Abstract

This paper aims to describe the importance of understanding the role of the Holy Spirit wider, especially in Christian education learning. Wearing a descriptive-analytic method, the author describes the role of the Holy Spirit as the subject matter in Christian Education learning. Results: 1) The Holy Spirit is the Triune God, He is actively present as a subject and as an object that is learned in the learning of Christian Education, it was recognized by the Lord Jesus, the apostles, and fathers, as well as the practitioners of Christian education; 2) The Holy Spirit inhabit Christian teachers and learners to form human beings who have spiritual strength, self-control, the maturation of personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills that are needed.

Abstract

The article reconsiders the Eastern Christian concept of the Primacy or the Monarchy of God the Father, which has often been deemed as irrelevant and destructive in many modern Trinitarian reflections. For some modern Trinitarian theologians, the hierarchical notion that comes from the idea of the Primacy of God the Father is in complete opposition with the concept of perichoresis, which subvert any forms of hierarchy. Using St. Gregory of Nazianzus’ Theological Oration, the author, however, maintains that the Primacy of God the Father should be preserved, precisely because it provides the foundation for the divine perichoresis to be consistent with Christian monotheistic affirmation.

Abstract

Indeed Islam is a transnational religion. This understanding of transnational nature is based on the nature of a missionary Islam. The desire to convert people outside of Islam is a duty to Muslims or so called da'wa. Problems arise when the transnational Islamic movement changes and is understood as a political movement to unite Muslims in one territory or one country. The unity of Muslims under the umbrella of one country or called the islamiyya caliphate becomes the ambition of the transnational Islamic movement. The goal of re-establishing the Islamic Caliphate was a way to restore the glory of Islam which is currently being oppressed by the West.

Abstract

Permasalahan tekstual yang terdapat pada Markan Ending tidak memengaruhi kaum Pentakostal dalam kesetiaannya terhadap teks ini. Kelompok Pentakostal merupakan komunitas yang karakter gerejanya lekat dengan karunia Roh. Markan Ending telah menjadi bagian dari Kitab Suci yang demikian melekat pada Pentakostalisme. Sejarah menunjukkan bahwa persebaran dua Markan Ending yaitu Abrupt Ending dan Long Ending terjadi secara natural dan diterima baik oleh banyak kelompok gereja. Historitas kedua Markan Ending yang telah ada sejak masa awal gereja menjadi bukti bahwa teks ini tidak saling berkonfrontasi. Melalui Pentecostal Reading maka terbuka cara yang fair dalam melihat kedua penutup Injil Markus ini sebagai bagian sakral Kitab Suci yang tak terpisahkan. Kisah Para Rasul 2 yang menjadi ideologi dasar Pentakostalisme menjadi penghubung dengan bagian lain dari teks Kitab Suci guna mengungkap relevansi dogmatis dari ajaran yang terdapat dalam Markan Ending.

Abstract

Catechism is a forum for fostering and educating young people so that they can profess their faith before God and be witnessed by the Lord's congregation during the session. The catechism was designed for at least two years, one year to study the Bible and one year to outline the main points of the church's beliefs and the demands of Christian life in this world. The problem that occurs in the GMIT Sonhonis Oelbubuk is that the level of youth understanding of the teaching of catechism given by the instructor is very lacking. This study aims to find the level of youth understanding about catechism in the Church. The method used in this study is a survey technique with a quantitative approach. The population and sample are youth in the GMIT Sonhonis Oelbubuk. The results showed that the level of understanding of youth in the GMIT Sonhonis Oelbubuk about catechism was 79.53%, the results were included in the quite high category.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan sebuah penelitian pustaka yang memaparkan konsep spritualitas pernikahan dalam pandangan dan pengajaran Kristen. Untuk memaparkan hal tersebut, penulis menyajikan pelbagai informasi dari sumber primer dan sekunder terkait topik penelitian yang selanjutnya dipaparkan secara deskriptif. Dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan, spritualitas pernikahan Kristen penting dan mendesak untuk dibangun dan dikembangkan oleh keluarga Kristen agar mampu menghadapi dan menyikapi pelbagai tantangan / konflik di tengah keluarga. Ada nilai-nilai spritualitas Kristen yang harus ada dalam kehidupan pernikahan antara lain; pernikahan adalah sebuah kesatuan, pernikahan adalah sebuah perjanjian, pernikahan adalah kedaulatan Allah dalam penciptaan-Nya, pernikahan adalah hubungan kasih dan pernikahan adalah anugerah Allah dengan asas monogami. Salah satu pemutus hubungan dalam pernikahan adalah perceraian. Perceraian dapat terjadi apabila keluarga Kristen tidak memahami dan menghidupi spritualitas dalam pernikahannya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menganalisis strategi pengembangan tes objektif. Studi ini merupakan generalisasi dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu yang membahas mengenai strategi pengembangan tes objektif. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu dikumpulkan melalui pencarian di Google Scholar, Sage, dan Elsevier. Hasil-hasil penelitian yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan Teknik meta analisis yang dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil studi menunjukkan adanya strategi tertentu yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengembangkan tes objektif. Strategi tersebut adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Analisis karakteristik materi yang akan diteskan; (2) Pengembangan distractor; (3) Mengatur format jawaban; (4) Melakukan review instrumen; (5) Uji coba pengetesan; (6) Analisis butir soal; (7) Membandingkan hasil pengetesan dengan hasil dari instrumen bentuk lain. Berdasarkan hasil studi ini, maka disarankan kepada guru atau pengembang instrumen untuk menggunakan tujuh langkah tersebut sebagai strategi untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes objektif.

Abstract

The family is the oldest institution in the world since God created the heavens and the earth. The family is an extension of the kingdom of God. Every family must walk in the divine order. God's order for the family and its description can be found in the book of Ephesians. This study aims to determine the application of the principles of the kingdom of God in families in the congregation GBI ROCK Denpasar City Satellite The research method used in this study is qualitative, the sample data source in this study is family -family who congregates in GBI ROCK satellite Kota of Denpasar. The sample data source in this study was selected purposively and snowball sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. Data analysis is performed interactively through a process of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that the principles of the kingdom of God were applied in the GBI ROCK congregation family of the satellite Kota of Denpasar

Abstract

Pemahaman Aktivis GBI Kapten Tendean Tentang Perlengkapan Rohani Orang Percaya Berdasarkan Teks Efesus 6 :10-18.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengeksegese teks Efesus 6:10-18 untuk mendapatkan maknanya guna dijadikan landasan teologis dalam menemukan sejauh mana pemahaman aktifis/pelayan tentang perlengkapan rohani orang percaya. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan mengeksegese Efesus 6:10-18 serta menerapkannya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman aktifis/pelayan melalui survey menggunakan alat bantu Google Form. Hasil penelitiannya adalah : aktivis Tuhan di GBI Kapten Tendeaan belum seluruhnya memahami dengan benar makna dari perlengkapan rohani orang percaya dengan baik dan benar. Sebagian dari mereka tidak menerapkan makna perlengkapan rohani orang percaya dalam keseharian kehidupan mereka. Rekomendasi: Gereja perlu memperbanyak pertemuan doa di tengah minggu dan aktivis telah memahami tentang pentingnya penginjilan oleh karena itu perlu diadakan praktek-praktek penginjilan yang
