Abstract

The Qur'an learning is very fundamental in Islamic education, especially in elementary education. The Qur'an is one of the subjects that must be taught to children. Early education in the Qur'an is expected to produce young people having a strong mental foundation, education not only makes children as prosperous in the world, but also provides sufficient provisions to both improve their religion and practice their scriptures. To be able to practice the Holy Qur'an correctly, children must be guided and taught how to read the Qur'an properly in accordance with the rules of true recitation. In fact the Qur'an learning at MI AL-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan initially tended to be monotonous for being dominated by conventional learning methods. As a result,  the Qur'an learning only produced generations that could read the Qur'an with the average ability without any sense of love and closeness to the Qur'an instead of having enthusiasm in learning it well. As time goes by, the Qur'an learning at MI Al-Hidayah has increasingly developed by applying the so-called Wafa method. This method teaches children to be able to read and memorize the Qur'an by maximizing the right brain. This is classified as a new method, but it is quite practical and fun in the learning process. The research was aimed at determining the effect of the Wafa method on the ability of children to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan. The research method is quantitative with the experimental type of one group pretest-post test, data analysis techniques use the mean pretest and posttest, in addition, to testing the hypothesis it uses the Paired Sample T-Test with the SPSS 16. The results showed the influence of the Wafa method on the children ability to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan. It was proven from the results of the analysis through the mean pretest formula, it was obtained a value of 82.92 and increased in the acquisition of the mean value of posttest amounted to 85.75. In addition, in the Paired Sample T-Test based on significance values with SPSS 16, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,000 <0,05, because sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted and it could be concluded that there is an influence of the WAFA Method on the ability to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of Hybrid Learning using the Edmodo application in the subject of the qualitative research method for fourth semester students at Podi PGMI UNISMA Malang. The discussion chapter is divided into three sub-topics. First is online lecture planning in qualitative research courses. Starting from semester learning plans, learning strategies and material preparation in the form of soft files, so that they are easily uploaded and downloaded by lecturers and students. The second is the implementation of online lectures in qualitative research courses. For some online college students it is new but for most online college students it is new. The difficulties and advantages of online ducting appear on each side. One of the difficulties associated with technical matters is understanding material and collecting tasks. From an excess point of view, one of them is that students no longer print assignments so they are more efficient because there are no printing costs for lecture assignments. The three Edmodo assessments provide a variety of assignment models ranging from file delivery assignments, choice of gandan, essay, match, and incorrect. In addition, the value of learning outcomes is better controlled because each task file, Edmodo provides an assessment form. So that students are able to know the assessment transparently. And if something goes wrong, students and lecturers can monitor each other while conducting joint evaluations.

Abstract

The learning process is inspiring, fun, challenging, and motivates students to participate actively, providing space for students to be creative according to their abilities. Therefore we need a learning method with an appropriate approach in order to explore student abilities in aspects of skills. Learning with discovery learning approach is one approach that can be applied to develop students' skills, namely the ability to think creatively. Learning by discovery emphasizes the activities of students to learn on their own and eventually will find results. Here the teacher is no longer a giver of knowledge but acts as a facilitator or supervisor. That is because the discovery learning approach provides opportunities for students to explore thinking skills in finding their own knowledge and building creative reasoning according to their respective abilities. Indirectly students will be directed to become a researcher who is required to have the ability to think creatively.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning motivation students through the application of hpnoteaching methods on social studies fifth grade of Nurul Ijtihad Pujut elementary school even semester 2016-2017. The type of this research is classroom action research with Kurt Lewin’s model. This research consisted of two cycles, and each cycle is made up of one meeting, data collection techniques were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The observation used to see the activities of the teacher and the students while the questionnaires used to see student learning motivation. Data analysis was using techniques analysis quantitative descriptive. The object of this study is the fifth grade of elementary school Nurul Ijtihad Pujut. The results showed that the implementation of hpnoteaching method could improve student learning motivation. It can be seen from achieving category values, in the first cycle, the average score of learning motivation is 28 with a percentage of 40% with quite high category, and 60% high category. In the second cycle, the average score of learning motivation is 41.6 with a percentage of 30% high category and 70% very high category.

