Abstract

Pain Labor is a physiological and individual experience. The cause of pain in labor is a combination of ischemia (hypoxia) the muscles of the uterus and stretching that occurs in the lower segment of the uterus (then the cervix). The data were analyzed using the Paired T-test to compare the results of the pre-test and post-test, and to compare intervention and control groups use Independent T-Test. Based on statistical tests obtained all p values <0.05 means that there is a significant difference between pain labor in the control and intervention group, so it can be interpreted that pain scale in intervention group is lower than control group. Abstract

Dogs are animals that have high popularity as pets in the global community. Indonesia is no exception, but people still do not understand the responsibility for caring dogs as pets. This has an impact on the dog's assumption only as a comforter without thinking about the importance of their needs and care. Because there is a considerable comparison between the level of dog popularity and the sense of responsibility for caring dogs as pets, a place is needed to harmonize the gap. The Dog Care Center is needed to educate the public and provide facilities for dog needs and care, with the theme of Natural Living design that takes the concept of Harmony in the design of the interior. The choice of harmony concept has an emphasis on the design of space, material and color that can give the impression of openness without the separation between human and dog in it. Index Terms— dog, care, center, harmony.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe political discourse that has a link with gender on outdoor media campaigns. The media of outdoor campaigns is the most effective public space to be able to convey various matters relating to a candidate for both a leader and a member of parliament especially if it is associated with gender which is still a major problem in Indonesia. Gender in Indonesian politics is still unbalanced considering not yet optimal and balance the contribution between men and women in politics world. It was a major concern on outdoor media campaign of a number of female candidates in the 2014 legislative election. Sources of data from this paper are taken from areas - Badung, Jembrana, Klungkung, and Denpasar. Method of data collection was done by way of recording by photographing media outdoor campaign containing information related to gender. Furthermore qualitative descriptive method became an option to describe the data - research data related to discourse theory and gender theory in the use of language. Result of the analysis showed that gender is one of the election discourses of the candidates of the people's representatives, especially the women to get the vote and sympathy. For that reason, the projection of the use of gender terms, equality of rights, and struggle with men is the primary choice to demonstrate the struggle for gender equality. Variations of use are also seen but by maintaining the gender side of women as parties who are fighting for their rights. Index Terms— gender, campaign, politic, discourse.

Abstract

The city of Mojokerto still has buildings that use elements of its local architecture. In the city which is also called the c ity of Majapahit, historical heritage influences contemporary architecture. Many public and commercial facility buildings use local elements, both in the appearance of buildings, zoning, and ornaments. The aim is to provide identity to the building. One of the efforts of the city government that has not yet been compiled is to rearrange the area or building area in terms of its revitalization. One of them is the Prapanca Market or also called the Flea Market. Commodities offered by this mar- ket are used goods that are not suitable to be returned to the market as a whole. The purpose of this design is to in- crease the vitality of this market through the use of local elements in the appearance of buildings. Revitalization is done by developing functions, zoning, and facilities. Local architectural elements are applied to the roof and body of the build- ing, as well as the entrance.
