The objective of this research was to find out whether or not the use of Google Docs improved the students? writing skill and to find out the students? interest in learning writing by using Google Docs. This research applied a quasi-experimental design with an experimental class and a control class. The procedure of collecting data involved administering a pre- test, treatments and a post- test. The sample consisted of 54 students who were chosenby using cluster random sampling. The instruments of this research were writing text and questionnaire. The result of the data analysis showed that the mean score of experimental class was higher than that of control class and the result of hypothesis testing using independent T-Testin SPSS 16showed that t value is greater than t table, so H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that the use of Google Docs significantly improves the students? writing skill and It also found that students were interested in learning writing by using Google Docs that is proved from their questionnaire result.

This study expected to find out the effectiveness of teaching pronunciation through jazz chants and the students? response toward the implementation of jazz chants method in teaching pronunciation at the eight grade of MTsN Parepare. The result of this research was expected to be useful information in the English teaching and learning process especially in the pronunciation teaching. This research applied pre-experimental method, with two group pre-test and post-test design. The samples of the research were consisted of 27 students from five classes taken from the population at the eight grade students of MTsN Parepare first semester in Academic Year 2018/2019.The result of the data analysis showed that the students? pronunciation abilitywas improved. It could be showed from the result of the t-obtained value (7.698) was higher than t-table value (1.706). Those indicated that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It meant that the students? pronunciationwas able increased by using jazz chants method. Besides that, the result of the questionnaire showed that most of the students agree and had a positive response in learning pronunciation by using jazz chants method. It could be showed from the result of the cumulative percentage on the fifteen items of the questionnaire was 89,28 (very strong), while the cumulative score that they got the questionnaire was 1808 (strongly agree). Based on the result of data analysis above, the researcher then concluded that the students? pronunciation ability was improved and it is effective to teaching pronunciation through jazz chants at the eight grade of MTsN Parepare.

The purpose of this research was to find out the implementing practice-rehearsal pairs strategy in improving students? speaking skills at the eight grade of MA DDI Kaballangang. The results of the research are useful for the teachers and the students because they will get a new strategy that is effective to be used in the English learning process especially in improving speaking. The subject of this research was XI IPA class which is consisted of 21 students. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling. The design in this research was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The researcher gave pre-test and post-test to know whether implementing practice-rehearsal pairs strategy can improve students? speaking skills or not. The result of this research was indicated that there was an improvement of the students? speaking skills. It was indicated by the students? mean scoreof post-test (65.10) was greater than pre-test (30). Even, for the level significant (p) 5% and df = 21, and the value of the table is 1.725, while the value of t-test is 3.45. It means that the t-test value is greater than t-table (3.45 ? 1.725). Thus, it can be concluded that the students? speaking skills are significantly better after getting the treatment. So, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

One of grammatical pattern of English that is important to be taught is imperative sentences. By having the knowledge about imperative sentences, students are supposed to be able to construct the sentences correctly. Although the students have learnt imperative sentences at school, most of them still find difficulties in understanding and using them. This study aimed at finding out whether using of traffic sign pictures able to improve the students? ability in constructing imperative sentence. This study was conducted at the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Tellu Limpoe kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang by using pre-experimental method with one group on pre-test and post-test design. This study was conducted in eight meeting which consist of one meeting for pre-test, six meeting for treatment, and one meeting for post-test. The data were gathered through quantitative data. The study found out the use of traffic sign pictures was able to improve the students? ability in constructing imperative sentence. This study also provides a set of recommendation to avoid the overlapped researches in English education.

The purpose of this research was positively to find out whether applying two stay two stray technique by using picture series to improve students? speaking skill at the second grade in MAN 2 Parepare. The results of this research, the benefit for the teacher and students. The teacher will be conscious that it is important to apply the technique in teaching. The students can enjoy the lesson so they can be easier to express their ideas and also confidence to speak by using the gesture.The subject of this research is XI MIA 1 class which is consisted of 27 students. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling. The design in this research was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The student did the pre-test, got the treatment and did the post-test. It aimed to know whether applying two stay two stray technique by using picture series can improve students? speaking skill.The result in this research was indicated that the improvement of the students? speaking skill. It was indicated by the students? mean scoreof post-test (72.26) was greater than pre-test (44.46). Even, for the level significant (p) 5% and df = 26, and the value of table is 1.706, while the value of t-test is 18.34. It means that the t-test value is greater than t-table (2.29 ? 1.706). Thus, it can be concluded that the students? speaking skill is significantly better after getting the treatment. So, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

This study was aimed to see the Improving Speaking Skill at SMA Negeri 3 Pinrang. The objective of this research is to get the empirical data of the differences between students? score of speaking test who were taught by using 5E learning cycle model and to know how 5E learning cycle model in teaching speaking. The research problem this study was ?can 5e learning cycle model improve the speaking skills?.The research method used in this research was pre-experimental with one group design. The data was collected through pretest and posttest. It aimed to know whether 5E learning cycle model in teaching speaking can improve students? speaking skill.The population of this research consist of 280 students and the sample of the research X IS 3 that consist of 35 students.The finding revealed that 5E learning cycle model able to imropve students? speaking skills; it can be seen from the students score pre-test and post-test. the mean score of the pre-test score of the class was 1.48 and the mean score of the post-test score in class was 1.98. It means that teaching-learning by using 5E learning cycle model can be improved students? speaking skills.