Abstract

Humans as thinking, of course in thinking can not be separated from the activities of thinking. Critical thinking or critical thinking is something that everyone must have. With critical thinking a person will not slip into the abyss of negativity, and falsehood because critical thinking is positive thinking to achieve the product of truth and clarity. Critical thinking is essentially not the monopoly of adults, madrasa or school children also have room for critical thinking even though the level of criticality is different from adults. Philosophy teaches humans to think critically and even deeply. Cogito Descartes is one method used to teach someone to think critically, starting from a doubt to a certainty.

Abstract

Pengelolaan kelas merupakan aspek pendidikan yang sering dijadikan perhatian utama oleh kebanyakan orang, terutama di lingkungan akademik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian  Arends, bahwa manajemen kelas adalah salah satu tantangan terpenting yang dihadapi para guru pemula berdasarkan banyaknya data guru baru yang mengeluhkan kesulitan mereka dalam mengelola kelas. Dalam pandangan psikologi pendidikan, suasana kelas yang nyaman dan kondusif dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa untuk berfokus dalam menyerap informasi, sehingga guru dapat mengajar lebih banyak dengan usaha yang sedikit.Kelas juga merupakan suatu kelompok sosial yang dinamis. Dinamika kelas pada dasarnya merupakan sebuah kondisi yang alami di dalamnya diliputi dorongan untuk aktif dan terarah yang dikembangkan melalui inisiatif guru untuk mengaktifkan dan mengembangkan potensi siswa sebagai pebelajar. Abstract

The quality of learning related to mathematics, science, and literacy, especially for elementary school students is still far behind, not leats at SDN Tanak Embang. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on the basic numeracy literacy skills of fifth-graders at SDN Tanak Embang. This quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students at SDN Tanak Embang. A simple random sampling technique was used to determine the control and the experimental classes. Class VA with 21 students as the control class and class VB with 21 students as the experimental class. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study was 10 questions about the description of simple flat shapes. The analysis prerequisite test used a normality test and homogeneity test. The N-gain test was used to see the difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the control classes and the experimental class. The Wilcoxon test showed that  difference between the pretest and posttest scores, where the posttest scores were higher than the pretests. The N-Gain test shows that the use of the TTW learning model is less effective in the basic numeracy literacy abilities of fifth-grade elementary school students. In contrast, the use of conventional learning models is not effective in the basic numeracy literacy skills of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

In learning there is still a lack of supporting media, students have difficulty understanding mathematics, because there is no concrete media, the teacher's lack of creativity in making learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to develop interactive power point learning media. The purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of interactive power point media on valid grade IV SD/MI flat-building materials. This research is a research and development using the ADDIE model. The results showed that the feasibility of the material was 96.4%, the feasibility of language was 88.8%, and the feasibility of the media was 99.4% with very valid criteria. It can be concluded that the developed interactive power point media is valid to be applied to fourth grade students of SD/MI.

Abstract

The issue of discrimination, intolerance and similar practices should not be left alone, especially in a nation that has a high level of plurality like Indonesia. With this, it is necessary to present an institution called a school to manage and provide education and teaching to students in order to understand the reality of cultural, racial or religious differences. The concept of religious moderation education is a concept that provides a stimulus to students to understand the reality of religious differences. One of the schools that has religious diversity and implements religious moderation education is SDN 2 Sukodono, Jepara Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of religious teachers in the implementation of religious moderation education at SDN 2 Sukodono, Jepara Regency. This research uses a field research approach. This type of research uses qualitative research that emphasizes the search for meaning, impact or phenomena with narrative presentation. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the role of religious teachers at SDN 2 Sukodono, Jepara Regency contains three main roles, namely educator, teacher and facilitator. Meanwhile, the cultivation of the values ​​of religious moderation is manifested in intracurricular activities (classroom learning) and extracurricular activities (green school), and holiday celebrations.
