathematics teachers, and fifth grade students. The results showed that the planning, implementation, and evaluation of mathematics learning for class V gemoteri materials went well, coherently, pleasantly and without obstacles. meaning for both teachers and students.

Abstract

The use of puzzle media can increase students' learning motivation. With this puzzle media, students are more enthusiastic to learn in class. This research was conducted in the third grade of SD Negeri126 /II Tanjung Agung This study aims (1) to describe how the use of puzzle media in motivating student learning, (2) to describe the obstacles faced by teachers in using puzzle media to motivate student learning in Theme 6 subtheme 2 Learning 2nd grade III SD Negeri 126 /II Tanjung Agung. The research subjects were all thirdgrade students of SD Negeri 126 /II Tanjung Agung, totaling 32 students, 13 male students and 19 female students. The data obtained were then processed using qualitative methods with descriptive research types. So that the results can be seen from the learning motivation of each student. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation and interviews, then the data was narrated. From a series of research processes carried out and the results of observations indicate that the teacher provides direction or encouragement to students during the teaching and learning process. The teacher also gives praise and gifts to students who are active in the class. Based on the results of the interviews, it was found that the teacher did not experience problems during the puzzle preparation process carried out by students, because students were very excited when preparing puzzles and the class atmosphere became active so that students were very motivated by the teacher using this puzzle media when the teaching and learning process took place in the classroom. There are some students who have not been motivated by using puzzle media in the teaching and learning process in this lesson, so that the teaching and learning process runs smoothly because students who are not motivated do not disturb their friends who are studying.

Abstract

In financial management educational institutions, it is very important to know what the school needs. With clear and appropriate finances, it will affect the school's operations and education at the school. The purpose of this article is to find out how to manage finances in TK Negeri Pembina 2 Bantan. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the analysis show that financial management at TK Negeri Pembina 2 Bantan is carried out by planning for the management of BOS funds in 2021-2022 starting with the preparation of the RKAS and the preparation of the RAB as well as the implementation of the use and finally bookkeeping. The realization of BOS fund management has complied with the principles referred to in Government Regulation no. 48 of 2008 article 59.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, utilization, and maintenance of instructional media in SDN 62/III Mukai Mudik. The research is a qualitative research design with phenomenology. Sources in the research is the principal and teachers at SDN 62/III Mukai Mudik. Data collection technique were interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of data using an interactive model. This study has three outcomes: (1) Planning the learning media is an inventory of types of instructional media, relevancing teaching media to teaching materials, confirming media with other teachers or friends of the group, preparing a book support package from the government, and pour the planned use of the media in the learning device; (2) The use of instructional media is able to show a medium of learning makes the students more easily understand the teaching materials, instructional media were able to show increasing curiosity about the new sciences, capable of showing the learning media help teachers explain the learning material, and be able to demonstrate learning media reduces verbal learning theory; (3) Maintenance of instructional media is keeping the medium of learning material or objects in special cabinets, learning media in the form of a file stored on the computer, non-academic learning media such as marching band and tambourine are stored in a special room, and the media is damaged beyond repair maintenance direct teachers or experts.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out whether educational game tools are effective for early childhood cognitive development. This research is library research, namely research that uses library data collection methods, or research whose objects are extracted from various library information (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, and documents). The effectiveness of the Educational Game Tool (APE) is quite effective on Early Childhood Cognitive Development. There are several educational game tools, both modern and traditional that are useful for improving children's cognitive development, including 1) Role playing, 2) Congklak, 3) Playing Legos, 4) Puzzles. It can be said that through some educational game tools it is effective to improve children's cognitive development such as puzzle games, congklak, and so on, while some educational games are not effective to improve early childhood cognitive development.

Abstract

SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Karawang is one of the da'wah institutions that has one mission, namely instilling Islamic faith, sholilah worship and morality based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. With one of its goals to form students who are faithful and devoted, intelligent, and have noble character. Has a variety of excellent programs in which there is a moral development of students. This study aims to identify and describe the student morality development program as the implementation of character education at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Karawang. Using descriptive qualitative research methods by conducting direct observations and interviews with classroom teachers. The results showed that the student morality development program at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Karawang includes various activities that provide feedback as a form of habituation to noble actions in daily activities. The strategy that the teacher uses in implementing moral development is through two approaches, namely direct education and indirect education. The supporting factor for the running of the student's morality development activities is the collaboration between the student's guardian and the homeroom teacher. The inhibiting factor is due to the lack of awareness or desire of students in participating in these coaching activities. To overcome the obstacles that occur in the process of fostering student morality, teachers often give rewards in the form of stars to students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the problem-based learning model from planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis technique. Data were obtained using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis included three stages, namely the presentation of the data, and the drawing of conclusions. The results showed that at the UNP Laboratory Development Elementary School the implementation of the problem-based learning model was carried out by the 2013 curriculum. Planning is done with the teacher making lesson plans, and the implementation of learning is divided into three stages, namely preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The core activities are carried out according to the syntax of the problem-based learning model. Evaluation includes three aspects, namely the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the problem-based learning model is learning time and students who feel bored, while the supporting factors are the supporting facilities and infrastructure at the UNP Laboratory Development Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain and observe the results of applying Biology learning strategies to students' understanding through the media in the form of LKPD (Student Activity Sheet). The assessment process using an inquiry strategy is carried out using Quasi Experimental (students experiment naturally) in groups. The population object in the application of the inquiry strategy was all students of SMAN 4 Binjai grade 11 IPA 4 again 36 students with 6 research groups on plant growth and development materials. on the differences and comparisons of saplings and mature trees. Data collection techniques used plant samples found in the school environment and guided LKPd filling. by looking at the morphological characteristics of plants and analyzing the differences. The process of observing plants is carried out to see the achievement of students in understanding the material based on the stages of guided inquiry. Based on this students will be able to achieve the learning objectives. The results of the assessment are presented in tabular form to assess critical thinking skills and draw conclusions from the experiments carried out.