The aim of this research was to know the Students learning startegy and motivation in developing the students? speakin gability at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare).The researcher was applying at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare) through had escriptive qualitati veresearch. This research were using three kinds of instruments. The first instrument wastest, where the purpose of this instrument was to know the student tabilityin speaking. The second was interview, the aim of this instrument was to know what strategy that the student use to develop their speaking. The last was question naire, where this instrument was to know the motivation of the student in order to develop their speaking. After analyzing the data from the question naire the research erfound that students in the high andlow category have the same strong motivation in developing their speaking. However, interms of using strategy, the students in high category use more variated strategies than thelow category. The students in high category mostly apply cognitive and metacognitive strategy while the students in low cataegory mostly used social strategy.

This article investigates a pedagogical interference in promoting creativity in English classroom that describe the importance of creativity in learning process. The article explores the idea of passion-based learning in improving creativity in the classroom specially in English subject. By using secondary data both from journals, books, and internet sites, researcher is able to apply descriptive analysis through literary review methods. Promoting passion-based learning might be a possible way to improve creativity in English Classroom. Passion-based learning could be a solution that give ownership and authority to students to explore their own creativity in the classroom hence give them meaningful learning. Some tangible ways in this article could be applied by English teachers to create passion-based learning in English classroom that can improve the students? reading, listening, speaking and writing skill and creativity. The emerging challenge found in this study is passion-based learning is difficult to apply in large class since it gives freedom to students choose what they want to learn hence classroom activities will not be feasible to control. Besides, passion- based learning needs creative and skilful teachers to come up with various and interesting ideas to stimulate dynamic in classroom. Therefore, the quality of teacher is highly considered in applying passion-based learning. Teachers should be expert in subjects they teach. Promoting teacher professional development need to be considered to improve creativity in English classroom with given English teachers? opportunities to explore their potentials.

In studying English, the first component that has to learn is vocabulary. Someone who wants to master 4 language skills, he has to master a few words even everything. When learning listening, needs vocabulary, reading needs vocabulary, especially when learning to write, all needs vocabulary. That is the reason why the students have to master the vocabulary in learning English. This research was aimed to see the improvement of vocabulary mastery of students before and after learning process through blindfold game. The results of the research are useful for the teacher and students. The teacher should aware that it is important to supplied before teaching make the students more active in learning process. The researcher was conducted at MTs DDI Lil Banat Parepare, the sample of this research were the students of VIII.C class which is consisted 19 students. This research was used pre-test and post-test data. The result of this research showed that there was improving of students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on the analysis, the researcher found that Blindfold game is able to improve the vocabulary mastery. The students’ vocabulary mastery was improved significantly by mean score of the pre-test was 46.05 and the mean score of posttests was 78.57, they showed that the mean score in post-test was better that the mean score in pre-test. Thus, alternative hypothesis ( ) stating that Blindfold game could improve the students’ vocabulary mastery and could make the classroom be active.

Intensive speaking is drills or repetitions focusing on specific phonological or grammatical points, such as minimal pairs or repetition of a series of imperative sentences, where learners are going over to practice some phonological or grammatical aspect of language. Cooperative script learning model is a learning where students work in pairs and take turns verbally summarizing the parts of the material being studied.The purpose of this research was to know the difference students’ intensive speaking skill before and after using cooperative script learning model atSMK DDI Parepare.The samples of this research were 23 students from XI TKJ (Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan) class and XI PMR (Bisnis Daring danPemasaran) class. The researcher used cluster sampling technique to decide the sample.The researcher used pre-experimental design in one group was given pre-test, treatment and post-test design.To collect the data, the researcher used tests that are pre-test and post-test. The researcher also gave observation.The result in this research was indicated that there was the improvement of the students’ intensive speaking skill. It was indicated by the students’ mean score of post-test (7) was greater than pre-test (5.5). Even, for the level significant (p) 5 % and df = 21, and the value of table is 1.721, while the value of t-test is 12.5. It means that the t-test value is greater than t-table (12.5 1.721). Thus, it can be concluded that the students’ intensive speaking skill is significant better after getting the treatment. So, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected.
