Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out whether the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes in the field of study Social Science class V SDN Sukabakti Subang Regency; (2) to describe the steps of applying the method of discussion in improving student learning outcomes in the field of Social Science study of students of grade V SDN Sukabakti Subang Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), using Suaharsimi Arikunto design. Subjects in this study are the students of grade V SDN Sukabakti Subang Regency which amounted to 27 students. Technique of collecting test data, observation observation, field note, and dokuentasi.tes are used to collect student's cognitive learning data, while observation sheet is used to obtain learning result of afectic aspect, psychomotor, and teacher activity in learning process of Social Science using discussion method. Quantitative decryption analysis techniques to calculate the data of cognitive learning outcomes and qualitative dekristif analysis to mengisisisis data observation results. The results showed that the application of the method of discussion in the field of Social Science study of students in grade V SDN Sukabakti Subang Regency. Based on test results obtained by students at each end of the cycle showed an increase in Social Science learning outcomes. Percentage of completeness on pratindakan by 19%, cycle I by 63% and cycle II by 93%. The process shows that the quality of the learning process becomes increasing, the students look more active, critical, and communicative and susana learning more fun and conducive. In the application of the method of discussion the teacher needs to pay attention to the following matters: (1) to examine the preparations that are deemed to affect the smoothness of the discussion, (2) provide guidance before discussion, (3) implement the rules of discussion according to the rules of the game, 4) Giving equal opportunity to every discussion participant to issue his ideas or ideas, (5) controlling the issue to the subject being discussed, (6) creating a relaxed, fun but controlled learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes through learning Social Scienceby applying the model of Problem Based Learning. This research is motivated by the problems that occur in the classroom, namely the lack of motivation and student learning outcomes. The design of this study used a classroom action research model consisting of three cycles, each cycle conducted in two meetings, including the planning stage, action implementation, interview observation, documentation, analysis and reflection. The results showed that through the application of Probem Based Learning model can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of students with Social Sciencelearning on the material of the historical relics of the Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia. This can be seen from the results of observation and analysis which shows that the assessment of RPP cycle I reached the percentage of 67.5% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 77.5% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. Implementation of learning in the first cycle reached the percentage of 62.9% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 77.5% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. While the results of students' learning motivation cycle I reached the percentage of 65% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 75.7% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 88% very good category. Similarly, the results of student learning that meets the value of KKM in cycle I reached the percentage of 59% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 73% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. Classroom action research ends in cycle III because the aspects studied are considered to have succeeded in achieving the indicator of achievement determined. This is because the model of Problem Based Learning is the appropriate learning resources for student development in Social Sciencelearning related to daily life. Based on the above description, it can be concluded that the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the motivation and student learning outcomes with Social Sciencelearning on the material of the historical relics of the Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of listening ability in grade V students in Lengkong State Elementary School using audio media. The type of research used is a case study with Classroom Action Research (collaborative Classroom Action). The form of collaborative classroom action research with colleagues as observers. The subject of this research is the students of grade V of State Elementary School Lengkong which amounted to 18 people. The object of this research is the ability to listen to folklore. The research design used was Kemmis and Mc.Taggart. Data collection methods used in this study are: 1) test, 2) observation, and 3) field notes. Data analysis technique is done descriptively qualitative. The results showed that learning to listen to folklore using audio media can improve the ability of listening to folklore. Based on the results of the pretest cycle 1 students on average get the score of listening ability to students in the first cycle, the students get an average score of 50, then on cycle II score The average class increased to 87.5, this shows there is an increase in listening ability in grade V students on the material Responding to events that occur around orally.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by using model Cooperative Learning type Mind Mapping on the theme of togetherness togetherness subtema in Diversity. This research was conducted in the class IV D SDN Komplek Karang Taruna Sari and background of the students who showed less result of study which still low and many criteria of minimal mastery because teacher often use lecture motto which tend to monoton and not yet using model Cooperative Learning Type Mind Mapping which consist of 5 Phases of conveying goals and motivating students, presenting information, organizing students into study groups, guiding study and work groups, and evaluating. Assessment used in this research is Pretest and Posttest test technique to know student learning result of cognitive assessment, attitude assessment, making mind mapping and observation sheet to know teacher and student attitudes during learning process. The results showed an increase in the average of the assessment of learning outcomes. On the cognitive assessment of the average value of cycle I is 69 while the second cycle reached 72.5 and the third cycle reached 74, on the affective assessment of the average value of cycle I is 61 while the second cycle reached 63 and the third cycle reached 74. This shows that the use of model Cooperative Learning Type Mind Mapping can improve student learning outcomes on the theme of togetherness kebersamaa subtema in the diversity of class IV D SDN Komplek Karang Taruna Sari. Thus, the use of Cooperative Learning type Mind Mapping model can be used as one of the learning models to be applied to thematic learning with other themes and subthemes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' activity and learning outcomes by using Cooperative Learning model of Team Accelerated Intruction (TAI) type on the theme of the togetherness of my nation's cultural diversity subtema. This research is conducted in class IV SDN Komplek Karang Taruna Sari and background of student condition which show less activity in group process and result of learning which still many criteria of minimal mastery because teacher often use lecture motto which tend monoton and not yet use model Cooperative Learning Type Team Accelerated Intruction (TAI) consists of 8 phases: pretest, brief material, heterogeneous small group, group work group, presentation of group work, posttest, best group setting, and formative test. Assessment used in this research is pretest and posttest test technique to know student learning result, activeness assessment and observation sheet to know teacher and student attitudes during learning process. The results showed an increase in the average of the assessment of liveliness and learning test results. On the assessment of the activity of the average value of cycle 1 is 57.73 while cycle 2 reaches 67.31 and 3 cycles reaches 82.01 Learning outcomes in cycle 1 average score of 65.66, in cycle 2 reaches 70.16 and Learning outcomes in cycle 3 reached 76.33. This shows that the use of Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Accelerated Intruction (TAI) can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students on the theme of togetherness subtema cultural diversity of my nation class IV SDN Komplek Karang Taruna Sari. Thus, the use of Cooperative Learning model of Team Accelerated Intruction (TAI) type can be used as a learning model to be applied to thematic learning with other themes and subthemes.

