Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in increasing student activeness and learning outcomes. This study uses action research methods carried out in two cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The subjects of the study were students of grade VII-D MTs Negeri 9 Gunungkidul for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of research in cycle I and cycle II showed an increase in activeness from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with the achievement of assessment results on student learning outcomes in cycle I obtaining an average score of 54.76 with less criteria and completeness of 42.9% increased quite significantly in cycle II obtaining an average score of 68.10 with sufficient criteria and completeness of 78.6%. The problem-based learning model can be applied to social studies learning for students in grade VII.

Abstract

This study aims to increase learning motivation and learning outcomes of students using a think pair square type cooperative learning model. This study is a class action research conducted in two cycles. The results showed that in the first cycle learning results were obtained with an average of 60, while the average percentage of learning motivation of 61.01% increased quite significantly in the second cycle with the acquisition of an average learning outcome value of 75 and the percentage of student learning motivation of 75.04%. It can be concluded that learning carried out with the think pair square type cooperative learning model can increase learning motivation and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to expose the ability of teachers in compiling teaching modules through training activities. This study used action research methods developed by Kemis and Taggart. Each cycle includes activities, namely action plans, action execution, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were teachers who were members of the Catholic Teachers Working Group in Kulon Progo. The results showed that there was an increase in teachers' professional competence in preparing lesson plans. In the first cycle, the average score obtained was 59.55% in the sufficient category, increasing to 91.27% in the second cycle with the very good category. Training activities can improve the competence of teachers of the Kulon Progo Catholic Teacher Working Group in compiling teaching modules.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying a discovery learning model. This study used the Action research method with two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of Class A Semester 2 of MTs Negeri 4 Gunungkidul SKS Service for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of research in cycle I and cycle II showed an increase in student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the results of student attitude observations obtained an average score of 2.63 with completeness of 59.37%, increasing to 2.77 with completeness of 75% in cycle II. The results of observing students' skills obtained an average score of 65.93 with a completeness of 43.75% in cycle I, increasing to 70.2 with completeness of 75% in cycle II. The results of knowledge observation obtained an average value of 60 with a completeness of 43.8% in cycle I, increasing to 66.3 with completeness of 52.3% in cycle II. Based on data from observations of attitudes, skills, and knowledge assessments, it can be concluded that the results of science learning for grade A students in Semester 2 MTs Negeri 4 Gunungkidul SKS Services through the application of the discovery learning learning model have increased significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of the PPDB Mandiri Online Application in providing services to the community during the admission period of new students at MTs Negeri 4 Gunungkidul. This research uses an exploratory case study method with a qualitative approach used to obtain information on PPDB Online constraints and solutions to the development of PPDB applications. The results showed that there were several online independent PPDB application developments carried out at MTs Negeri 4 Gunungkidul, namely observation of conventional PPDB, studying the flow that can be used as digital to make it easier for prospective students to collect files and monitoring the status of registrants. Next add report card scores, achievement certificate scores and rankings. This is to bridge the obstacles experienced by prospective students in the registration process. The use of the PPDB Mandiri Online application can make it easier for students and teacher staff to know the development of the number of new students in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Synergy to Achieve Achievement program at SMP Negeri 1 Krangkeng Kabuapaten Indramayu. The Synergy Program is one of the efforts to overcome various problems of low achievement in schools. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the Synergy Program has provided good benefits in improving school achievement, including: (1) increasing students' abilities/competencies in reading and translating the Quran, (2) increasing student achievement in the fields of science and technology in various olympics, (3) increasing student achievement in the arts and scouts, and (4) increasing student achievement in literature and literacy. The increase in student achievement is in line with the increase in teacher achievement in various fields. The implementation of the Synergy to Achieve Achievement program in school management can improve school achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to implement examples non examples learning on the material of excellence and limitations between spaces and the role of economic actors. The subjects of the study were grade VIII.A students at SMP Negeri 1 Sindang, Indramayu Regency. This study used an action research method that was carried out in two cycles. Data is collected through observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that learning examples non examples can improve student learning outcomes with an average score of 81.71 in cycle II. The examples non examples learning model also increases students' critical power to analyze, describe, and conclude something contained in the examples given to learn and master the concepts of the material being presented.

Abstract

The problem of educators in the 4.0 era in making breakthroughs in the creation of innovative learning material delivery, especially after COVID-19, requires innovative solutions in teaching and learning activities in elementary schools. The curriculum developed is expected to be able to provide a pleasant learning atmosphere and educational goals will be easily achieved according to the situation and conditions in the educational unit. This study aims to analyze the operational curriculum of MI/SD schools as a reference to develop components of post-COVID-19 operational curriculum development. This research uses library research method. The results showed that the development of the operational curriculum for MI/SD schools after COVID-19 can be carried out with various principles, paying attention to the preparation references, and the preparation process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the learning process and learning outcomes on geometry concept material using a group investigation learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of Class VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Krangkeng Indramayu Regency The results showed that the group investigation learning model could improve the quality of the learning process as shown by an increase in interest by 13.45% (cycle I: 70.34%, cycle II: 83.76%), and an increase in student learning outcomes by 14.48% (cycle I: 68.28%, cycle II: 82.76%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of Spiritual Quotient (SQ) in the development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum at MAN 2 Pamekasan. This research uses qualitative methods. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study describes that the development of the PAI curriculum has basic principles, namely a holistic approach, an experiential approach, and ethical values that are applied in every aspect of life. The aspects developed in the curriculum include the development of knowledge and faith, morals and ethics, and the integration of SQ and EQ. These aspects are developed through main strategies that include the integration of religious subjects with social sciences, the development of extracurricular activities with religious themes, and the study of religious moderation. This approach aims to help students understand religion deeply and practice it in daily life, as well as help students develop their spiritual potential optimally.
