Abstract

This research aims to explain the influences of logo shape, logo color, typography and service quality towards brand image on PT. Gojek Indonesia. There are four independent variables, those are logo shape. Logo color, typography and service quality that researcher wanted to know how much those variables influence on the image of Gojek as a dependent variable. This research used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The population of the research as a media. The samples in this research were 115 respondents. This research examines the hypothesis by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that typography and service quality have a positive and significant effect on brand image. Meanwhile, logo shape and logo color does not have a significant effect on brand image. Service quality as a dominant variables that influence the brand image.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pengaruh profitabilitas, strktur aktiva, dan Good Corporate Governance terhadap struktur modal dan return saham. Populasi dalam penelitian ini perusahaan Syariah yang tergabung dalam Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) selama periode 2015-2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 61 perusahaan. Analisis untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari variabel independent terhadap variabel dependen atau melalui variabel interveningnya. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan program Eviews. Hasil penelitian secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, struktur aktiva mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, good corporate governance tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap struktur modal, dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham dan struktur modal tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh profitabilitas dan struktur aktiva dan GCG terhadap return saham.

Abstract

This research employs the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) paradigm to analyze the structure, conduct, and performance of cocoa industry in Indonesia during 2012-2014 period. Concentration ratio of the four largest companies (CR4) and minimum efficiency of scale (MES) is used as an indicator of market structure of the cocoa industry. The conduct of cocoa industry is explained by capital-labor ratio (CLR). While the performance of cocoa industry is seen from price-cost margin (PCM), internal efficiency (XEF) and output growth (Growth). This research uses panel data to see the effect of market share (MS), capital-labor ratio, internal efficiency, and output growth on price-cost margin. The results of this research shows that the structure of cocoa industry in Indonesia is very high tight oligopoly, with a high entry barrier. This is seen from the value of CR4 and MES which are bigger than 60 percent each year. Furthermore, cocoa industry can be classified as capital intensive industry. This is seen from the high value of CLR. Based of the regression results using random effect model (REM), market share has a negative significant effect on the price cost margin. While capital-labor ratio, internal efficiency, and output growth have a positive significant effect on the price-cost margin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate governance mechanisms on firm performance. The sample used in this study were companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2016 to 2019. The number of samples used in this study was 100 samples. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The research data was obtained from the company’s annual report. This study uses multiple regression analysis method which operated through data processing program IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results of this study showed that the proportion of independent commissioner, audit committee, and institutional ownership had a positive and significant effect on Adjusted Tobin’s Q. Meanwhile, size of board of directors and managerial ownership found to had no effect on Adjusted Tobin’s Q. Firm size and firm age as control variables found to had a positive effect on Adjusted Tobin’s Q, while leverage found to had no effect on Adjusted Tobin’s Q.

Abstract

The village is a residential area where most of the population makes a living in agriculture. Most of Indonesia's population are residents who live in rural areas. The village government can use village funds as a source of financing for village household needs in order to improve the welfare of the village community. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of village fund management on the welfare of village communities in Kedungringin Village, Suruh District, Semarang Regency. Data collection methods used are through observation and literature study, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis methods. The results of the study were the management of village funds based on indicators of goal achievement, timeliness, benefits, and results in accordance with community expectations. As well as village funds also play a role in developing the economy of the village community so that it can improve the welfare of the village community through the existence of development and community empowerment programs.

Abstract

The problem that occurs is a decrease in market share over the past four years and a decline in sales of Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycles indicates a decrease in the results of the decision to purchase a Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycle. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of price perceptions, quality perceptions and promotions on Kawasaki Ninja purchasing decisions 250. The population selected in this study were all Diponegoro University students. The number of samples used in this study were 73 Diponegoro University students who were still active and had purchased Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycles. The sampling technique in this study was the purposive sampling method. Data collection method is to use a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. Based on research, price perceptions, quality perceptions and promotions have a positive effect on purchasing decisions of the Kawasaki Ninja 250. Variations in employee performance can be explained by independent variables namely price perception, quality perception and promotion by 62.7%

Abstract

Central Sulawesi Province consists of 13 districts/cities with varying levels of poverty. The numbers fluctuate in the period of time of 2013 to 2020 were classified as high because they were ranked 2nd (second) compared to other provinces on the island of Sulawesi. The low quality of human capital is one of the main causes of poverty, to see the achievement of human capital investment, the education dimension is represented by the average length of schooling, the expected length of schooling, and the health dimension is represented by life expectancy, which is a measure in efforts to build the quality of human life showing an increase consistently. Increasing the quality of human capital is expected to improve the productivity of the poor. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Average Length of Schooling, Expected Length of Schooling, and Life Expectancy on poverty levels in Central Sulawesi Province. This was a quantitative research. Data used was secondary data out of 13 districts/cities in Central Sulawesi Province for the period of 2013–2020. The data was analyzed using panel data analysis with a random effect regression model. The results show that the Average Length of Schooling variable has a positive effect and is proven to increase poverty, Expected Length of Schooling has a negative effect and is proven to reduce poverty, Life Expectancy has a negative effect and is not proven to reduce poverty, Life Expectancy2 has a positive effect and is not proven to increase poverty in Central Sulawesi Province for the 2013-2020 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the five hypotheses proposed including the effect of perceived suitability on perceived usefulness, the effect of perceived suitability on perceived ease of use, the effect of perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness, the effect of perceived usefulness on intention to use and the effect of perceived ease of use on intention to use. The population in this study were students of AKI University in Semarang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of samples represented 94 respondents. The data collected were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach and processed with the AMOS program. The result of the hypothesis shows the influence of perceived compatibility toward perceived usefulness is positively, the influence of perceived compatibility toward perceived ease of use is positively, the influence of perceived ease of use toward perceived usefulness is positively, the influence of perceived usefulness toward intention to use is is positively, and also the influence of perceived ease of use toward intention to use is positively. The results of this study prove that intention to use Mobile Banking is influenced by the perception of usefulness and the perception of ease of use which is influenced by the perceived suitability factor.

Abstract

This increase in freight forwarding and delivery service activities has made business actors interested in opening their own freight forwarding and delivery services which eventually became known as new entrants, namely creating a business similar to the current conditions and one of them is PT Alisha Transindo Utama. The purpose of this study is to obtain a competitive strategy so that the company remains superior and survives in a tight and competitive business competition and can anticipate various kinds of changes that may occur in the future using the Balanced Scorecard method. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a case study design at PT Alisha Transindo Utama directly where researchers interviewed informants from company management and collected company data related to 4 perspectives, namely financial, customer, internal business processes and learning and growth. The results obtained from this study are to produce strategic targets for PT Alisha Transindo Utama with the financial perspective as the first priority, the internal business process perspective as the second priority, the learning and growth perspective as the third priority and the customer perspective as the last priority.

Abstract

Deciding the investment scale of a company's Research & Development is a strategic investment decision related to creating long-term value of the company and it is a very important decision because it has a certain level of risk and the cost is not small. Corporate governance of a company differs according to the ownership structure of each company, and corporate governance will affect the company's decision-making. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporate governance structure, namely major shareholder, institutional investor, and outside directors to investment research & development at a pharmaceutical company listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2010 to 2017. The population of this study is a pharmaceutical company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of pharmaceutical companies listed during the period 2010 to 2017 is as many as 11 companies. By using purposive sampling, obtained a sample of 5 companies. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that major shareholders have a positive significant influence on research & development investment. Meanwhile, the institutional investor has a positively significant influence on research & development investment. And the outside directors have an insignificant negative effect on investment & development investment.