Abstract

Application of Experimental Methods to Increase Understanding of the Concept of Grade IV Primary School Students in Science Lesson. The purpose of this study is to describe data on: (1) student activity in science learning by applying experimental method; (2) improvement of understanding of science concept by applying experiment method. The method used in this research is a classroom action research with Kemmis n Mc design. Taggart. This research was conducted in the odd semester of academic year 2017/2018 at SD Negeri Wirukencana in grade 4 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, test and documentation. Based on the processing and data analysis, the results of this study are: (1) Student activity at the time of learning using experimental method that is in the first stage students pay attention to the initial experiments conducted by the teacher as evidenced by answering questions asked by teachers around the experiment. Then at the observation stage all the students recorded things that happened while observing the experiments performed by the teacher. The third stage of the students make a hypothesis according to the conceptual observation based on observation. Furthermore, in the verification stage students conduct experiments that refer to the LKS in a group way, the students divide each task on each member of the group such as the task as chairman of the group, secretary, moderator and other tasks in the experiment. After the students complete the experiment each group discuss or present the results of his group's observations in front of the class. The fifth stage is the application of concepts, the students are able to give examples of the alteration of changes in the form of things in everyday life; and (2) The application of experimental methods in general can increase the understanding of the concept of fourth grade students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes by using the model of Discovery Learning on the theme of objects in the environment around the subtema of the form of objects and characteristics. . This research was conducted in class V SDN Rancasawo 01 and the background of students who showed less activity in the learning process and the result of learning that still have not reached the minimum mastery criteria, this is because teachers often use lecture methods that tend to monoton and have not used the model of Discovery Learning. Assessment used in this research is pretest and post test technique to know student learning result, activity assessment and observation sheet to know teacher and student attitudes during learning process. The results showed an increase in the mean of the activity assessment and the results of the learning test. In the activity assessment the average value of cycle 1 is 58.57, while cycle 2 reaches 80% and cycle 3 reaches 90%. The learning outcomes in cycle 1 average value that is equal to 54,61%, in cycle 2 reach 80,38% and result learn at cycle 3 reach 91,79%. This shows that the use of discovery learning model can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students on the theme of objects in the surroundings around the subtheme of objects and the characteristics of class V SDN Rancasawo 01. Thus, the use of the model of Discovery Learning can be used as one of the learning models to be applied to Thematic learning with other themes and subthemes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between instructional model Inquiry Learning and Direct Instruction to critical thinking skills of Junior High School children in accordance with gender differences between men and women. The method used in this research is to use the experimental method using a quantitative approach with the type of case study. In this study, the measurement tool is a questionnaire that the author quotes from the questionnaire Bambang Abduljabar. The results of this study are: Inquiry learning model in learning pemas can improve students' critical thinking skills without feared will be influenced by sex differences in students. The more student-centered learning of lead will contribute positively to the students' cognitive development, even giving the student a pleasurable learning experience.

Abstract

This research is based on the low understanding of the concept of Mathematics students in learning Mathematics material of multiplication operation in SD Negeri Nugraha Pelita. The problem is caused by the learning process that is still using conventional methods. This makes learning tends to be boring and students find it difficult to understand the learning materials that have been delivered, so that the impact of student understanding is likely to be low. Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model is very effective to be used as solution to solve the learning problem that happened during this time. The method used in this research is PTK method (Classroom Action Research). The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Nugraha Pelita in the academic year 2017/2018 with the number of 33 people. Based on the results of learning and research analysis it can be concluded that the model of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve students' learning comprehension on Mathematics subjects of multiply counting operations in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Nugraha Pelita.

Abstract

The research entitled The Influence of Coaching And Discipline of Teacher Exercise on Vitar Ball Extracurricular Development is aimed to find out whether there is an influence between "Development and discipline of Sports Teachers towards Vocational Ball Extracurricular Development in SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangor Sumedang Regency." The research conducted is quantitative research. The sample used amounted to 30 people. Determination of sample using random sampling technique. Prior to data analysis, normality and homogeneity tests were first conducted to determine whether the data showed normal and homogeneous. Data analysis technique used is f-test. From the calculation of regression analysis X1 and X2 to Y in the regression coefficient value of Fcount = 6.37> Ftable = 4.21 can be concluded that H0 rejected and Ha accepted, thus in penelitin conducted there is a significant influence between Development and Teacher Discipline against Development of Extracurricular Voly Ball at SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangaor Sumedang District.
